Catholicism is a false, evil religion. And Catholics are NOT Christians. Not even close. They hold rosaries, pray to Mary and ask her to intercede for them. They have statues and idols. There is only ONE intercessor, and his name is Jesus.

You just announced that Martin Luther, John Calvin, I, and some of your friends aren't Christian because of the church they attended.
Do you honestly think that the only place within the whole world that people can't be saved is the RCC? Do you honestly think that once saved they have to leave their church? I admire both Calvin and Luther because they didn't try to start a new religion. They tried to bring God back into the center of a denomination that was clearly going in the wrong direction at that time. Without that mentality, we'd probably have enough denominations by now that no more than ten people would agree to any particular set of beliefs today. In your case? Maybe a denomination of one.

I am. Apparently because I know the difference between the RCC doctrine and the variations taught to its priest, nuns, and members. I don't even recall the rosary as part of their doctrine. That's how different it is. I don't even know any Catholics that pray the rosary anymore, which is saying quite a bit, given how many Catholics I know and how many I'm related to.

Truthfully, the only reason I haven't told lolobaca anything is because I still need to know the question he wants answered. From what I see, he is sure enough about Catholicism that he left. Now he's questioning Mormonism.

As far as I know, all my friends on here are CHRISTIANS. Catholics are not Christians. And if catholics DO get saved, then why do some still remain in the catholic church and practice the church's rites and rituals? Hmmmmmmmm??? And it's NOT malarkey. Catholics DO use rosaries, they DO pray to Mary, they DO think she is their intercessor, and they DO bow down to statues and popes.
