it's interesting that you used the word opposition , since you are in opposition to the Biblical definition of sin, and also in opposition to the reality that no one, including you, by using those clearly defined definitions is sinless.

there is your opposition.
gb9 - You again have expressed your opposition. Whatever I express you will oppose it, because
fundamentally you believe you are saved in sin.

YOUR doctrine is flawed. GOD's doctrine is accurate. And God's doctrine does NOT say "whoever KEEPS believing on me is saved".

However, the doctrine of PHart states exactly that..

The word 'believe' is in the present tense. Can you explain how it is that one presently believes without continuing to believe, as if they are two different things?

Now I can't tell if you are presently in 'H-grace OSAS' mode, or 'Calvinist OSAS' mode, lol, so I don't know which argument to address, but what is clear from this and other verses is it is only the believing person (present tense) who presently has eternal life. If you stop believing you no longer fulfill the qualification of the one who Jesus said presently has eternal life. So you can go one of two ways with this: You can say the true believer never stops believing, or else he was never a true believer to begin with, and therefore always fulfills the condition for having eternal life, or, the person who stops believing still has eternal life despite the fact that he no longer believes and is not presently believing (which is a joke).

It's easy to see the Calvinist OSAS argument is by far the only reasonable one of the two (the true believer can't stop believing), but that makes passages like Hebrews 10:26-31 meaningless. And of course we can instantly discount any argument that says ex-believers will enter into the kingdom of God. So that's out. But in my doctrine (you are saved as long as you are believing) all the scriptures about eternal life and believing, and the warnings about what will happen if you stop believing come into perfect harmony and in no way cancel out or nullify one another.

Ok guys. You think to keep believing is not important.

So Jesus did not need to pray for Peter that he might keep the faith?

I do not understand to any degree that you have understood what Jesus is talking about.
Being alive, being real, knowing the difference between that which hurts and is destructive and
accidents, or mistakes. The Lord has no problem with mistakes, it is the impure heart that destroys
others and themselves is His concern.

Your view is it does not matter at all, belief magically makes everything ok, even though it does
not. It is like winning the lottery ticket and never cashing it in, or finding out your leg that is
broken can be fixed but never getting it fixed, or knowing your family love you, but never actually
talking to them. It is pointless and in real terms, may as well not exist. Jesus died to build a holy
nation, not a bunch of miss fits.

The parable about going to the wedding feast is cleaning yourself up, putting on the right clothes
and attending the feast. You guys want to turn up however you like and you think He will invite
your in. This has never been about earning your salvation, it has always been about becoming
part of the kingdom, and clearly, some have no idea what this means.

However, the doctrine of PHart states exactly that..
blue - When Jesus says He will save those who believe in Him, He means it.
If in the end, when push came to shove, you cared not a fig about Jesus, He
will care not a fig about you.

The idea of being rejected is blunt, but we are not talking about a little friendship
tiff, but life and death, heaven and hell, righteousness and evil.

The fact, and I say fact, that so many are happy to literally contradict the Lord
shows their spiritual state and bankruptcy. Either you love the Lord and walk in
His ways or you do not. There is no middle way of maybe, for a while, that is ok.

The Kingdom of heaven is very different from the Kingdom of this world, but you
guys have no concern over this, and mix the two as if God does not care, when
the Lord declares the exact opposite.

And please, this is not me speaking, but the Lord Himself.

"Be Holy because I am Holy"

Do not play games with the King, because He does not play games.
The point is He has nothing to prove, you do.

When genuine tongue talking believers abandon the faith we know that it isn't just fake believers who fall away into a rejection of Christ.

Don't project your experience with God onto every other Christian. Just because you're strong in your believing doesn't mean every other believer is too. But I know that is a tendency of our fallen nature to project our feelings and experiences onto others in a judgmental kind of way. A big, big step of spiritual maturity for me was to stop doing that. That sent my growth in the agape way of God's love to an all new level.
So that is why you think you are born again, and show no real signs of it.

