Can't earn a free gift.
Salvation is by works that someone earned according to someone’s belief.(work of faith)
Those who say Christ freely gives us the gift of eternal life with no contribution from one’s own self have a proper understanding to what grace is. It is not of our faith and therefore not of our works.
They who are trusting Christ alone would say we work out that which he has freely given us
Others say we must earn it (work for it) according to thier own work of faith.
Why would anyone think they could have the faith of Christ that works in us to both will and do His good pleasure in respect to their own self or someone other than Christ?
Would they who have a faith in respect to their own person not blaspheme the Holy name by which we are called heavenward?
Jam 2:1 My brethren, have not the "faith of " our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
Jam 2:7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
The Gospel of Jesus the Christ
The gospel of Jesus the Christ is the good news.
The good news of grace and truth made known to this world through
the Holy Ghost by the name above all names Jesus the Christ the first born of God
the Son of the living God the son of man given birth by woman to which came from man.
For it is written in the Holy Bible...
the scriptures of truth inspired by God.
In the beginning was the Word
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him;
and without him was not any thing made that was made.
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
Which were born of God.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
and that wicked one toucheth him not.
Have you received the Word?
If you will receive the Word
God will give you power to become a son of God.
And if you become a son of God by that power
You will become born of God.
And if you become born of God
You will cease from doing sin.
If we say we have sin and say we are born of God
then we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
When Christians tell you they still sin and are born of God...
they are liars. They are not born of God.
When preachers tell you
that even though you are born of God you will still sin....
they are liars. You are not born of God.
For it is written...

Satan never wants you to believe or know
that by grace through faith in Jesus Christ

The reason Christians do not want to believe they can
live without committing sin is because they love there sins
more than God.

You call it earn i call it a reward... you have to earn peoples trust........ you dont just give trust away to whoever decide to call upon the lord...
baptism washes you clean but it doesnt give you the final reward it saves you but doesnt give the final reward,,, that is earned according to your deeds...

Now when i say earned i mean doing good works the works of christ.
if you have done Good all your life then you have earned the right to be with christ in his kingdom..
Jesus christ defeated sin in the flesh and earned the right to be called the true messiah he earned the right to be called holy... he earned the right to change the way we are saved.. he earned the right for all mankind to follow him..

Its really not good practice to draw one conclusion from one sentence jesus said you must believe and this is a good work.. its also the start of the rest of your good works,,,, believing is not enough,,,, practicing what you preach is,, dieing to self daily is believing...
Doing good works is believings...
Keeping the faith to the end is believing...

yep youve been saved your with christ, no denying that,,, and theres no denying you can remain with him until the end when your time comes to be judged,,, where you may recieve your due... which is what my whole argument has been about.... there are many here claiming they have allready recieved there Due,,, which is just a false gospel a lie from the pits of hell..sorry to be blunt but it is..
I see the blind still view salvation as a reward instead of a gift.....let's just chunk what the Bible states....that if it is based upon work (a reward) it is no longer GRACE.......going to be a lot of people (plenteous in number) who get cast into the proverbial lake-o-fire because they in error believed they could EARN salvation by works......

This verse doesn't apply to you. It is for saved individuals.
The Bema seat of Christ is for saved persons only. And their works are evaluated at the Bema seat of Christ.
In your present condition, this is the Throne that you will be standing before...

(faith comes from the believer its not given its only lost by the believer he may give you hope...).
(he certainly does why wouldnt he if you where lost) but is your faith strong enough to listen).
(he does that to in the hope you will come to your sences.).
(he does if you have earned it.) god blesses those who blesses his,,, god enlightens those who seek knock. etc..
(he does this to but you still havent had your due according to the truth...
(he justifies your faith and he justifies your final judgement... which you should hope that its good..).

1. That is the BEMA seat. that is a reward ceremony, where people who worked hard and ran the race to be rewarded.. That is not a judgment seat for punishment,, Some at this ceremony do not even get a reward.. But they are still there.
2. That is different from the great white thrown judgment, Where EVERYONE is goes will be cast to outer darkness..

It stems from the following I guess....
At the 7th trump the saints, those that fear God young and old are REWARDED
After the 1000 year reign the books are opened and the lost judged by the BOOKS (my view the 5 books of the law and book of life)
Having said that...Jesus does say the sheep will be separated to the right from the goats on the left.....
