galatians 5:16-25 "So I say, WALK BY the Spirit, and you WILL NOT GRATIFY THE DESIRES OF THE FLESH. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. THEY ARE IN CONFLICT with each other, so that you are not to do whateverc you want. (ROMANS 7:14-25) But IF YOU ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT, YOU ARE NOT UNDER LAW. (note whats actually here, IF you follow the spirit, then you arent under the Law)
The ACTS OF the flesh are OBVIOUS: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I WARN YOU, as I did before, that THOSE WHO LIVE LIKE THIS WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD. ( note whats actually here, paul is clearly speaking of actions of the flesh he even gives a list and plainly states that living in these ways, WILL disqualify a person from eternal Life)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. AGAINST SUCH THINGS THERE IS NO LAW. Those who belong to Christ Jesus HAVE CRUCIFIED THE FLESH WITH ITS PASSIONS AND DESIRES. Since we live by the Spirit, let us KEEP IN STEP WITH THE SPIRIT . " (Note whats actually here this is paul who gets credit for teaching a new conditionless gospel and realize this same teachings is repeatedly taught by Paul, and the other disciples, and all of these things were first taught by Jesus)

There comes a point in time, when a person has to either take Gods word for things, or live Lives inventing reasons to not take God at His word. remember that adam was Given Gods word, then the enemy came along, omited it, spoke the opposite....and adam chose the enemies word spoken through eve to adam. those two spirits have never stopped speaking. today the serpents voice does the same thing it did then. it will always and forever oppose what Jesus said to mankind, because what He said to mankind is the truth, and the enemy is a liar. the easiest identification for truth and fallacy is what Does Jesus say of things. as many ideas that seek to make Him invalid, to His own church, every one of those ideas come fronm the enemy of God, and Gods people. those suttle ideas will lead to destruction, those slight deviations from Jesus are no different thatn eden. One wrong idea that we run with derails the mind.

There is truth, clarity real correction found in the Ministry of Jesus Christ, thats the only place it is found. The One God sent, Gods Son, the promised messiah, the shepherd of souls, the good teacher, the High priest of God, the Apostle of God to the church, the only MEDIATOR of the new covenant. the one who spoke the spirit into the world by the command of God, there is Only Jesus who gives Life, only His message. His ministry from the throne of the Father, His Life death and resurrection and then His ascention to Gods right hand where He remains even Now, the throne of God within the hearts of those who believe by the spirit. Jesus is never going to be " not the authority" His message will never change He taught it to His disciples when He came to earth, and when He rose from the dead, He commanded those same disciples to Go teach the world to obey the things He taught them. To truly believe Gods word, , and then His clear commission that sent the SAME message of Light to the world will certainly save anyone. to choose the ones opposing Jesus ministry and seeking to dethrone the High priest, the author of Life, The King of Kings and Lord of lords will certainly destroy anyone.

When someone comes to you with elaborate ideas and the subject is " why a christian shouldnt actually believe and follow Jesus Ministry" you should know automatically God will never say to any person " dont follow my Sons word, its a bad idea " the truth is really alot more plain than we make it. If anyone holds to Jesus and His Word they will always Know the truth from God. If anyone denies the ministry of Jesus and its complete and eternal validity over all the earth and Even Heaven....they will never know the truth, unless some day they turn to Jesus with full confidence that He is the One to Believe and Obey. if a person is doing that, and they realize " there is sin in my Life" there is forgiveness taught in His ministry on the basis of forgiving others. Now false teachers will tell you that is law.........But the thing is they cant show you that principle anywhere in the Law. the principle of " forgive and you will be forgiven" is Not Law, we know this for a fact because it is not written in the Law, nor is there a principle that is reletively close in the Law. in the Law forgiveness is based solely on sacrificing animals.

