It is all good bro...I am just razzin you guys.....cannot say much...I appreciate you input migo..... ;)
Back in Windows 3.11 days, there were a LOT simple black and pictograph things we could add to our online posts, but most of them will not work with newer windows. There were lots bible story pics too in black and white, an a whole series of Christian Christmas pics too, in black and white. But sadly the new techs working to impove windows did not think it was worth their time to keep that old artwork relevant.

Back on the subject of SALVATION Once SAVED, do you think if and when the Archealogists prove that Temple mount really was in the City of DAVID, will that create more TRUST in THE BIBLE, and thereby also help create more trust in OSAS?

IS SALVATION “VOID OF WORKS” OR “ NOT BY WORKS (OF OURSELVES)?

WE ARE GOD’S FELLOW WORKERS(1 cor 3:9)
SENT OUT TO HARVEST WHAT WE HAVE NOT WORKED FOR, THE CROP FOR ETERNAL LIFE.

Luke 10:2 He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

John 4:34-38 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. EVEN NOW the reaper draws his wages, EVEN NOW HE HARVESTS THE CROP FOR ETERNAL LIFE, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad TOGETHER. Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ I SENT YOU TO REAP WHAT YOU HAVE NOT WORKED FOR. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”

ARE THERE WORKS NEEDED TO BE DONE FOR SALVATION?

WE ARE TO SERVE IN THE WORKS OF THE GOSPEL WHICH IS THE GOSPEL OF OUR SALVATION.

1 Thessalonians 3:2,5 We sent Timothy, who is our brother and GOD’S FELLOW WORKER in SPREADING THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, For this reason, when I could stand it no longer, I sent to find out about your faith. I was afraid that in some way the tempter might have tempted you and our efforts might have been USELESS.

Philippians 2:22 But you know that Timothy has proved himself, because as a son with his father he has SERVED WITH ME in the WORK OF THE GOSPEL.

Ephesians 1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

John 7:18 HE WHO SPEAKS ON HIS OWN does so to gain honor for himself, but HE WHO WORKS FOR THE HONOR OF THE ONE WHO SENT HIM IS A MAN OF TRUTH; there is nothing false about him.

John 9:4-5 As long as it is day, “WE” MUST DO THE WORK OF HIM WHO SENT ME. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

BUT WE ARE NOT WORKING FOR OUR OWN SALVATION BUT FOR THE CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST OF WHOM HE IS THE SAVIOR (eph 5:23),
WHERE HE PUTS THOSE THAT ARE BEING SAVED AND ARE MADE PARTS OF HIS BODY FOR WORKS OF SERVICE.

Ephesians 4:11-13 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, TO PREPARE GOD’S PEOPLE FOR WORKS OF SERVICE, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:28 And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.

Romans 12:4-8 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

1 Corinthians 11:3 Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

THE TRUE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS IS SELFLESS LOVE.

GOD GAVE US HIS ONLY SON.
JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE FOR US.
WE OUGHT TO LAY DOWN OUR LIVES FOR OUR BROTHERS.

1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

Philippians 2:4 Each of you should look not only to your OWN INTERESTS, but also to the interests of OTHERS.

Colossians 3:12-17 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Galatians 6:2,10 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

2 Timothy 2:14-19 A Workman Approved by God Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. Do your best to present yourself to God as one APPROVED, a WORKMAN who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”

Well.....while proven historical events, archaeological finds, and new sources that give weight to the bible as true can definitely lead one to scrutinize the bible a little deeper with interest and lead one to possibly lean toward believing in it we cannot ever forget that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The Spirit is the truth<---two definite articles and a "be" verb....It is the Spirit of God that accompanies the truth and said Holy Spirit is what convicts, enlightens and reveals the truth to one who is lost. At the end of the day.....the bible is replete with the security found in Christ...I will say that one must totally deny and sweep under the table the promises of Christ, his power, his efficacious sacrifice, his mediatorship, context and the very word of God to say one can lose salvation and or promote a working for, sinless dogma that has no power to save, keep saved and or help one embellish salvation.

Of course it is....he constantly pushes works and a form of sinless perfectionism....
If you could say that Christ was teaching works salvation on the ff: verses then count me in but if you can't accept it or obey what it says then I just pray you won't be denied or rejected as well.

Matthew 19:16-26 The Rich Young Man Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” “Which ones?” the man inquired. Jesus replied, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’” “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?” Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Have you sold ALL you have and given to the poor?
Have you kept every jot and tittle of the law 24/7/365 your whole life?
Have you actually trusted JESUS by faith?