NO, we know they fell for a counterfeit so-called Gift and NEVER HAD THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE.

The TRUE GIFT OF TONGUES, always was spoken in front of UNBELIEVING JEWS, and those unbelieving Jews always heard in their own NATIVE DIALECT (correct down to the ACCENT), as the DISCIPLES proclaimed the MIGHTY WORKS OF GOD, to those unbelieving JEWS. ANYTHING LESS THAN THAT, is a COUNTERFEIT of the real Gift of Tongues.

Here come the stones, for telling the TRUTH.

Acts 2:1-11 (HCSB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] When the day of Pentecost had arrived, they were all together in one place.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Suddenly a sound like that of a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were staying.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] And tongues, like flames of fire that were divided, appeared to them and rested on each one of them.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] Then they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different languages, as the Spirit gave them ability for speech.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] There were Jews living in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] When this sound occurred, a crowd came together and was confused because each one heard them speaking in his own language. {dialektos - a language correct including the dialect and accent}
[SUP]7 [/SUP] And they were astounded and amazed, saying, “Look, aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans?
{Galileans were known to have a THICK accent, yet they had no Galilean accent when they spoke in the hearer's dialektos.}
[SUP]8 [/SUP] How is it that each of us can hear in our own native language?
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Parthians, Medes, Elamites; those who live in Mesopotamia, in Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,
[SUP]11 [/SUP] Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking the magnificent acts of God in our own languages.”

The Jewish true Believers with Peter DID NOT BELIEVE GOD WOULD SAVE THE GENTILES THE SAME WAY HE DID THE JEWS, who had listened to Peter's sermon the DAY GOD SAVED 3000 of them. THUS, those Disciples with Peter were the UNBELIEVING JEWS who heard in their own native dialect and accent at the house of Cornelius.

Acts 10:45-47 (NASB)
[SUP]45 [/SUP] All the circumcised believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.
[SUP]46 [/SUP] For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter answered,
[SUP]47 [/SUP] "Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?"

It had to happen IDENTICALLY THE SAME WAY IT HAPPENED the DAY of Pentecost, OR the JEWS WOULD HAVE CONCIDERED IT A COUNTERFEIT OF WHAT THE APOSTLES DID. SO the Mighty Wind, the Tongues of Fire, and the Gentiles had to be speaking to the disciples who did not believe the Gentiles could be saved, thus they too heard the magnificent acts of GOD in their own dialectos.

Notice how the so-called Charismatic tongues, PALES in comparison. It is a false yardstick to measure and confirm those who are born again.

Keeping the faith, and keeping believing for the sole purpose of staying saved, are two different things. No one here has said that keeping believing isn't important. They say that it's NOT necessary to do in order to keep salvation.. Did Peter keep believing in Jesus in order to keep himself saved? NOPE.. Then on the other hand, he also believed he would never betray Jesus, and look what happened there.. :/

To use your examples, I happen to have a lottery (scratch off) ticket that I haven't cashed in yet, after 2 years. But I believe I'll be getting 1 dollar from it when I do. :) I also have a disease that I believe will get healed someday, though probably not in my earthly lifetime. AND, I know my family loves me, even though we hardly ever talk. How do I know that? I know it from the way that they say "I love you" when I end a phone call with them. I also believe that they love me, because I'm their daughter and sister, and family always loves each other.

Jesus did not die to build a nation. He died for all the sinners of the world, including you. :) To use your term, He died for all us misfits. Think about it, Jesus was sort of a misfit. So why wouldn't He want to save other misfits? :)

Jesus doesn't care what we wear when we come to Him. Whether we're in clothes, pajamas, covered in mud or butt nekkid.. He doesn't care what our sins are, He only cares about saving us.. There is no "right" way to come to Jesus. You just go as you are. :)

