Because Jehovah as He has done in time past will take rebellious and stiff-necked Israel and through chastisement will bring them to Christ. They will look upon Him whom they have pierced and mourn. The tribulation will be upon Israel to bring them back to God. The whole world will be involved but it is Israel that will receive correction and will see their Messiah descending from the clouds and recognize Him and be saved.
where does it say this? Not Rev 1-7. There they wail because of Him as judgment comes on them.

As the Gentile church we need to get over ourselves. Israel will be blessed and we will rejoice in Jehovah blessing them
.

I am in a church which is neither Jew nor Gentile (Gal 3.28). I have been made one with all ex-jewish and ex-gentile believers in the church of God. As with Israelites who believe. We are no longer strangers and sojourners but have all become fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God. (eph 2.11-22).

If not you may not be part of the church. Self examination time you know.

Jesus' Side is Pierced
…36Now these things happened so that the Scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of His bones will be broken.” 37And, as another Scripture says: “They will look on the One they have pierced.” 38Later on, Joseph of Arimathea, who was a disciple of Jesus (but secretly for fear of the Jews), asked Pilate’s permission to take away the body of Jesus. Pilate granted it, so he came and removed His body.…

I've never understood why someone would think that was a future event. As you just showed, scripture tells us it's fulfilled already.

Zechariah 12:10
"I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.

DONE ^^^ they looked upon him and mourned him; and the Holy Spirit was poured out on Israel at Pentecost. then the gentiles were called

Replacement Theology is simply put, a heresy.
It states that the Church has replaced Israel completely and they no longer have any position in the eyes of God.

To believe replacement theology would invalidate many eschatological prophecies.
The belief in replacement theology has given way to antisemitism and hate of Israel by the world and even in the church. As God tells us, do not boast against the original branches.

I don't know anyone who thinks God has cast Israel entirely aside - jews can be saved today just like always.

Replacement theology leads to antisemitism and holocaust denial.

Dear Lord, let Your Spirit be revealed in Truth and sound doctrine. In Jesus Name I pray.

The Zionist mind control is almost impossible to break.
When discussing Zionism one treads a very sensitive path which is woven between Jewish Political aspirations with roots in the 19th Century and Biblical beliefs. One fact that seems to be overlooked is that there was a large Jewish population existing quite amicably with those who are now known as Palestinians in the region under Turkish rule up until the defeat and disintegration of the Ottoman Empire after WW1. Modern Israel did not suddenly appear miraculously overnight in 1948. Politics had a very large role to play in its creation.

I can't prove it, but I believe the Palestinians that Zionist Rothschild Jews are killing are the true descendants of Israel.

Then you feel that Jews (though they have no faith, whatsoever, in Christ Jesus) are members of His kingdom? Despite their animosity toward Him?... their denying He is the Son of God?

Have you never heard of Messianic Jews?

As I recall, there was an "AGREEMENT", not open-ended promises. An agreement (Covenant) requires the upholding of prescribed stipulations by BOTH parties, or it is null and void.

The New Covenant was made with Israel. We as gentiles are grafted in.

How do you see this verse, in such case?

1 Thessalonians 2:16

"...with the result that they [Jews] always fill up the measure of their sins. But wrath has come upon them to the end."

I could not find any English translations which says "to the end", I do not know why. They use "utmost" which I do not understand what it is.

But you can verify that in Greek there is "to the end".

Strong's Greek: 5056. τέλος (telos) -- an end, a toll
1 Thessalonians 2:16 Greek Text Analysis
Hi Trofimus,

We can't take a scripture out of its context. We need to read before and after to be able to know what the text is saying. So let's being with 14.

14
For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, for you also endured the same sufferings at the hands of your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews,
15 who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out. They are not pleasing to God, but hostile to all men, 16 hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved; with the result that they always fill up the measure of their sins. But wrath has come upon them to the utmost.

The nation of Israel isn't the subject here. Paul is speaking of a group of Jews. It's the group of Jews that killed the Lord, the prophets and drove Paul out. It's that group of Jews that Paul's talking about. They are the type of religious Jew - like the scribes and Pharisees who were hypocrites. Those are the ones spoken of here, not the nation of Israel.

Hi Valiant,

In
Zechariah 12

6 On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.7 “And the Lord will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not surpass that of Judah. 8 On that day the Lord will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the Lord, going before them. 9 And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn. 11 On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great as the mourning for Hadad-rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. 12 The land shall mourn, each family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the Shimeites by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14 and all the families that are left, each by itself, and their wives by themselves.

It really has no bearing what you believe. We can all believe many things that aren't true. The reason you can't prove what you're saying is because it's an opinion, not truth or you could easily prove it.

Really??? That's totally false... non Jews cannot be Israelites

Bottom line... those that curse Israel (as in supporting Palestinians) are cursed as God said that in the OT and He never changes. He still loves Israel and it's the apple of His eye.

I'd be very, very careful if I were you on supporting the Palestinians over the Jews.

My seminary prof used to say, "There is no Plan B for the Jews."

In other words, we are all saved by grace through faith!
