We may not fully understand Gods' plan for our lives. Its all about trusting in him and obeying his commands. God is our loving father and wants whats best for us.

[h=1]Jeremiah 29:11[/h]11For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Hi Von, that verse in Jeremiah is very encouraging tonight. Knowing He loves us and then even has a plan for us that will prosper and not harm us to give us a hope and a future. He has to love us very much to give this kind of promise. We are in the Beloved because we have Jesus.

I love this instantly it reminded me of Psalm 139…. For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful; I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.

Feelings are so fickle. One moment G-d can feel close then the next a far off. But His Word is the anchor and we serve a good, great G-d, that loves and knows little ol’ me and you. And it is all good!!!!

These quotes you have been posting are really wonderful FreeInChrist. That statement Oz made of faith is so true. Each day we believers get challenged to step out onto the water sort of speak and to see how the Lord holds us up. He won't call us to something He won't hold us up in.

And also, if we make wrong steps and sink on our own, He comes and lifts us up and out. He has us covered by His gracious love. Have you ever read the devotional "Streams In The Desert" By Mrs. Cowman? She had a small little series of devotionals where she talks about her and her husband missions to China and how the Lord got them through. Then she also has quotes from other believers over the years too.

It goes to show how those who have gone on before us and found joy in the journey can tell us a whole lot about how faithful Jesus is. And that He is always a lifter of our heads. Keeps us where we should be when He shows us the joy it is to make it our mission in life to follow after Him.

Once we find out He has the answers to every question, the remedy to every need, we can look with joyful anticipation for the next answer to the next question. Once we find He will never leave us or forsake us because He says so and He does it., there is no place we want to go but close to Him.

God prescribed order of victory for the Believer is "The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:2). This means that the Believer must maintained Faith exclusively in Christ and His Finished Work, i.e., The Cross, i.e., The Blood of Jesus. God has chosen to operate His work from the basis of faith. No human being can fulfill what Christ Alone can do.

When a Believer faith waivers it frustrates the grace of God. And if the Believer continues in this sin they fall from grace (Christ will be of no benefit to you). Gods plan is clear; The Just (Righteous) shall by faith. Hebrews 10:38
