Why is it when you're backed into a corner you cry UNO!

And slam down your faith card

We are not impressed.

I never played UNO but I know a little bit about the game of poker. Who is this 'we' that you are referring to?

Usually when a Christian gets stuck with presenting evidence for their claims (For example: Claiming that God does Cure cancer patients, but lacks sufficient evidence to counter the argument) The Christian may claim that faith is the key, and the questioner is left without a sufficient answer.

That's the faith card.

Hard to answer but will say this.

A miracle is a miracle. Not sure how you can prove a miracle. Only have faith in it.

I have witnessed a lady friend who had two spots on her lungs, and emphasima, and A bunch of people prayed for here. and the two spots disappeared. and the emphasima was no longer there.

Now, call it a miracle. Answer to prayer, or just medical mystery, thats up to you. But you really can not prove anything. You can only take it on faith. no matter what answer you chose.

To believe that what a Christian is saying is true you would have to have sufficient faith in the hope of evidence that is unseen that is only currently visible by the eyes of God.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for. the evidence of things not seen.

Is the definition of a miracle, the suspension of natural laws?

Well if all of this is unseen how do you distinguish natural occurrences from faith occurrences.

And why don't Christians document, these faith occurrences?

what would you call 2 spots on lungs which disappeared as if they were never there. And a disease, of which there is no cure, disappearing?

I think there are many types of miracles.

not to be rude, and please do not take it that way because i do not mean it that way, Just asking a sincere question.

But have you ever studied the bible. there are hundreds of these "faith occurances" which have been documented over many centuries.

God does still heal today.
My mom had a paralyzed leg for over a half year after a accident. Her spine was a S shape and she was told she cant have children. A missionary took her to a church where the elders blessed her with oil and prayed for her.
Now she walks and has had 2 children and still walks. The doctors were stunned and cannot explain what happened. The X rays are stunning. Now fact is.. she didnt promise herself anything from it.
God may not heal every single sick person, for whatever reason I dont know. But I know he heals.
Also hes healed me from fibromyalgia (of a very bad case too)
