Greetings all. this thread is to discuss law and all that entails in it and all the nuts and bolts. it will be ongoing and I'll make it as comprehensive as i can. I will also be posting various links, citations, and other sources of legal information for further review. I'm doing this for a couple reasons. 1, Its not taught in school and 2, no offense to anybody but much of what we think we know about law simply isn't so. I'll be explaining more about that later.

FTR, I am not a licensed BAR attorney, I have not attended any state sanctioned Law school. That being said I do provide private counsel on some legal matters. I specialize in estate planning and tax law. Some other areas I have a working knowledge. Its a passion of mine and continue to learn throughout the years.

I will help as much as I can and will answer all questions as best as I can and I can provide s to those interested.

One of the first things one should know is that we have a Common law System of law. If there are no question I will get started with the basics.

best regards

Since the same GOD that spoke In the old covenant Is the same GOD that speaks In the new covenant and since GOD doesn't change, should we try to keep the law and be under grace at the same time?

No.

Even though your response was more than slightly off topic. He's talking about secular law, like Boston Legal, or Perry Mason.

Not Moses.

I don't quite follow the question?

Usually, however (not always) most posters try to stay on topic... the OP (original post)

We've had a debate on strict constructionism, originalism, case law, judicial activism - and finally - common law in another thread, maybe you could provide some input?

I hope I didn't sound more rude than straightforward, but I was just saying that every member should be able to start a thread on any topic within CC's rules and those members that see the thread don't have to post In that thread:),BTW,IMO,I wish CC had a button that a member could press where,If there Is a thread In the forum that the member doesn't want to look at,they could press a button so everytime they looked at threads In a forum, they would only see the threads they like.
