For instance, in the book of Jonah chapter 1:2, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
It seems their wickedness was brought before God by others; angels, watchmen, etc..
Habakkuk 1:13, Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
Can God look upon evil and iniquity? Scripture says no. God is too pure and holy. Did not God look away from His Son as He became sin for us on the cross? Do we really think God is looking down at all the pornography, rape, murders, and all the rest of the sinning on this earth? Something to think about.
I invite your thoughts...
