i do also lol. i thoink sometimes as a whole we forget that sin is not universal in the new covenant, but rather between the believer, and the Lord, and His word works through our conscience as it searches our hearts and minds as Hebrews says " it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" sometimes we forget that paul taught " when a man Knows what is rightm and doesnt do it, then to him it is sin" and also " whatever does not come from faith, is sin" faith again is something that is personal and comes from within us through the word. One person may not understand the same as another whos been at it longer, and we are each held to our own standard of Knowledge, faith and conscience. we sometimes revert to the old covenant mindset thinking " if i cant have Long hair, im supposed to condemn the other Guy for having long hair" but thank God we are not, because i have enough of a handful monitoring my own deficiences in Living up to the gospel, and im glad Jesus instructs us firt to make sure were in Line, before we go correcting the other guy on His Life. << I believe this is designed so that no one will ever Judge the other Guy, maybe not but ive spoent years and years in the gospel and each day i study it, i find another thing to work on in myself.
As soon as I read "I thoink" I started laughing lol.. But yea man I agree. So let's say if one man thinks its a sin to play violent videogames and another man doesn't, is it that none of them are wrong?

1 Corinthians 11:14 - Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

I don't get it.. A lot of the time people that share their testimony say they encounter Jesus and say He has long hair usually around shoulder-length.. I've heard a good amount of people say that so I doubt every single one of them is lying. Is this verse really translated in English correctly? All the drawn pictures of Jesus from waaayyy back in time have Him with long hair. Did they really draw Him like that for no reason? In nature, a lion has a mane (long hair) and a lioness doesn't. We all know God represents Himself as a lion.
I don't get it either really. I usually think it's because I'm not seeing the spirit of the matter and am only seeing it humanly and literally. It's obviously (to me anyway), tied into the garden. They were both ashamed when they saw they had no covering. I always wish someone would speak on the spirit of a confusing verse or passage, if they have been given any insight. We know the words are spirit because God is Spirit but it is too easy to just see the letter because we are spiritually dull.

Believe me dude I'm the type of person that doesn't look good with super short hair because of the shape of my head. My head isn't huge or anything but I just look better with longer hair.
I'm not crazy about the shape of my head, either, but I think it's more dignified to have short hair, if you are a man.

I don't think Jesus had long hair bc when Judas went to betray him they couldn't differentiate on who was Jesus since they all looked alike ig. Judas could've just pointed out the guy with lengthy hair but instead he betrayed him with a kiss. I don't believe it is a sin to have long hair it's just not 'masculine' for a man to have bc of the maintenance he needs to have to take care of it which could limit him from doing other things.

The verse simply means that in nature males look like males, and females look like females. And they don't try to look or act like the opposite sex.

True but where does long hair originate from except but from nature of man whom God made. So did scissors originate from nature or from God?

but maybe Jesus and the disciples all had long hair? Or not all of them but maybe some did and some did not. Could be that they just had similar faces/clothing.

yeah I think its natural and ok for a man to have long hair as long as he doesn't get girly about it.

What was considered long when i was a boy was considered short when my boys were getting haircuts. Who knows what length is addressed.

Long hair makes a man androgynous.

If another man sees you and gets aroused by you, before realizing that you are a man, then something unnatural has occurred.

That is all.

Not all men with long hair look girly. When a guy has long hair it usually looks boyish still. like there is usually a clear difference between male long hair and female long hair. Sometimes a man with long hair does have really girly looking hair though.