The reason false teachers tell you that, is so they can then omit His ministry by showing you the verses teaching us that we died to the Law through Jesus. its like a chain. first, they must convice you that Jesus taught the Law of Moses. which He did not. but thier deception has to have a way to make Jesus ministry invalid to you who belong to Jesus. if they do not do that Part, then the conditionless grace Lie is exposed by Jesus words that teach believers to accept, learn from and obey HIM. it doesnt matter to the false teachers, that scripture clearly teaches that same ministry to the world, thier purpose is not salvation, but justification of ongoing sin, rather than the repentance commanded By God, Jesus, Paul, peter, john and the rest. Learn Jesus Christ, and Believe what He says in the 4 gospels and You will know the truth, and guard against those explaining why its a bad idea,,sort of Like this article that roots things like the gog

“Don’t stray too far from the red letters,” is a piece of advice often given to new preachers. It means, stay close to the teachings of Jesus and you can’t go wrong. It sounds good, but it’s actually bad advice. Everything Jesus said was good and wonderful, but not everything He said was meant for you. Read the red letters of your Bible and you will find both stories of unprecedented grace and merciless declarations of law. Mix these messages and you will end up confused and double-minded. The solution is not to balance law and grace – you can’t – but to filter everything you read through the finished work of the cross. To make sense of what Jesus said, you need to understand what Jesus did and why."

its an echoe of the serpent in eden, " it seems like a bad idea to listen to God and not eat the fruit, but really its not gonna hurt you, God is keeping it from you because it will make you like Him" that ole serpent...ANYTHING to get a persons mind off the truth. Notice if you read the entire article at some point how sigular verses are used, but take the time to read the context in your own bible and you will see a house of cards claiming to be made of Brick, to actually look at the context of verses exposes the Lie. Jesus IS the Only way, the only truth, and the Only Life. the apostles were teaching you from Jesus ministry, the prohets were proclaiming His appearance. its all those 4 gospels the way truth and Life proclaimed By Jesus to His people the Jews, and then testified to by those same disciples, the same message Jesus taught them

matthew 28:20 "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and TEACHING THEM to OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the "age.”"

this is Jesus after He died and rose, directly telling His disciples what to go tell the world. is paul any different? Nope. Paul teaches the same message Jesus taught, His ministry is about repentance, and faith in Jesus Christ.

pauls own words about what he taught... acts 26: 20 "First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds."

No different from what peter taught acts 3:18-26 "But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Messiah would suffer. 19Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. 21Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. 22For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. 23Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’
“Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets who have spoken have foretold these days. 25And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’b 26When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”

and paul again saying..acts 20:21 "I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus."

and anyone who actually studies pauls teachings, can plainly see Him teaching these things. He teaches repentance required Just like Jesus, He teaches that all of us will give an account of our Lives, our actions done while in the body to Jesus...Just Like Jesus does. beware of explainations of why the bible is hard to interpret its really straight forward for those who Believe the message in the bible. rather than figure it out..Pray earnestly and continually for understanding, but it is dire to not accept teachings that oppose Gods Word, Given through Jesus Christ His words are spirit, and they are Life without them there is neither

john 6:63 "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. "

john 3:6 "Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[SUP]b[/SUP] gives birth to spirit. "...so where does the spirit get into our hearts and minds? How are we born of the spirit? By believing the One God sent to speak His life giving Words. are we really born of the spirit through the word?

1 peter 1:22- 23 "
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.[SUP]b[/SUP] 23For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God."

( obeying the truth, " I am the way the truth the Life, the word became flesh...as complex as grace teachers make things.....to Just believe Jesus is Life, simple and the only harmony true believers will ever have is as simple as believing Jesus word as we are commanded to do By God)

is there any other source of the spirit and Life mentioned in Gods word OTHER than Jesus? The Law offered blessed Life on earth under the first covenant. But Now that we have died to the Law....can anyone actually show the teaching in the bible where anything other than Jesus words are the thing to believe? no, they sure cant, its non existant, thats why " they revolutionize" of course a revolution is basically revolting against the current authority..but hey, i guess its popular in the world to change the things God said, thet WE dont agree with....Life is found when we change our thinking to agree with Gods word, death is found when we change Gods word, to agree with our thoughts on things.......

and God said, then the enemy said. Choose Jesus He will not ever fail a person who believes in HIM.

