It occurs to me that young people (such as teenagers) can be a real breath of fresh air, because they haven’t become prideful yet (and hopefully never will).

Why thank you! I know I am so amazing! :D
Haha totally kidding.

I still have hope that there are people who aren't prideful despite their age.
Although from experience I have seen and been around many prideful teens.

I think some young people get off to good starts in life, obeying the commandments of the Lord. The Lord blesses them because of their good behavior. Then, sadly, some of them yield to the temptation of pride and lose the Lord’s blessings.

Meanwhile, other young people commit a lot of sin in their lives and lose out on the Lord’s blessings. Some of these, however, repent of their sin, become productive Christians, and are rewarded by the Lord with his blessings.

And so it is:

But many that are first will be last, and the last first. Matt 10:31 RSV

And:

[17] "Yet your people say, `The way of the Lord is not just'; when it is their own way that is not just.
[18] When the righteous turns from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, he shall die for it.
[19] And when the wicked turns from his wickedness, and does what is lawful and right, he shall live by it.
[20] Yet you say, `The way of the Lord is not just.' O house of Israel, I will judge each of you according to his ways." Ezekiel 33:17-20 RSV

I found when I was a teenager in the Lord I was so open theres an innocence with it. With bad teens rebellious ones when tempted by their lifestyle I had to immediately give that temptation to God I didnt want to entertain the thought.

You do realize that the Scripture from old Zeke you quoted is the best argument against OSAS right?

:)

OSAS? As old Zeke told us, as long as we are obeying the Lord, everything is fine, and as long as we are not obeying the Lord, trouble is afoot.

From my experience in church, youth can be called "crazy, immature, naive" and all that stuff. But I work in the A/V room and my mom is a big leader (very humble). I can attest there are a lot of hypocrites and those are mostly the adults using years of experience to gain social status. It's sad

Yes, I suppose not all youth are saints, and yes, some adults are hypocrites seeking social status (and manage to maneuver themselves into leadership positions in the church). Actually, I suppose none of us are perfect.

I would have to confess that I haven't had the opportunity to know a lot of teenagers well. Still, it seems to me that pridefullness is something that sometimes really blossoms in adults.

I have meet and encountered many teenagers one thing I see most in them is pride always boasting always looking down on others to exalt themselves always about me self and I.

This is the generation they grew up in and so pride arrogance and ignorance is abundant in the youth, not to say all are like this but I suppose humility and selflessness and the ability to listen and consider the words and advice of others is lacking in many regardless of age

As I confessed in my previous post, I really haven't spent much time with teenagers. However, I think with age people grower cleverer, and some learn how to make real nuisances of themselves, on a grand scale.