IS SALVATION “VOID OF WORKS” OR “ NOT BY WORKS (OF OURSELVES)?
. . .
Those two statements mean exactly the SAME thing, therefore there is only ONE ANSWER for both. Absolutely YES, because Salvation happens the MOMENT WE BELIEVE, receiving HIM as LORD, which means MASTER. THEREFORE Salvation is a DONE DEAL before any works can even be started. Even Receiving JESUS CHRIST as LORD, is NOT a work of yourself, IT IS A WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR HEART (Human Spirit), 1 Cor. 12:3.

Our Works SPAWN out of GOD's LOVE that the Holy Spirit poured into our Hearts (Human Spirits), at the MOMENT WE WERE SAVED.

Romans 5:5 (HCSB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] This hope will not disappoint ⌊us⌋, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

1 John 5:3-4 (HCSB)
[SUP]3 [/SUP] For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands. Now His commands are not a burden,
[SUP]4 [/SUP] because whatever has been born of God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world: our faith.

John 14:15 (HCSB)

[SUP]15 [/SUP] If you love Me, you will keep My commands.

John 14:21 (HCSB)
[SUP]21 [/SUP] The one who has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. And the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father. I also will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”

2 Chronicles 32:32 (HCSB)
[SUP]32 [/SUP] As for the rest of the events of Hezekiah’s ⌊reign⌋ and his deeds of faithful love, note that they are written in the Visions of the Prophet Isaiah son of Amoz, and in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.

1 Corinthians 2:9 (HCSB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] But as it is written: What eye did not see and ear did not hear, and what never entered the human mind— God prepared this for those who love Him.

Exodus 20:6 (HCSB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] but showing faithful love to a thousand ⌊generations⌋ of those who love Me and keep My commands.

WHY is that so hard for so many to understand? Obedience is NOT part of getting you SAVED, which is a free gift from GOD. Obedience is totally CONNECTED to GOD's LOVE that the Holy Spirit poured into our hearts (human spirits). THEREFORE YOU DO NOT GET TO PAT YOURSELF ON THE BACK FOR YOUR OBEDIENCE; it spawns out of GOD's LOVE the Holy Spirit put in your human spirit the moment it was birthed into Eternal Life.

I agree, that for some people the historical evidence the Archeologists dig up, can remove their personal stumbling block; even tho it says "blessed is he who believes and has not seen". Sense last May there have been several videos released by Archeologists (one is even a Jew) that show what they are finding in a dig in the City of David, seems to confirm that the True Temple mount was in what is now the City of David. http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/155526-third-temple-news.html#post3193780 And since then, I just noticed that a couple of those videos have be mysteriously been removed, including the one from June 18th this year. However, it has also been discovered that the current Southern wall of Jerusalem is about a half mile further north than it was at the time of Christ, and the Temple was in the Southeast corner.

Now the reason I mention that, is Biblical descriptions of the location of the Temple match what the Archeologists are finding. When and if those Archeologists are allowed to prove their findings to the World, which includes evidence that the Western Wall where the JEWS pray, is actually Ft. Antonia's Western Wall; it could shake up a lot of peoples opinions about the TOTAL accuracy of the Bible. To me, it seems that such an event, could very well remove the "that is not what that verse really means" attitude that permeates most False Doctrines. So how many have to see things before they can believe? Apparently a lot, when you read what the Two Witnesses of Revelation will accomplish in a short amount of time. How many have made excuses for not taking what the following verses say, literally?

John 10:27-30 (HCSB)
[SUP]27 [/SUP] My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me.
[SUP]28 [/SUP] I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.
[SUP]29 [/SUP] My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
[SUP]30 [/SUP] The Father and I are one.”

The sweeping the promises aside and centering ones life on warnings is what bothers me most about this spirit of error that has invaded the church so, that the teachers who should of taught the people truth from the beginning are so mixed with that spirit.

How can one live in victory if not living by what Jesus says He did, does, and will do? Living by the promises will keep us from being trapped by the situations that the warnings address.

Plus the truth of the character of God, our Father is revealed clearly through Jesus when we see exactly what the gift of Holy Spirit accomplishes is us and in the body of Jesus...and this is NT grace. The very presence of God with us always.

Can you see a difference between following the commandments and trying daily to obey, versus walking with Holy Spirit, fellowshipping daily with Him, and if He speaks to do, do?

Can you see that the nature where men had to have laws to control that nature for none are good, has been changed to a new nature? One that love of God is given to us when we are receive the Spirit of Christ? And we received that love freely not of any work, but of a repentant heart that knows we need someone and something greater that we had before?