Here is the article by Paul Ellis mentioned in the OP for anyone that wants to see what the context is. People can agree or disagree....:)

This is the supposedly bad post that offends some people???...go figure...:)

I like this article....others don't have to...I won't add you to my heresy files list because you don't...

I believe that Jesus was the greatest Law preacher as well as the greatest grace teacher of the kingdom of God. Jesus gave what each type of person needed to bring them to Himself.

To the self-righteous Jesus "elevated" the Law to reveal that in fact no one could keep the Law the way that "it was intended". Jesus gave the self-righteous Moses 2.0 - the Law on steroids to reveal that they needed a savior.

To the ones that knew they needed a savior Jesus gave grace and the kingdom of God to them Jesus said that prostitutes and tax collectors ( thieves ) would enter the kingdom of God before the religious Pharisees and scribes ( those fluent in the Law ).

Here is a great article that illustrates this truth. I like to use this site sometimes because people can ask questions at the bottom and I learn from the questions being asked.

Quote:

The Greatest Law Preacher

“Don’t stray too far from the red letters,” is a piece of advice often given to new preachers. It means, stay close to the teachings of Jesus and you can’t go wrong. It sounds good, but it’s actually bad advice. Everything Jesus said was good and wonderful, but not everything He said was meant for you.

Read the red letters of your Bible and you will find both stories of unprecedented grace and merciless declarations of law.

Mix these messages and you will end up confused and double-minded. The solution is not to balance law and grace – you can’t – but to filter everything you read through the finished work of the cross. To make sense of what Jesus said, you need to understand
what Jesus did and why.

Jesus lived under law

Jesus lived at the crossroads of two covenants. As humanity’s representative He came to fulfill the old law-keeping covenant in order that we might relate to God through a new and better covenant forged in His blood. Since the new covenant could not begin before He died, Jesus lived all of His pre-cross life under the old covenant of the law:

But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. (Gal 4:4-5)

Jesus was born under law, circumcised by law, and presented in the temple according to the law. Every Jewish person that Jesus met was also born under law. We need to keep this in mind when we read the red letters of Jesus.

What law did Jesus preach?

To those under the law, Jesus preached the pure and unadulterated Law of Moses. When religious people came to trap him with theological puzzles, Jesus would respond with, “What did Moses command you?” (Mk 10:3). If someone asked, “What is the greatest commandment in the law,” Jesus would provide an answer from the law (Mt 22:36). In His law-keeping ministry, Jesus honored the Law of Moses:

The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. (Mt 23:2-3)

Since the law-teachers often made Jesus angry, we might conclude that Jesus was opposed to the law. He was not. Jesus had no problem with what the Pharisees were preaching. “Do everything they tell you.” What really burnt His toast was their hypocrisy – they weren’t practicing what they preached:

Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law. (Joh 7:19)

Why did Jesus preach the law?

Like every grace preacher, Jesus esteemed the law and the purpose for which it was given. The law was given to silence every mouth and hold the whole world accountable (Rms 3:19). The purpose of the law is to make us conscious of sin and reveal our need for a Savior.

Since Sinai, the Jews had had fourteen centuries to learn what the law would teach them – that the flesh is incapable of dealing with sin. However, the law-teachers and Pharisees had ring-fenced the Law of Moses with their traditions and interpretations.

By honoring their traditions ahead of the law, they diluted the law and removed the key to knowledge. As a result, the menace of sin was not fully recognized and the self-righteous weren’t silenced.

If the law had been allowed to do its proper work, the Jews would have been primed and ready for a Savior. Every one of them would have had an experience like the one Paul describes in Romans 7. “Nothing good lives in me. Oh wretched man that I am!” Live under the condemning ministry of the law and you will inevitably come to this question: “Who will deliver me from this body of death?”