Hello DiscipleDave, the post that you, "dug up", is 3 weeks old. It makes me feel uncomfortable that you need screen through my previous postings for what ever reason. Therefore I am giving you and this thread "Notice" that you are going on to my "Ignore List" Peace to you.......
How sad. ignoring me because i do not answer as fast as they would like. Seriously? i am not able to get on as much as i would like. When i do get on, it might be a week later or two weeks later or three weeks later. i believe it is a Godly thing to do to try to answer anyone who replies to me. So when i get on three weeks later, i will still answer any any post addressed to me, and this is the reason i am put on ignore, Seriously?
Didn't put me on ignore for cussing
Didn't put me on ignore for hating
Didn't put me on ignore for teaching filth, lies, or the such
Didn't put me on ignore because i teach contrary to Scriptures
Didn't put me on ignore because i belittled, called names, or degraded anyone.
But put me on ignore because i answered a post that was three weeks old. Really?

i think the Truth is, TruthTalk doesn't want to hear the TRUTHs which God told me to tell this generation and this is the only reason TruthTalk could come up with to put me on ignore, making themself FEEL better about doing so.
What is that to me? Do what you will. i still Love you.

i just noticed this post is a week old. i am not digging it up, i am only answering it because this is where i left off when a logged out a week ago.

You're making Jesus a liar
This is taking your interpretation of Jesus and what He means, and then saying this
is the truth, and to contradict it is to then say He is lying.

This kind of arguing is just to manufacture an insult, and accuse people of sinning
against Christ.

If someone promises you something, it is normally fairly obvious what is being promised
and the conditions around.

Jesus made lots of promises, and shows the conditions throughout His parables and the
lives of His followers. You have to be blind deaf and dumb to miss this, because the idea
of having to change and actually be something different is so abhorrent, any alternative is
so much better.

Being in a state of being unworthy, failure and a desire to walk in righteousness is where
we start. Until we walk and begin to learn this is where we stay.

It does not mean this is where we should be, it is Jesus called us to change and become
like Him, and this takes effort, perseverance, faithfulness, hope, faith, truth and love.

If this sounds like working for salvation, then my friend you have not yet understood
what salvation is and what Christ is offering. Spend more time reading His words honestly
and openly. He is not joking about failing to walk is being lost. This world is very lost and
empty, tossed to and fro by their emotions and what is popular today. So it has always
been, but in Christ things are rock steady on the things of the Kingdom.

IN the parable, both Sheep and Goats called Jesus "Lord"
Only by the Holy ghost does a person call Jesus "Lord"
The Goats who called Jesus "Lord" via the Holy Ghost, are rejected by Jesus because they did not LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
The Sheep who called Jesus "Lord" via the Holy Ghost, are accepted by Jesus because they did LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Our Savior and Lord, COMMANDED us Christians to LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
Eternal life is given to those who obey Jesus.
Those who do not LOVE ONE ANOTHER will be judged by Jesus Christ as a GOAT
Those who do LOVE ONE ANOTHER will be judged by Jesus Christ as a Sheep.

Woe to the Goats, because they think that believing in Jesus is enough (Faith ONLY) and therefore have NO WORKS. Woe to them indeed, for they take thought that because they accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord and Got SAVED, that it is impossible for them to every be blotted out of the Book of Life. Therefore they think they can live in sins, have no works, and NOT Love One Another, and they think they are still Heaven bound because they say with their mouths, they believe, but all of their actions prove otherwise. Those who Truly BELIEVE in Jesus, will be LOVING ONE ANOTHER, they will be full of Good Works, NOT to maintain their Salvation, NO!! But they will be full of Good Works, because LOVE lives inside of them. But wow to this generation who give Jesus lip service, and do NOT OBEY HIM, Jesus COMMANDED us to Love One Another. Woe to them who do not do what He COMMANDS, they are like the person who built their house on sand. But those who DO what He says (Love One Another) build their house on rock. Woe to this generation who believes a the lie that once you are Saved, you don't need any works.
Getting Saved (one time event, specific time in your life that your name is written in the Book of Life) Requires NO WORKS at all, NONE. FAITH ONLY Gets a person Saved.

