In Luke 21:25 Jesus told us of what would occur before the heaven and the earth would be shaken, Jesus said Luke 21:25 “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;”
Jesus was not talking about a literal ocean here, but rather a sea of humanity foaming out their own shame in mocking’s, railings, and blasphemy. This same sign is also shown in Jude 1:13 “Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.”
Jude describes them as those who speak evil of things they do not understand, natural brute beasts. These were even among the early disciples being spots in their feasts of charity, those who fruit had withered, even without fruit. Jude then refers to Enoch, and the Lords coming with his saints to execute judgment upon the “ungodly” among them.
Jude describes them as ungodly sinners with their hard speeches.They are described as murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts, mouths speaking great swelling words. Jude goes on to say in Jude 1:17-19 “But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;[SUP]18 [/SUP]How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.[SUP]19 [/SUP]These be they who separate themselves, sensual,having not the Spirit.”
We are told in 2 Peter 3:3 “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,” And also in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.[SUP]2 [/SUP]For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,[SUP]3 [/SUP]Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,[SUP]4[/SUP]Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;[SUP]5 [/SUP]Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
Many of these traits are also being manifest and displayed openly in those who call themselves Christians, so we know the time drawing near. This sea of iniquity is like the RED sea of Sin, the sea of humanity which the Lord will also divide.
Job 26:12 “He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.”
Psalm 74:13 “Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.”
Psalm 136:13 “To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:”
Isaiah 51:15 “But I am the Lord thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The Lord of hosts is his name.”
Jeremiah 31:35 “Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name:”

I suspect that the whole earth will be covered with people. After the millennial reign there will be no room for oceans when the new earth is repopulated with folks the way God intended before sin entered in.
God loves souls so He is going to fill the new earth and the new Jerusalem with them.

[SUP]13 [/SUP] The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.
Hades is somehow sea-like. The 'deeper' you go, the darker it is.
In the story of Noah, the whole world was covered by sea except for the righteous inside the Ark. Baptism is about how we are covered in water and raised from water. Our 'Exodus' is how God separates the sea of Hades for us to go across, just as foreshadowed by Moses leading the Jews went across the Red Sea. The Jews went to the promised land of Canaan, as we will go to the promised land of New Earth and New Heaven.
God didn't tell Noah to catch the fishes, so possibly whatever Noah caught may re-appear in the New Earth and New Heaven but in the absence of the fishes due to 'no more seas'.
New earth and New Heaven may have brand new species of animals other than those saved by Noah. Perhaps it has lakes if no sea?

Yes, and that is how the Holy Spirit teaches, by comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Here is another couple of posts that speak of a spiritual flood and the depths of Satan--->>>
The flood in the days of Noah were also symbolic of another spiritual flood prophesied here in Daniel 9:26 “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”
When did the prince of this world come? John 14:30; “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.”
When did the spiritual flood start? Revelation 12:13-16; “And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth."
This is the spiritual flood of persecution and false doctrine that has been ongoing ever since Jesus was caught up unto God. But was all part of the judgments the Lord proclaimed before hand.
This is the same flood waters the Lord spoke of in Isaiah 54:7-9; “For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.”

In Revelation 2:24 Jesus spoke of those who were teaching false doctrine, as those who speak the depths of Satan, which is speaking of the depths of darkness, or a darkened doctrine from those who are in darkness. I decided to post this on this thread because it also pertains to that spiritual flood which would come out of the mouth of the Serpent and all his false prophets like a flood of lies.
I watched a show the other day where these divers were deep sea diving for rare aquatic species. And it showed in the show how the deeper in the sea they went the darker it became. After several feet of depth colors began to fade and darken until eventually as one got deeper and deeper into the depths it became increasingly darker. I would also liken this to the depths of Satan, as there would be degrees of darkness as one got further and further away from the Light.
It’s interesting in the beginning before the Lord said “let there be light” the Lord first said in Genesis 1:2 “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” This is interesting when you think about how the Spirit like a great wind can move the face, or surface of the waters. And also how natural light can penetrate the surface of the waters, but the deeper depths would see less light.
Now think about what Jesus said about Himself being the light of the world, and of his leaving the world, and of the night or darkness coming. John 9:4-5 “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.[SUP]5 [/SUP]As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
Think about this, if the doctrine of lies comes in like a flood and creates depths of darkness, just think about how the Truth does the opposite of that and brings forth the Light, as God’s Word is Truth and Light. So the further you get away from the Truth according to the words of God, the further you get away from the Light. But also the further from the Light you get the deeper you sink into the belly of darkness.
Jesus said Luke 11:34 “The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.” The word single there is defined as being “whole, sound, and good” Just as the Lord said in the beginning, after He said “let there be light: and there was light” then it was said of Him “And God saw the light, that it was good:”
It is those who believe and abide in the Truth that have the eyes of their understanding enlightened. These also by abiding in the Truth shall abide in the Light.
Isaiah 59:19 “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”
Matthew 24:27 “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
2 Peter 1:19 “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:”

Here's another symbolism which shows the Serpent=the Devil symbolized as Leviathan who plays in the sea=sea of humanity.

Leviathan is symbolic of the Devil, aka Serpent, aka Red Dragon....

Where does the 7 headed Red Dragon rise up from.....
