Psalm 2
The Reign of the Lord’s Anointed

1Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?
2The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying,
3“Let us burst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”

4He who sits in the heavens laughs;
the Lord holds them in derision.
5Then he will speak to them in his wrath,
and terrify them in his fury, saying,
6“As for me, I have set my King
on Zion, my holy hill.”

7I will tell of the decree:
The Lord said to me, “You are my Son;
today I have begotten you.
8Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and the ends of the earth your possession.
9You shall break them with a rod of iron
and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

10Now therefore, O kings, be wise;
be warned, O rulers of the earth.
11Serve the Lord with fear,
and rejoice with trembling.
12Kiss the Son,
lest he be angry, and you perish in the way,
for his wrath is quickly kindled.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Acts 4
The Believers Pray for Boldness

23When they were released, they went to their friends and reported what the chief priests and the elders had said to them. 24And when they heard it, they lifted their voices together to God and said, “Sovereign Lord, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them, 25who through the mouth of our father David, your servant, said by the Holy Spirit,

“‘Why did the Gentiles rage,
and the peoples plot in vain?
26The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers were gathered together,
against the Lord and against his Anointed’—

27for truly in this city there were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, 28to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place. 29And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, 30while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

The devil has not been released yet, because he hasn't even been put into the bottomless pit. First he becomes one with the Beast and the False Prophet, then they are destroyed and he is trapped in the bottomless pit at the center area of the Earth. This happens after Christ returns. The Rapture occurs at this time, and Satan is bound by the spirit of God surrounding the planet, blocking him in. At the end of Millennium, this phenomenon ceases, and he is released into a physical body to once again deceive the nations. This starts the Final Battle, and we are nowhere near that time yet.

Hello Truthseer,

I am in complete agreement with you in that, Satan has not yet been bound in the Abyss. However, I do not agree with you that the gathering of the church takes place after Christ returns to the earth to end the age. And that because it would put the living church through the entire wrath of God.

Those who are resurrected there in Rev.20:4-6, are the great tribulation saints, who are apart of the first resurrection, not the only. There are multiple resurrections that take place prior to Christ's return, which are stages of the first resurrection, with Christ being the first fruits.

Hello Truthseer,

You can not offer a single Scripture to prove that statement.
That is nothing more than your opinion based on a misunderstanding of Scripture.

3and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. - Rev 20

I suspect that even the release has been initiated.
Satan has not been bound for 1000 years yet,for when he is the nations are not deceived,and if the nations are not deceived there is no wars,no fighting,peace,tranquility,no lost souls.

Satan is bound at the beginning of the millennial reign,which is a physical reign,and the world attacked Jerusalem,Israel,and Jesus came back with His saints,and they rule over some of the people that God spared,and Satan is not deceiving the nations,so the heathen are acting right.

Satan is loosed and deceives the people,and they go against the saints,and God rains fire upon them,and the millennial reign is over.

The people that Jesus and the saints rule over took the mark of the beast,but God postponed their judgment until the end of the millennial reign.

That is why God said He set His glory among the heathen,and in that day there shall be one LORD,and His name one,and the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD.

I have never heard that idea before, that God will postpone the judgement of those who took the mark of the beast until the end of the millennial reign. Will have to think on that one for a while.