Now lets talk about AFTER that specific time when a person Gets Saved, what does the Word of God teach those who are ALREADY SAVED, those who have already accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and LORD, those who already GOT SAVED, they are to DO what Jesus COMMANDS them to do, once they ARE SAVED, and that is to LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Sheep = Love One Another, full of Good Works, Maintain Good works as they are instructed to do.
Goats = Believe Faith only is enough and have NO WORKS, and do NOT do as Christ COMMANDS.

Sheep = Believe in Jesus AND Good Works prove who is in their hearts.
Goats = Believe in Jesus AND don't need to do anything else, not even obey Jesus.

Woe to this Generation indeed. The Sheep are taken up with Jesus. The Goats are left behind weeping and gnashing their teeth, because they Failed to hear the voice of their Master when the TRUTH was given to them by His servants.

i don't agree with your understanding of goats and sheep. And I don't think you are flexible.
You don't agree with Him who revealed the interpretation thereof. Your right, i am not flexible, what He revealed to me is the TRUTH. Tell me, what is YOUR understanding of it?

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9

We are from the gutter, the lost, the rejected, the empty, those who had nothing.
Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I tell you,[d] none of those men who were invited shall taste my banquet.
Luke 14:23-24

You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
1 Cor 6:19-20

But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ For many are called, but few are chosen.
Matt 22:11-14

The sad thing is people know some scripture and extend it beyond where it should
go not seeing the truths that Jesus has laid down.

We are called to be worthy of the great gift He has given us, not to earn it, but
to fulfill that which it was called into being.

GETTING Saved = No Works whatsoever, Faith ONLY is enough to GET SAVED.
Once you ARE SAVED = Faith and Works. This is what Scriptures plainly teaches as well.

But here is the TRUTH. Those who do not like to DO good works, or lacks Good Works, are the first ones to say they are NOT NEEDED if Christ lives inside of you.

What person, if Christ lives in them, would not have MANY Good Works?

Those who have no works, are they that yell the loudest that works are not required.

TRUE Works are not Required to GET SAVED, but they are required once YOU ARE SAVED. Feed the hungry, give to those in need, clothe the naked, visit the sick, help people, give to people, LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Kingdom of Heaven People are they that are FULL of Good works, NOT to get Saved, NOT to remain Saved, Kingdom of Heaven People have MANY Good Works, because they ARE SAVED, Jesus Christ (LOVE) lives inside of Kingdom of Heaven People, and they are FULL of Good Works. That is the TRUTH.

But woe to this generation who profess that Jesus lives in them, and they have NO Works at all. LOVE does not spill out of them like a river that can't be stopped. NO these give Christ lip service, and have NO WORKS at all. It is written your Actions prove where your heart is. THERE IS MORE TO IT THAN JUST REQUIRED. The ability to LOVE GOD, and LOVE JESUS, manfesting that LOVE by Striving to continually Walk in Obedience as an ACT of LOVE; was never in us until we were BORN AGAIN. I think the most OVER-LOOKED verse in the Bible by Preachers Preparing their Sermons is ROMANS 5:5.

Romans 5:5 (HCSB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] This hope will not disappoint ⌊us⌋, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Out of that LOVE SPAWNS, everything else, including Obedience.

THAT GODLY LOVE COMING OUT OF OUR HEARTS IN THE FORM OF A SINCERE DESIRE TO STRIVE TO OBEY, IS WHY JESUS CAN SAY:

John 14:15 (HCSB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] “If you love Me, you will keep My commands.
Those who love Jesus WILL Keep His Commandments. Many claim to Love Jesus and do NOT keep His Commandments. And this is His Commandment that we Love One Another.
Those who Love One Another love Him
Those who do NOT Love One Another deny Him (Jesus is LOVE, if you fail to Love Another, you fail Jesus)

I'm not trying to insult anyone, but the truth is this. Jesus did not say, "all those who KEEP believing in Me for the purpose of keeping thy salvation are saved".. NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE does it say anything even remotely close..