If the law-teachers and prophets had done their job, then the entire nation of Israel would have gathered outside that stable in Bethlehem in eager expectation. “He’s here! The Savior has come!” they would have said. “The One who will deliver us from the curse of the law and reconcile us to God has been born. Glory to God in the highest!”

Sadly, it didn’t happen. Since the law-teachers had been negligent, Jesus had to do their job before He could do His own. Before He could save the world from sin, He had to preach the law that made sin utterly sinful. Before He give Himself as the answer, He had to make sure we were asking the right question. Who will deliver us?

So Jesus became the greatest law preacher of all time. As the prophet Isaiah had foretold, He made the law magnificent. He lifted up what others had knocked down and raised the standard to glorious levels of perfection. Never again would mankind be without excuse. You want to know what God expects? Just read the Sermon on the Mount. In it Jesus says that God demands perfection and nothing less.

How did Jesus preach the law?

Preaching the red letters of Jesus is a bit like drinking whatever you find in the laundry. If you’re not paying attention – if you fail to distinguish His life-giving words of grace from His death-dealing words of law – then you could really do some damage. Don’t believe me? Then consider these red letters:

If you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Mat 6:14-15)

This is one of the most-quoted passages in the Bible and it is vintage law. It is a killer scripture. It is not good news. This verse should make us shudder for it says that our forgiveness hinges on our ability to forgive others and we are poor forgivers indeed. Men sin against us repeatedly.

Have we honestly forgiven them all? What if we miss one? And what do we say to those who have been raped and abused? What do you say to a young child who has been molested? “Sweetie, you need to forgive that evil man otherwise God won’t forgive you.” That’s not grace.

That’s the condemning ministry of the law in full bloom. How do you forgive the unforgiveable? You can’t! Then you’re in trouble. The law condemns you as an unforgiver. Now you’re beginning to recognize your need for grace and this is a good thing.

Any time you read a conditional statement from Jesus, you should interpret it as law. “Do not judge and you will not be judged” (Lk 6:37). That’s good advice but it’s also law. To avoid something (judgment) you have to do something (don’t judge). It’s a blessing you have to pay for. And anytime Jesus makes a threat, you should interpret that as law as well. “Anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment” (Mt 5:22). That’s bad news for anyone with a brother!

The law is not for you

Jesus came to reveal grace but those who are confident of their own righteousness are incapable of receiving it. They don’t see their need. What they need is the law and Jesus gave it to them in spades. But Jesus’ larger purpose was to give us His life and His righteousness.

So He also told stories about God justifying sinners and shepherds finding lost sheep. Then He went to the cross fulfilling the law on our behalf that He might be the end of the law for all who believe (Rom 10:4).

Jesus’ came to set the captives free and give sight to the blind.
The law sets nobody free. But the law does reveal your need for a Great Deliverer.

If you are led of the Spirit, you are not under the law,but a person that engages in sins of the flesh are led of the flesh, for if they were led of the Spirit, they would do the things of the Spirit.

Hey DCon... a quick question: I see you have used "dia" in several of your posts, and in each case the context would suit the word "via" as in "by way of". Is this what you mean?

Dia is the Greek word where diameter comes from and the idea was THROUGH....so my quote would be.."they are all the words of the Heavenly Father through Jesus unto man"
based upon my use of Dia.....I have gotten so used to using dia for through that I don't even think about it anymore...

From Genesis to Revelation, Paul, Peter, John, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Moses etc.....they are all the words of the Heavenly Father dia Jesus unto man.
sure they are lol But Jesus is above ALL. who else can you show this about from scripture, not your own opinion, but what scripture actually does say.

matthew 28:18-20 "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20and teaching them TO OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

can you find the secret grace teachings that equal this about paul? moses? any other person in the Bible besides Jesus? or again.....who is the One we call LORD? anyone other than Jesus? and who is the King? anyone other than Jesus? and who is called the High priest of the eternal covenant? anyone other than Jesus? please do enlighten me " why Jesus words arent the authority" show me any scripture from the holy bible that equals the things said of Jesus from beginning to end?

