colossians 1:9-14 "For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ASK GOD TO FILL YOU WITH the KNOWLEDGE OF HIS WILL through all the wisdom and understanding THAT THE SPIRIT GIVES, SO THAT YOU may LIVE A LIFE WORTHY OF THE LORD AND PLEASE HIM IN EVERY WAY: bearing fruit in EVERY GOOD WORK, GROWING IN the knowledge OF God, being STRENGTHENED with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving JOYFUL thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to SHARE IN THE INHERITANCE OF his holy people in the KINGDOM of LIGHT. For HE HAS RESCUED US FROM THE DOMINION OF DARKNESS and brought us into THE KINGDOM of THE SON HE LOVES, in whom we have REDEMPTION, the FORGIVENESS of sins."

A few things to consider and study in many other areas of scripture. are we called to Just rest in the finished work? or are we called to strive to be like Jesus? should we disregard our way of Life that is sinful and say were saved anyways? Or are we called to rid ourselves of sinful actions, behaviors, thoughts? are we called to just call Jesus Lord and believe were saved no matter what because we called Him Lord? or should we take the Lords words to Heart, Knowing that He gave His Life to give us hope of eternal Life? are we really ever taught in scripture to forget what Jesus said? or take His words as not what the church is to believe? Or are we taught to take Jesus word above all others because He is the One God sent to save the world?

Many people will tell you nmany things, reasons why Jesus words are good, yet, they arent what you should believe and do. the things He says to believe and actually do. there are a thousand contrived reasons why Everything changed after Jesus but the truth is Jesus is the same in the past, present and future. His teachings remain the same as He spoke to His followers, everything He said to them came from Jesus who already Knew He would die for them, as a ransom to redeem them from Death. He forgave sins long before He was crucified showing His complete authority. There is no doctrine that actually is taught in the bible that any reason is valid to omit Jesus authority on any matter, past present of future. repeatedly the church is warned " do not be deceived" do not be led astray by empty words promising things that only Jesus offers. Salvation was designed By God, to come through His only son to those who put thier faith in Him. Believeing His ministry, His gospel of the Kingdom. the exact same gospel taght by all of His disciples and was commanded By Jesus to be taught to the world after His resurrection. There is no change from Jesus, to His disciples, the change was from Moses to Jesus. thats according to Gods written Word, not the latest " revolution of salvation" there is not now nopr ever will there be a reason to change from the doctrine taught By Jesus Christ. be on Guard when anyone is pushing you to deviate from the teaching of God that was Jesus ministry on Earth recorded so that All who choose to believe can Know His will.

a different thought a main part of the gospel we hardly hear, but the heart of Loving our fellow man.

Luke 14 :12-14 "Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. 13But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, 14and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

The same thing here

matthew 25:34-40 "
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’40“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’"

the truth is that even believers today dont want to hear the truth about brotherly Love. it is not saying nice things, it is acting in the compassion Given to us by God. it is to lay down the greed we love to deny, and help those who the world has left behind, tossed aside. each time i bring this up, i hear " helping the needy wont get anyone to heaven" and things along those lines Yet Jesus the very One who will return, says himself very clearly what He says. this is the heart of the gospel, to Love one another in actions and in truth.

1 john 3:16-18 "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with ACTIONS AND IN TRUTH."

james 2:14-17 "
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

To Love our neighbor as ourself. means when we are huingry, we feed ourself, when we are thirsty we drink ect. We have needs, we meet them, that is the same Love we are to have for those who need it. when the poor family you know means more to you than that bass boat you covet and are saving for, you are in close relationship with God. when you are willing to lay your own desires down, because your brother needs what you have you are becoming the Image of Jesus, you are in Christ when you are led by the spirit of His word, Brotherly Love, true and active Love, belief made action.

we are called to surrender our whole selves to the transforming power of His Spirit and this we must do each day. it is an ongoing and active choice for all who shall love his appearing.

One thing we don't hear from such people when they teach their lie is treating others like they say God is treating them. They don't show such free "favor" to others that disagree..... they show bitterness , anger, superiority, mockery, & lie on them, falsely accusing them.

They don't possess the fruit of a born again christian. Nothing is as it seems with them. True love is missing.

What you will usually find is the same "love" a used car salesman uses when making his "salespitch". Tell them you're not buyin' & watch them change.

amen !

luke 9:23-26 "Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. 24For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. 25What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self?26Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels."

thats the truth, very enlightened observation. to me its the "grace lens" it truly teaches people that Gods word doesnt actually apply because of were saved by Grace, then thats all that matters. the " finished works" distorted to a point where " if you put your whole heart into following Jesus....then you are denying His work" every aspect is a distortion, an endless circle because the modern grace salvation, denies what the Lord teaches, what His apostles teach. the grace lens blinds the mind to the truth. its just like what the serpent did to eve. He gave her a speacial way to see what God said, by causing her to doubt His word " did God really say that?"///then when she considers He offers Her a new way to see the fruit. " surely you wont die, God doesnt want you to have it because oit will make you like Him" to this eves response is to begin looking at the fruit seeing its pleasure to her eye, and believing its actually gonna make Her wise like God. thats the very first "special grace lens" when all she had to do is believe Gods word and understand the fruit was death. when we start special interpretations of Gods word and thoise interpretations omit what He actually said, we have been decieved.

thats why there are so many warnngs " do not let anyone deceive you with empty, fine sounding words"
