o.k, well. give us your interpretation. oh, you won't because that experience wrecks Hebrew roots. because God the father clearly elevates Jesus above the law ( Moses ) and the prophets ( Elijah ) so come on xbrew dude, give us your theology on that event.

no theology needed.
God says, "Remember the Sabbath, to keep it holy" (by the way, this IS the Messiah saying this commandment).

God never said, "Oh disregard that thing about the Sabbath".

easy to understand.

God punished Israel many times for profaning the Sabbath.

let it be noted that anyone or any group that ignores part of the Gospel cannot be taken seriously. so, deciplemike refuses to discuss a part of the Gospel he profess to follow.

the mount of transfiguration experience is a part of the Gospels. you refuse to discuss it. this is self-explanatory.

I made this thread about another topic, not the mount of transfiguration.

you are always welcome, but if you want your own topic, maybe you should make your own thread.

have a good day.

The Seed is the Word of God. (Luke 8.11)

The Seed is in the Fruit. (Gen 1.11)

When God says, "don't eat from that tree" = This is His seed (Word).

When you decide that God's rules don't apply to you,
you eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good & evil.
(The Seed is in the Fruit)

So, when you ignore God's commandments (Seed), whose word (seed) are you eating?

The owner of that tree says, "hissss, you sssshall not ssssurely die".
Trying to live by those "rules" is just living by trying to only eat from the good side of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. And you will surely die....because you are still eating from the wrong tree.

In Hebrews 12:26 same chapter. states that the lord will shake once more the heaven and earth. Not to remove the things that cannot be shaken but to shake those things that can. This Implies that no corruption will dwell on His holy mountain. That all things in heaven and earth will be proven "shaken" before we enter the city of God in mount Sion. Verse 22

"For God is in all consuming fire." same chapter verse 29. Is this not why Moses trembled exceedingly for what he seen in verse 21. Sounds like only the elect can see God.

12-23 Seems to be an account for the elect and there steadfastness in Christ, believing that Christ is the high priest and by the sprinkling of His blood we are justified.

This chapter is calling for righteousness.
And since GOD will only accept perfection, how would man keep the law before JESUS came and kept the law perfectly.

The only thing man could do Is try to keep the law.We are now under grace,JESUS who fulfilled the law, righteously,

fully man and fully GOD and all the wrath of GOD was satisfied by punishing sin In the body of JESUS and HIS blood was accepted by GOD the Father.

So thats why you can't mix law and grace,It would be saying, because I tried,I helped when the person should give JESUS ALL the credit for a PERFECT sacrice on the behalf of man and If JESUS had not perfectly fulfilled the law,our father would not have accepted the blood of JESUS and grace would not be available.

So then when someone Is saying we should keep the ten commandments they would be saying at best,I tried.

Jesus said keep the two commandments, love GOD and love your neiighbor, and this grace that only JESUS made possible for us Is accessed through faith In the WORD of GOD.

Not necessarily. I'm somewhat of a "Hebrew Roots" guy, and I believe in the mount of transfiguration account. That event doesn't automatically "wreck" a Hebrew roots perspective.

in my opinion Genesis 1:11 is of creation of the living plants on earth.

1 Peter 1:23

for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.

Peter knew first hand.
The seed (Word) of God will produce fruit.

Do we partake of that seed, or the seed that says we don't need God's word to tell us what to do?

Some will rebel against ANY authority, and say they are under NO authority.