He says that all who BELIEVE shall be saved. Today is the present. Tomorrow is in the future today, but tomorrow, shall be in the present.. My belief today, shall be the same belief tomorrow and every day after that. :) Why? Because my faith and God's grace are proof.

This is taking your interpretation of Jesus and what He means, and then saying this

I added you to "Ignore" because you are too judgmental and condescending.

Like this: "God told me to tell this generation"

I am what you think I am
And what if that is the TRUTH. That God has had many conversations with me when i was younger, and told me to teach those things which He told me to a generation who would not hear it?

i even asked Him. If You already know they will not hear me, why tell them? He then told me. "So they will have no cloak for their sins, they will not be able to stand before me on Judgment Day and say they did not know, they can't plead ignorance" So then i tell you the TRUTH, you hear it in your ears. You reject it as the Truth. Not God's fault you reject the TRUTH, which i plainly tell you comes from HIM. But because this generation does not believe God speaks to people today, even though it is written God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. YOU do not believe He speaks to people.

When i was younger, i would have a whole list of questions to ask Him, when He chose to speak to me again. i would ask Him the questions that i had prepared and He answered every one of them. Before i was 12 years old, i had read the entire Bible front to back three times. i had many questions to ask Him concerning His Word, and the interpretations thereof. So when He did start talking with me, i had many questions to ask Him. And He answered them all. He has not spoken to me since 1994 because He told me to do something that i was not willing to do at that time, He told me to "Go and sin no more" Which thing i was not willing to do. So i ran from God at that time. God then sent an Angel of God to me to get me back on track, which after talking with the Angel, is what i did. i am doing as He commanded me to do, i now do all things to please Him, i do not obey satan in anything at all. Even though i have sinned, and in no way saying that i have never sinned, i no longer continue to live in sin, i abhore sin. But even though i do all things to please Him, He has not talked with me since 1994. i weep like a baby, tearing up even as i write this. Oh if i would have just did as He commanded me, and not ran from Him. :( i have more questions to ask Him, if He ever does call upon me again.
Anyways. i teach what He told me to teach. How could i believe anything else except what God told me in conversation?
You say i am judgemental, yet do not give even one example where i have judged anyone on CC (ChristianChat) If then you call me judgemental, would it not be a Godly thing to do, to reveal the evidence that supports your accusation? You accuse me of being judgemental, show now where in any post whatsoever that i have judged anyone at all, if you are able to do so, if you can't do so, then how have you not falsely judged a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ?

I'm not trying to insult anyone, but the truth is this. Jesus did not say, "all those who KEEP believing in Me for the purpose of keeping thy salvation are saved".. NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE does it say anything even remotely close..

He says that all who BELIEVE shall be saved. Today is the present. Tomorrow is in the future today, but tomorrow, shall be in the present.. My belief today, shall be the same belief tomorrow and every day after that. :) Why? Because my faith and God's grace are proof.
Is it not written:

1Co_12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Is that True? NO person calls Jesus "LORD" except by the Holy Ghost. That is what this very plainly teaches. And this verse is from the Word of God, it is TRUE. NO PERSON can call Jesus the LORD, except by the Holy Ghost.

Luk_6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Those who believe and DO what He says are they that build a house on rock and shall stand
Those who believe and DO NOT what He says are they that build on sand and will be detroyed EVEN THOUGH THEY BELIEVE. This is confirmed in another Scripture as follows:

Mat_7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. This generation would do well to study what "Work iniquity" means.

These people call Jesus "Lord" which they could NOT DO unless by the Holy Ghost, These people call Jesus "Lord" because these people believe that He is the Lord. But what? But they do not DO what He says or commands for them to do. So these people who call Jesus "LORD" will be rejected by Jesus the very person they call "LORD" and why are they rejected, because they do not DO what He commanded them to do "Love One Another"

Jesus confirms this teaching yet again in another parable. The Parable of the sheep and goats being separated. What this generation altogether fails to read and understand is that BOTH sheep and goats call Jesus "Lord" Which they could not do if not by the Holy Ghost. This generation rationalizes that the goats are the unsaved, which is NOT TRUE. The unsaved do not call Jesus Lord. The unsaved will not stand in the judgement on that Day. Judgement Day when Christ returns is to judge all those who profess to be Christians. Goats call Jesus "Lord" these are professed Christians. the Sheep call Jesus "Lord" these also are professed Christians, but their works determine who they really are, their hearts are revealed by the works that they do, the treasures that come out of them. If they DO what Christ commands (Love One Another) these are sheep. But even if they claim to believe in Jesus but do NOT do what He commands (Fail to Love One Another) these are goats, who have built their house on sand, they believe but don't DO what He says.

