The answer is so simple,KJV 2Timothy2;11-12 11. It is a faithful saying; for if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him; 12.If we suffer, we shall also reign with him;if we deny him, he also will deny us; Of course,we shall reign with him in the Heaven. Thanks the Lord for opportunity to follow him where ever he may go.

Heaven is synonymous with the Kingdom of God. Jesus preached about it and so did John the Baptist. Jesus said " 5Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. " ( John 3)

The gospel - loving Jesus

1. Conviction of sin, they were cut to the heart
2. Repentance, turning from sin to walk in righteousness,
3. Faith in Christ and the cross, for the forgiveness of sins
4. Obedience and walking in Jesus's way.

“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”
When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
Acts 2:36-39

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.
Acts 2:42-43

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Matt 11:29-30

Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them."
John 14:23

I can believe and walk in these things yet emotionally I am still a wreck.
This is where sanctification and through obedience we change.
We become what we sow, we are the building of the work Jesus leads us into.
The wreck we are is the building the world made without God in our lives, which Jesus
will reform and remold as we walk.

Halleluyah He has saved us to know His presence and love in our lives everyday.

It appears some here do not know these realities in their lives even though they have
spent all their lives in church. It proves though you can be very religious, it does not
necessarily change your heart, unless you let love in.

All we know is where were we are, and the keys to progress can be very illusory.

#4 Obedience? How much obedience? At what point of obeying are you saved? Obedience to what? Do you ever have peace knowing for sure that when you die you'll be in the presence of the Saviour?

Do you understand the difference between a slave who could be executed if they do the
wrong thing, and a child who is learning how to walk?

A slave has no choices, is owned and has no clue to their future.

A child is being shown how to live, and knows their parents are in loving support of them.

The spirit of your question is, obedience justifies you rather than Jesus is obedience, the
fruit of fellowship with Him.

If you love people, why would you harm them? If you see the good you want to sow into
someones life, why would you take for your own ends?

And in love there is only peace and joy. Do you not know this in your heart?
Has Jesus embraced you, and in the deepest part of who you are, do you know
God says you are His?

My son once said to me, Jesus has not spoken to me.

On his desk was the bible.

What he wanted was an audible voice and a conviction in his heart.

The problem was he had the words in the bible, but not the faith to hear them.
He wondered if what he was doing was what God wanted him to do.

The bible told him what Jesus wanted him to do. Was he doing all God said
he should do, and was he honouring the Lord? Yes. So what more did he need.

We are so often deaf to the very thing Jesus has already said. Would repeating
it audibly make a difference or become a distraction from the very word He has
given?
