Okay silly me, I thought this was for real. So I looked it up on the i-net and couldn't find it. The sad thing is that it's so possible to see a bible like that.

There are several different views of the bible. Some people take the whole word of God even if they don't fully understand it some people cherry pick and only believe what they want to everything else that contradicts what they believe and think is not the word of god.
I say either all of the word of God is true or none of it is, how can you call it the word of God yet choose to only believe certain parts?

I think it very distasteful to make light or fun of God's Holy Word.
Many saints have paid a great price so that we can have it today.

Exactly Blain...... If we can only believe in parts of the Bible and then only through symbols, poems and illusions how can we really believe in God or for that matter Jesus Christ and His Gospel.....oops What Gospel?????
I have decided that while they are blinded to the truth, some of them don't want anything in the way of their lifestyles.
It is so sad but Jesus tells us there will be unbelievers, false profits and false gods (idols) in the end days.
I urge all of you who are out there and are 'in Christ', to put your whole armor on and hold fast..The day is rapidly approaching where we believers will escape the coming storm on the horizon.

i can't sleep because of this post, and would like to offer an explanation and apology.
that's what my daughter says to me when i'm behaving in a certain way, and it helps me so much because i know she loves me and she says it in a partially jesting way with her sweet smile. she's telling me have a 'baditude' to help me!
but Rick has no reason to trust my love for him, as i do my daughter's for me. for that, and for the comment, i ask forgiveness.
it truly was meant to be helpful, and i ought to have seen that without the backstory, it would be taken in a different light.
i'm sorry, Rick.

I think Ricky was just looking at the irony of this because it's becoming more this way as we are entering into the end times - even large church organisations are doing it! It's a warning to us all I think, we must stand solid on God's word - the whole of it, even the bits we don't much like if we're honest.i think the majority of us believe the whole of God's Word, sweetheart.

I don't think he is making fun of the word of God...many bibles and the truth is being butchered, dumbed down, words, verses, chapters being removed and even God's name changed to other names such as Kanye West has done.....the sarcasm is directed at such works and lest we forget....sarcasm is biblical when directed at those things which contrary to God and his word.....Was it Elijah that made fun of the prophets of Baal and their false god.........?
He's not poking fun of the Bible, nor was I in my previous post. He's making a statement about people who ignore the parts of the Bible that they don't find pleasing to read. I think most people here revere the words of the Lord.
