and things like this clearly show that in the mount of transfiguration experience, God the Father elevates Jesus above Moses ( the law ) and Elijah ( the prophets ). hear Him!!!

Amen.

So many people just hide behind their computers, copy and paste bible verses and proclaim things such as these threads. ANYONE can do that. Jesus is more concerned in saving, healing and loving on His people.
A girl after my own heart....yes yes yes.

Amen...the law and the prophets were until Jesus came. Not one part of the law will be done away with until all is fulfilled. This has happened in Jesus Christ.

Luke 16:16 (KJV)
[SUP]16 [/SUP]The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Notice that the preaching of the kingdom of God is NOT the law. It is Christ Himself.

We live in the New Covenant now which has commandments which are these. The "doing" of these is what is required in the New Covenant.

1 John 3:23 (NASB)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.

The law did it's job and showed us our need for a Savior. The law is NOT of faith and it is not for the righteous. We are righteous in Christ.

Well I was going to stick with the o.p. but couldn't let this pass.

No I do not think Moses made it up...but I do know that Israel did not want the law giver to speak so they choose Moses over God.

"you people"?
wow nice thanks
You take offense at that? Really. I hate to be generalizing but it's something we all observe, admit it or not. People who preach the law are more conscious of others breaking it. Really how is that different from the Westboro Baptist church?

well, the King said to obey his Son, over Moses and Elijah, on the mount of transfiguration , which you ignore the Meaning of, so maybe you should enlighten us as to the Hebrew roots way of twisting that back to mt . sinah, that is where ya'll try to drag the entire Bible back to, instead of Christ.
There is a subtle difference of interpretation here.
Jesus is saying all that was before pointed to me, I am the fulfillment of it all.

It is in walking in the cross, with a humble heart, given to service, love, needs, that we
find we also walk in the moral law, and all Gods intentions. So they do not contradict each
other, rather they show the intent. It is like delving into a puzzle, the deeper you go the
more you see how it is held together.

Sinner only see God with rules and punishment. As you get closer you see His ways are pure
and right, while sinful people rebel and hand themselves over to desires of this world and the
immediate that bring death and destruction to their lives.

You go deeper still and God says with communion with Him you can follow the rules because you
have become like Him, and it is an outflow of your intent and heart.

At the core of the Father is this still small voice, behind all the holiness, power and truth, He is
love reaching out, but you can only find Him by walking in love and it becoming who you are.

This is why the cross is the power of God, it summarises the dilemma that we are, and the love
we need, and the attitude we need to carry each day. And it also carries a reality, which many
appear to rebel against, a real condemnation and hatred of, though they claim the word Christian,
they want domination, health and wealth, worldly blessing, and all that is good to support who
they are. They know their conscience and mind condemn them constantly, but they ignore this,
and just say it is the enemy discouraging them, rather than asking why do they behave like they
do?

Until you can love all around, you are deceiving yourself about what is within. For all our attitudes
come from our hearts and it is their Jesus wants us to find resolution with the cross.

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." Luke 9:23

The reality of these words comes down to your heart. Are you a good and faithful
servant following Jesus and His words? It is easy to know this reality. Would it hurt
you if Jesus said "Do you love me?"
Peter felt this hurt, because though in our effort to do the right thing we often get
things mixed up, but Jesus is so gracious, he waits for us to sort things out and stay
true to our faith and trust in Him.
