I seem unable to find a church I like. I would really enjoy finding a good Bible study to attend.

The ones I have tried so far seem to be about 3 things. Singing and music, laying on hands and talking in tongues, and very little on Christ or doctrine. This is usually the combination I see.

I listen sermons and give to Grace Christian Assembly. A church in Smyrna Tennessee. I cannot attend that church because I live in Portland Oregon.

Pastor Jim calls their church a Sovereign Grace church.


I think the Baptist are pretty close but I don't know for sure.

Anyway, this command to have fellowship is something I need to start obeying.

Can any of you folks who know who Pastor Jim McCarty and Grace Christian Assembly are recommend a similar church in the Portland Oregon area.
