Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to
fulfill all righteousness." Then John consented. Matthew 3:15
Jesus said He was to be baptized in order to fulfill all righteousness
Yes all Priest who enter the ministry where required to do the ceremonial purifying work before entering the ministry .
Just as the Son of man. He was subject to and therefore required to fulfill the ceremonial laws in respect to purifying. They were used as shadow and therefore could not perfect the conscience. We can understand this by looking at Aaron's two sons that went up in smoke because they wanted to add their own flavor as unauthorized fire.
Joh 3:25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
Are Christians not reckoned as a kingdom of Priest sent out into the word to make disciples of men baptizing them in respect to the authority of God?
Jesus from the tribe of Judah once he was baptized by the Levite John, he followed suite and baptized His disciples preparing them for the ministry.
Where did we today get the idea its a believers baptism to indicate men have the Holy Spirit as a personal sign and wonder?
