SOME PERSON ASKED ME IN SOME OTHER FORUM..
QUESTION : Christmas Eve Dinner is very special in our house. We always have dinner by candlelight and use our best china when we are at home. What will you be doing for Christmas Eve this year?

MY REPLY IS HERE......

CHRISTMAS = CHRIST + MAS (MAS = worship)
Jesus is born in our hearts.. every day is celebration..
if Jesus is born in Bethlehem and not born in our hearts what is the use?
We need to born again in spirit ..
So traditional festival is not use
Spiritual festival is life long
Jesus is born again in our hearts..

DINNER : Jesus is born to die for us,....
Mat 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
Mat 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Joh 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
Joh 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
So we need to stop the feasts of world
every person need to born again and need to break bread to eat and drink in the table of Jesus..

CANDLE LIGHT ; Jesus said .. ye are the light of the world
we need to shine..
Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
we need to shine.. not to keep and live in darkness
BRETHREN Past is past
we are not traditional people.. we are new creature in Jesus
need to fallow the truth and fundamentals..
not like worldly people.... pl think,,
FOR ME I AM REJOICING EVERY DAY AND CELEBRATING EVERY DAY.. BECAUSE I AM LIVING IN JESUS..
GOD BLESS YOU ALL

I appreciate your intention. But Christmas is a worldly holiday, a day that the world recognizes that God gave us the most precious gift- His Son. And so we give good gifts to others because we mimic God's love to us. This wonderful, peaceful joy is nothing new to Christians- for we feel it all year round. To a Christian, everyday is Christmas, and every Sunday is Easter.

December 25th is not Jesus' birthday. They were just as far from the equator as I am- they had winter, spring, summer, and fall. The Bible even gives the example of how you know leaves turn color and fall, so it will be in the end days. I know that the shepherds, who were laying in the field did not have snow suits. The sheep were grazing in the grass- it may have been summber.

But it doesn't matter, any day is a good to celebrate anything about Christ- His birth, His resurrection, His wonderful message. We are not commanded to assemble together on Christmas Day. We are commanded to assemble together upon the first day of the week and partake of the Lords Supper.

It is ok to have earthly holidays and traditions (as long as they are not evil) such as birthday parties and the 4th of July. But they are not a commanded mandatory religious practice.