again who is it that died for you? who is it that said this " My words are spoirit and Life" ? where are the scriptures you folks are always explaining? the bible is full of the statement that Jesus IS the only way to God the father, the only One in authority lol you guys and that special grace Lens....omission is really the right word. there is no teaching in the Bible that Jesus and His words dont apply, pre cross, post cross ect. Paul had authority given to Him by Jesus..and who is paul but a servant of the King Jesus? do you suppose Jesus servant is going to invent a new gospel after Jesus died to free us from sin by His words? i dont bother with the gog preachers anymore argued for moinths and its an endless circle. the truth is.......

People plainly see Gods word, but the sinner in us doesnt want to have to repent, we Love sin. Thats Not going to ever lead any person to ternal Life in the presence of a holy God. according to His Word given through HIS SON. you are right all scripture is useful but Jesus and His words are more than all the rest by FAR. they are the words for evey Christian. thats Just a simple fact of Gods word and something even children who believe should grasp. there is no reason for any christian to try to omit Jesus words as less that any other words on Earth. every doctrine that teaches that is a LIE from satan. fact.

naw lol way off " the Law came through Moses, He was the mediator of the first covenant. Jesus spirit was the annointing on the prophets after " son of man" But naw every word didnt come throiugh Jesus. the gospel, the fullness came throiugh Jesus. Moses Gave the Law, FROM GOD. Jesus Gave the gospel of the Kingdom FROM GOD. moses was Gods chosen mediator in the first covenant. Jesus was born on earth way later. and spoke the words in the 4 gospels.

rather than tell me your interpretations....find the scruioptures that say the stuff you are saying, find the ones that Make Jesus words Not the words for the church. find the scriptures that say Jesus gave the mosaic Law. remember moses isnt Jesus He was with Him in the transfiguration. Jesus was spirit in the ot Just Like God the Father is spirit. There were chosen prophets to Give Gods word then guys like Moses, isaiah, ezekiel, daniel, hosea......they were the speakers of Gods word in the ot. Jesus is Gods speakerat the eternal Gospel point. the world couldnt receive Jesus until all the other words of God came to be. I understand why you are saying what you are saying, buit whats written is correct, our thinking is not.

again though please do gather those scriptures......and look first to the context PRAYERFULLY. that will lead to learning truth.

do you see a differerence in Jesus words in these scriptures compared to moses, or paul or the prophets? He is above all

Luke 11:32 "The men of Nineveh will stand at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now ONE GREATER THAN JONAH IS HERE ."

matthew 12:42 "The queen of the south will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and now ONE GREATER THAN SOLOMON IS HERE."

HEBREWS 3:1-3 "Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. 2He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house. 3JESUS HAS BEEN FOUND WORTHY of GREATER HONOR THAN MOSES, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. "

hebrews 1:3 "The SON IS the radiance of God's glory and the EXACT REPRESENTATION OF HIS BEING , sustaining all things by HIS POWERFUL WORD. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."

Again. Jesus Christ is the One to believe in and follow. He is greater than all the men of God combined. who else does the scripture testify like this of? is paul exalted as Jesus? is moses? Is peter or John? or the prophets of Old? absolutely NOT. the old testament foretells of Jesus coming, and the new testament testifies of His truth. and infact He is the main subject of all of the bible. all scripture is pointing to One , The Christ, The Son of the Only Living God. His name is Jesus, and you can find His words that are spirit and Life in the 4 gospels they are meant for anyone who believes in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. what of paul and the apostles are they authorized to changes the salvation announced By Jesus Christ? or are the proclaiming HIS MESSAGE to the world as commanded?

hebrews 2:1-4 "We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was FIRST ANNOUNCED BY THE LORD., was confirmed to us by THOSE WHO HEARD HIM. 4God also TESTIFIED TO IT by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.""