The unsaved are UNSAVED and shall not stand in this judgement. (psalms 1:5)

Judgement Day is a day that judges every person who claims to believe in Jesus, their names are either written in the Book of Life, or their names have been blotted out of the Book of Life.
The Great White Throne Judgment is when the ungodly, unsaved, satan, and demons will be judged.

This generation better awake from their sleeping before it is to late, and they do not realize these Truths above.
Sheep are they that believe in Jesus and DO what Jesus commands
Goats are they that believe in Jesus and DO NOT what Jesus commands.
Sheep are they that believe in Jesus and build their house on Rock because they DO what He says.
Goats are they that believe in Jesus and build their house on sand because they do NOT DO what He says.

Scriptures are clear on this matter. But because this above does not line up with the false teaching that this generation holds on to, this above teaching will be rejected. NOT because it is contrary to Scriptures, but because it is contrary to the beliefs that you hold on to, the false doctrines that you choose to believe.

Please note, this post is not specifically to the poster but is to all those who read this post.

When a person first believes in Jesus Christ, they are Saved, their name is written in the Book of Life.
Now that person is SAVED, it depends on what they DO if they remain in the Book of Life or if they are blotted out of the Book of Life. If they DO what Jesus commands, then they will not be blotted out, if they endure to the end, they will be Judged on Judgement Day as being Saved.

People know you not that there is only ONE day that determines if you are SAVED or NOT SAVED? Right now i can, with all confidence claim "I am Saved" but it is not until Judgement Day, when the Book of Life is opened and my name is found within, that Jesus will SAVE me (Rapture me up to be with Him)
i am Saved today. i believe in Jesus with all my heart, soul, strength, and body. my name is written in the Book of Life TODAY. But if tomorrow i go and kidnap a child, molest that child, then kill that child, is my name still written in the Book of Life or would it be blotted out of it?
Oh i know the logic of this generation, that rationalizes this away by saying "Then i was not Truly Saved in the first place" How stupid is that? i believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. i believe that Jesus died on the cross for me. The Preacher told me when i came to the alter and asked Jesus Christ to forgive my sins, and i accepted Him into my heart, and the Preacher told me "You are now Saved" What? you say that i wasn't? That i was not Truly saved to begin with? Can't you see how that is an illogical argument.
Are you Saved right now? Is YOUR name written in the Book of Life right now? What then, it is not possible for you to Hate anyone in the future? Not possible for you to have unforgiveness in your heart to another in the FUTURE. Hate and Unforgiveness are two things that specifically teach if you do not forgive others neither will you be forgiven, if you hate others you do not know the TRUTH.

What i tell you in this post is the TRUTH. Those who hear the Shepherds voice (TRUTH) will receive it. Those who hold on to false doctrines will reject it because the TRUTH has no place in them, these are they that are still in bondage to sin. A sin that you can't cease from is a sin that you are in bondage to. These claim to LOVE Jesus, but obey His enemy and live in sin continually. These are goats, who call Jesus "Lord" but do not do what He COMMANDS (Love One Another)

Scriptures plainly reveal to BE SAVED is more than to just believe.

