Gods brainwashing or Gods path to life

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Listen to Jesus words. If you are tired of this life, want a way to resolve the issues
of existance, come to Him. Listen to Him, learn from Him, He is gentle and kind, and
will wait and work with you, and you will find real rest. The actual lessons are not
complex or difficult, but they must be done, and do not cause a big weight on your life.

Now I have come across people who use this kind of language
"Stop" "No" "Always you" "Never do" "That is wrong"

These are closed, abrupt statements, often to shock and cause submission, a parent to
child type of language.

In hypnosis one of the key strategies is get people to relax, then shock them for an
instant, followed by a command for sleep and taking control.

People told me with the right preacher I would be brilliant, and theology, that is what I
needed. And these people were buy in to the right lens or view, we are right and all
the rest are wrong. No questioning, only submission and towing the line, stay positive
and speak out you needs and they will come to pass.

But this is rebellion against God and submission to another force and spirit behind these
teachers. It is always a web-site, or a special teacher, or a certain perspective, never
the bible, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

And if you question or want foundations to their teaching, you are evil, a demon, not
saved, an enemy, an anti-Christ, a legalist, a negative influence or anything else to
make you seem disruptive and against anything good, which they obviously are.

What they do not realise, when they meet the people of God, none of this works,
because we have one Lord, one shepherd and we know His voice.

I raised this thread because it seemed to me we as followers of Jesus are in a unique
place. The Lord wishes to teach us.

"learn of me"

He teaches us. So we need to listen, understand and put into practice.

It is also interactive. The Lord supplies examples galor, success, failure, honesty, lying,
plain "I do not like your approach" to your are wonderful God.

" Fear the Lord your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name."
Deut 6:13

Out allegiance is to the Lord alone. Only people who speak His word can
get our attention.

The enemy will always challenge this, and bring words that contradict this allegiance
either to man as in a teacher or to self, as in to something that meets only selfish desire or
ambition.

So a false teacher will ask for your allegiance, at which point they are talking against God.
It is a subtle spiritual break with God, but it is very real.

So people will use words like "No" "Stop" "This is not acceptable" "That is wrong"
"You lied" "You never answer" "You always twist" "You are evil" "You cannot do this"

Now these are all commands, or accusations, or slanders or taking a position of authority
and talking down to someone as if they are bound to obey.

But something is wrong. People are issuing opinions, perspectives, attempts to understand.
Everything is summarised, and has its compromises etc. People come with integrity and
a desire to learn, to show respect, to be open and honest.

There is an attempt to provoke a defensive and aggressive response, and to create tumult.
Then the blame for this is placed on the other party, to try and take away their respect and
position, without defeating their real standing or logic, but playing the body not the subject.

And Jesus says, forgive, turn the other cheek, bless, because it stops this evil. It stops this
lie dead in its tracks. And the people who do this, do not know our Lord.
Because we do not need to do this because we know the creator and His ways are the ways
of life.

do not go out; or, ​

‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ ​

do not believe it.
For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

I am rejoicing. The Lord is good, unbelievably good, and whatever people do,
the Lord is good.

I am always impressed by Stephen,

“Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”
Acts 7:56

The testimony of God become man, and the cross is everything. It is glorious, a joy to
behold that such love for me would drive my saviour to submit to such evil lost corrupt
men who would kill the Lord of all than face their own sin.

When you love people, you desire to see who they are and what they are doing.
The test for each one of us is how well do we know ourselves and are we searching for
approval or assurance. If we can face the enemy and know it is hatred and bitterness
that is eating his soul alive, and nothing to do with us, for no debt do we owe to him.

A person lost in the world is a slave to their history and their hurts and pain within.
Why would anyone want Jesus dead? This is the core spiritual dilemma of existence itself
and what makes us sinners or saints. It is also why taking on such fights is dangerous
if you do not know our own footing. The Lord leads us to these places to fight the fights
he has intended us to win, because it is He who provides the words and the ways, and
none can stand before Him.

I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Acts 2:25

We as a people are always the same. Though we are thrown to the lions, tortured,
cursed, rebuked, mocked, have scorn poured on us, it is our Lord whose love we bear.
Once you see this love and the life it brings nothing else matters.