Paul ronmans 1:1-5 "Paul, A SERVANT OF Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God— 2the gospel he PROMISED BEFOREHAND THROUGH HIS PROPHETS in the Holy Scriptures REGARDING HIS SON, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David, 4and who THROUIGH THE SPIRIT OF HOLINESS was DECLARED WITH POWER power by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ OUR LORD. 5Through him we received grace and apostleship to CALL ALL THE GENTILES TO THE OBEDIENCE THAT COMES FROM FAITH FOR HIS NAMES SAKE." ( the name is Jesus)

james 1:1 "James, a SERVANT OF God and of the Lord Jesus Christ...."

1peter 1:1-2 "Peter, an APOSTLE OF Jesus Christ,
To God’s elect, exiles scattered throughout the provinces of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, 2who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, TO BE OBEDIENT TO JESUS CHRIST and sprinkled with his blood:
Grace and peace be yours in abundance."

2 peter 1:1-2 "Simon Peter, a SERVANT and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:
Grace and peace be yours in abundance THROUGH the KNOWLEDGE OF God and of Jesus our Lord."

2 john 1:3 "Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from JESUS CHRIST THE FATHERS SON, will be with us in truth and love."

hopefully, you understand that these things are n your bible as well, and what these verses are saying, is that Jesus is above everyone else. His words are the authority from God, eternally. moses speaking is less than Jesus. clearly Jesus is worthy of the greatest Honor and to me, i fail to understand the christian belief that there is some other Gospel than the one Jesus spoke, and then paid for with His Life to make the new covenant. Jesus is to be exalted above all, even other scripture. if Jesus spoke it, it is the eternal truth. all scripture is God breathed and useful for correction and learning...But Jesus words are spirit and Life.

I hope you understand it doesnt matter if we disagree, but when folks come to a post so full of clear scriptures and start giving opinions that arent taught anywhere in the bible......to me its important to give truth.

the reason we arent to stray from Jesus is that He is the One authorized By God, He is the Only Lord the only One between God and man is Jesus, He is the mediator. Jesus is not the Father, He is the Fathers Only begotten Son. He is the one at the right hand of God. paul nor any apostle dared to omit a single word, that is evident in thoier epistles, you will find them teaching the same exact things Jesus taught. Because they all understood, He is the Lord. None of them taught finished works doctrines like the varying ones out there. They all taught reopentance of sin, and obedience to Jesus. Grace doesnt omit anything, it is Gods Gift that enables a sinner to become a child of God, in the image of His Only begotten Son. its really so simple when we do this

hebrews 3:1 "Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, FIX YOUR THOUGHTS ON JESUS, whom we acknowledge as OUR APOSTLE AND HIGH PRIEST."

Jesus my friend, the bible is really a revelation of Jesus Christ. what He means to mankind, how much He Loves us, all He did to offer us eternal Life after we rejected it in eden. the Bible itself has a simple message "Jesus is truly the Son of God, He holds all the authority and spoke the fullness of Gods Living word full of spirit and Life for those who believe.Learn His word, accept His word, and Live His word. that is the truth

Hello followJesus,

I have been reading your posts and trying to figure out what it is that you are proclaiming. So, without the rhetoric and rambling, please state specifically, and without writing a book, what you attempting to say. Part of your title "Pauls distorted" would appear that you do not believe that Paul was appointed as an apostle of Jesus Christ by the God Father, that Paul was caught up to the third heaven and received numerous visions and revelations directly from God. My point being that, whatever we are reading in scripture, regardless of who the writer is, God is the author.

If you are speaking against Paul as being a genuine apostle, I would remind you of what the Holy Spirit said through Peter regarding those who did not consider the writings of Paul as the word of the Lord:

"He (Paul) writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction."

Notice that in the scripture above that Peter recognized Paul's writings as wisdom from God and as scripture. The words of all of the apostles are the words of the Lord. And also notice that those who believe and teach such things, do so to their own destruction.

All scripture is God-breathed -

Totally agree....his view seems to deny the inspiration of God upon the men who penned the scriptures.