It is written if you believe in Jesus, you are Saved. This is TRUE
It is written if you call upon the name of Jesus, you are Saved. This is TRUE
It is written if you endure to the end, you are Saved. This is TRUE
It is written if you believe and are baptized, you are Saved. This is TRUE
It is written if you enter into Jesus, you are Saved. This is TRUE
It is written that we are Saved by HOPE. This is TRUE
It is written by Grace though Faith we are Saved. This is TRUE
It is written whosoever eateth His Flesh and drinks His Blood shall have Eternal Life. This is TRUE
It is written those who obey Him, have Eternal Salvation. This is TRUE

Do we pick and choose which verse gives us Salvation? That is what it seems this generation does indeed. they pick and choose only the verses which teach that believing in Jesus you are SAVED. While altogether voiding all other Scriptures which teach obeying for Salvation, calling upon His Name for Salvation, enduring to the end for Salvation.

Here is the TRUTH. ALL of them are TRUE. Every single one of those verses is what it takes to be SAVED. Those who pick and choose specific verses to believe neglect the TRUTH of all the other verses. A person says a person must only believe in Jesus to be Saved, and they know those verses by heart. But fail to understand it is written you must believe AND be baptized to be Saved. WHAT!!!! you have to do something else besides merely believing. RED FLAGS!!!! ALARMS !!!!! OH MY!!!! This generation picks and chooses which verses they decide to believe and which verses they ignore, make void, or interpret away. But the TRUTH is ALL OF THEM ARE CORRECT. Not one verse without the others.

Believing you are Saved. TRUE
Obeying you are Saved. TRUE
Believing and baptized you are Saved. TRUE
Calling on the name of Jesus you are Saved. TRUE

ALL verses are TRUE and ALL VERSES APPLY. false doctrines teach to believe one verse over another verse. The teaching that believing is enough is to say all other verses which plainly teach otherwise are in error, wrong, or need to be interpreted away to mean something other than what they say.

Do not hearken to these people who believe one verse over another, they are devoid of the TRUTH, no matter how pretty their white walled tires are, no matter how Christian they LOOK, they are nothing but goats and not sheep. Sheep hear the voice of their Master Jesus. the goats obey the voice of the Masters enemy. The wolf saying "come this way, I will show you the path to get to Heaven, follow me" The wolf saying "As long as you believe those few verses that teach you are SAVED by believing in Jesus, you are going to go to Heaven, don't be concerned with all those other verses, as long as you believe in Jesus you are SAVED, come follow me, continue to live in those sins, just makes sure you ask Jesus for forgiveness every single night for them, 365 days a year OK? your fine. You can obey Jesus on Sunday, OK?"

i have told you the TRUTH. ALL Scriptures are inspired by God. NOT some of them. Those who pick and choose which verses they will believe and which ones they will not believe, do not know the Truth of Scriptures.

Dave, I know you know this, but you stepped over an EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY to explain what LORD MEANS.

It is NOT just saying Jesus is LORD that comes from the Holy Spirit, it is Saying it as you RECEIVE HIM AS LORD (which MEANS MY MASTER), that equates to SALVATION. I can go down to skid row in any big city, and offer $5.00 to every wino on the street to say "JESUS IS LORD", and every one of them will say it so fast it will make your head spin. AND NOT ONE OF THEM WILL BE SAVED AND NOT ONE OF THEM SAID IT BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. IT is CONFESSING IT as a TRUTH ABOUT YOURSELF, meaning you have recognized and received HIM AS MASTER, that Paul was talking about.

Romans 10:9-10 (NASB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] that if you confess {NOT JUST PROFESS} with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
[SUP]10 [/SUP] for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Every unbeliever can profess Jesus is LORD without meaning, but ONLY a TRUE BELIEVER CAN CONFESS it with the meaning that it is proclamation that your really surrendered to HIM as MASTER. THAT is the only time it comes from the HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU.

YOUR doctrine is flawed. GOD's doctrine is accurate. And God's doctrine does NOT say "whoever KEEPS believing on me is saved".

However, the doctrine of PHart states exactly that..
Lol, how does one presently believe except that they are continuing to believe? Are you seriously going to argue that the present believer has not been continuing to believe?

This may sound a little cruel but some people are just full of cotton wool.

Taking them seriously is always a mistake.....
