Mat 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
Mat 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man and then he will spoil his house.

The above verses , referring to binding the strongman, obviously do imply an ability to restrain him form preventing us from reclaiming, recovering and restoring that whish he has looted and stolen from Yahweh's people. The order here would be to first bind the strong man; second, loose his hold upon your stolen possessions (spiritual or natural); and third, make sure you have made room receive the restoration of them back to you. these words can help you bind the strong man so he cannot prevent your loosing his hold upon what is rightfully yours.

However back to the fact that the word of Yahweh does say that by binding the strong man, take back the spoils of his house. Isa. 53 speaks of our Savior.

Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Luk 11:20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
Luk 11:21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
Luk 11:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armor wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
Luk 11:23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

Our Savior in us, is stronger then he who is in the world. the Savior has overcome satan and has stripped him of his robe of office and weaponry.

Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

In Messiah we have we have been given the authority to bind the strong man and impair his ability to prevent us from plundering his house and distributing his spoils back to those who he robbed in the first place!

Our beloved Savior told us so; Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

There is an Old Testament confirmation that speaks of the deliverance of captives and prey from satans kingdom or house;
Isa 49:25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

The Hebrew word interpreted as mighty is (gibbor), meaning powerful, warior, tyrant and also STRONG MAN. The Hebrew word in this verse rendered as terrible is arits meaning fearful, powerful, tyrannical, mighty, oppressor, strong, terrible, violent.

Everything and everyone that satan has laid his claim to has been taken from Yahweh's creation, mankind. Our Savior has given us instructions on how to render the works of the enemy of our souls useless and take the stolen goods and captives back. 1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Thank-you for posting this. Asking for your prayers to bring down some family strongholds of blindness, hatreds, lying, contention, cunning control, manipulation, delusional ranting, to name a few. Like the walls of Jericho, through persistent faithfulness, and combat faith, walls of all strongholds can turn into dust and ashes-- "No weapon that's fashioned against us will stand, the battle belongs to the Lord."

Jas 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

for each of us in this fallen world, it is about the Faith that God has bestowed upon us,
'Here a little, there a little', we must learn how to use what He has so lovingly given
and shared with us...not easy, never simple, but we must desire to learn through
our Love for Him to 'over-come' the enemy, who tries to usurp us at every
turn...when we learn how to use this precious 'gift', He, in His great mystery of Love,
gives us more Faith in order to take us to a higher level/place than where we were...

True, but it could have been the vibration of the ground from the men marching around the exterior of the walled City along with the sound of the horns prevented the people within the walled City from detecting (hearing or feeling) the vibrations from Joshua compromising the structural integrity of the wall.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Joh 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.

When Israel was in the desert God told them:

Exo 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

This peculiar treasure is segula in Hebrew. The best way of describing segula is when you take a valuable treasure and cover it with both hands to protect it. It is a treasure so valuable that the king will not entrust it to anybody else. That is how valuable we are to God. We are segula in His hands.