I can't think of anyone that would disagree with that statement.

27 Then the chief captain came, and said unto him, Tell me, art thou a Roman? He said, Yea.
28 And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born.
Acts 22:27-28

If not mistaken, a free born Roman was born of a free born Roman parents, otherwise they would be 'freeman' as well as citizens of Rome, but the designation as a free born Roman could only be obtain by birth from free born Roman parents who themselves were born of free born Roman parents.

But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: Acts 23:6

As a Pharisee, he would have been born of the [FONT=&quot]Hebrew [/FONT]tribe of Levi. (See;[Matthew 23:1-7] [John 1:38])John 3:10

9 But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?
10 Then said Paul, I stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.
Acts 25:9-10

All scripture is God-breathed -

Yes, but which God, Caesar or the LORD?

26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.
27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
Acts 9:26-27

Since Paul would have obviously read the OT, then if faith does come by hearing and hearing by reading the word of God then as a Roman why he persecute those who believed in the Son of God since Augustus was the 'Divi Filius' being the Son of God according to Roman authority.

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Romans 2:16
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law (of truth), then Christ is dead in vain. Gal 2:21
Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:2 Tim 2:8
(Joseph, thou son of David,Matt 1:20)

Isn't it written that the no prophesy of scriptures is of any private interpretation?

15 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.
16 But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.
17 Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not.

I always thought it was a cute mistake.

My wife mixes up words and combine words to make different ones all the time. I know what she means and I try to tell her what the real word she meant to use is but she just looks at me and says "well did you know what I meant?"... Yes, but will everyone else? Probably.

I have problems... If I could just be quiet most of the time I would probably be ok. Sometimes my mouth gets going and then my brain engages. Like a centrifugal clutch.

Orb guy, that's a good one  Anyway that's a Son dial not an orb.

Inspired? Well, let's examine the origin of the word itself. The origin of speech is considered by many believers to be a natural manifestation of man's creation and is reflective only upon the physical and has nothing to do with any gift of speaking in tongues or the spirit. Likewise, the ability communicate using the written spoken word is considered also to have developed naturally from man's own wisdom and reasoning.

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Job 32:8

So from Job 2:11 it is presented that the three friends of Job, whom the LORD had put in the hand of Satan, came to comfort him.

Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

So if Job, whom the LORD said was perfect didn't make the statement in verse 32:8, which one of his friends made the statement in Job 32:8?

Job 38:1-2
38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

"And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath." Job 42:7

im not here to cater to you, to specify anything to any one person. if you dont want to read...simply dont read its not a conundrum, its solved very simply, if my post is too long for your liking, dont read them. I am what I am, I write How i write. if it doesnt work for you, God bless you, and I hope you are able to find people Here who speak in the same ways as yourself. im nothing speacial, other folks here, know the same things i know, i havent read many of your posts, but im sure you also have some good knowledge. but if i were to read your post, i wouldnt then ask you to change how you write the th9ings you write. i hope you dont take this wrong, theres a difference in being straight forward, and bieng rude. im just trying to be up front. im not going to alter How i write, i realize i ramble, thats something i used to fight, now i just go with it.

no one on this entire site needs to come to my posts, theres alot of great posts that i have nothing to do with, alot of people here that are much more concise and stay in a straight Line with thier words. I write in the way i write, i appologize if that doesnt communicate well to you, but i am what i am and write as i write and no one needs to believe or agree with me its a free site which is great, because if i dontfind understanding or value in someones post, i just move on until i do find something that may bear fruit.

Just to be clear Yes all scripture is God breathed and useful for learning ect...But Jesus is the Lord, and there is no other, therefore His words are above the rest. thats my point there is order that Beloings in scripture. and no, im not sayng that say moses, or job, or daniel or anyone wasnt inspired By Gods spirit in any way, im saying Jesus Christ and His words are eternal Life, a person can put thier faith in say moses, and try for eternal Life, but they wont get there because moses never even spoke about eternal Life. Jesus words are more than all the others, because He is.
