Riding on that ol derail train, riding on that ol derail train, same ol train that derailed threads gonna take this away again!

People, get ready
There's a train a-coming
You don't need no ticket
You just get on board

All you need is faith
To hear the diesels humming
Don't need no ticket
You just thank the Lord

People get ready
For the train to Jordan
Picking up passengers
From coast to coast

Faith is the key
Open the doors and board them
There's room for all
Amongst the loved the most

There ain't no room
For the hopeless sinner
Who would hurt all mankind
Just to save his own

Have pity on those
Whose chances are thinner
'Cause there's no hiding place
From the kingdom's throne

There is but one phase of salvation.....It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. Anything beyond that is made made false dogma......!
That is the same as GOD because of the Belief of ONE MAN, He declared it as righteousness. That one man was Abraham, and that is how GOD saves every man.

Romans 4:3 (CSBBible)
[SUP]3 [/SUP] For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God,
and it was credited to him for righteousness.

Malachi 3:6 (CSBBible)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] "Because I, the LORD, have not changed,
you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed.

I ate from the tree of life 40 years ago ;)
There is a metaphoric truth, but remember, He said there is a real fruit of Life TREE that grows on either side of the River in side of heaven it self.

Revelation 22:1-4 (NKJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

One ministry ended which was to the Jews only and had to do with law. The New being a spiritual body of believers. Hasvto do with grace. A new Genesis Dcon. The new creation man.

And I didn't say anything about disregarding any words.
I disagree they are identified and called the church twice in context and present tense during his ministry.....there is no distinction made between Jews and Gentiles under the New Covenant.....

So you are in and out of the Spirit? Surely you don't believe this?
Ephesians......be continually filled with the spirit the following clauses indicate one whonis continually filled....yes one cannot be continually filled.....for example....one clause is to be thankful for ALL things....how many believers are thankful for ALL THINGS....those who are not are not continually FILLED......this in no way, shape or form determines salvation......and the spirit has been dealt IN MEASURE

Matthew 16:13-19
Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah
16:13-16pp — Mk 8:27-29; Lk 9:18-20
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

???????????
Amen.....every man was born from above the moment of belief.......

The word isnt church in the Greek. It's ekklesia. In Hebrew it's congregation. There was only Jewish synagogues until Pentecost. But, this has nothing to do with what I said.

Jesus came first to His own people. That's what I said. But, His mission as Saviour of the world wasn't known until Holy Spirit was poured out on Gentiles too. Then Jesus appears to Paul, and Paul receives the revelation of the church.

Wasn't what I said that we aren't in and out of Holy Spirit? Jesus said that living water comes out of our belly. That's exactly how the prophetic word happens in prophecy. Power comes as up from our belly, we may hear a few words, we start to speak and it's a bold word from the Lord.

But, in being born again and baptized in Spirit, our Spirit should be controlling the soulish part of our being when we are matured. It's a fixed position. We aren't a flesh being, but spiritual. It's not putting our mind on the Lord, but that's a good thing to do. We can be filled by speaking in our prayer language while being engaged in other things. The results are righteousness, peace, and joy.

But, I do agree that we aren't full of the Godhead bodily. :)

How would you explain what happened when Jesus breathed on the disciples first, then sent Holy Spirit later to them?

This all does have to do with the topic not by works, for the work of Holy Spirit in our life, is just that. His work, not our own.

Just something I forgot. The disciples didn't really believe as the " I know that I know that I know way" until He appeared to them after His ressurection. Jesus forgives them commissions them, and breathes His Holy Spirit into them. The Spirit of Christ. That which we all experience with faith. . .

What is it that CC always brings out the worse in people? Does anyone see a conversation point here? A biblical presentation which supports his or her view? Why is it people who CLAIM to be Christian think it is ok to belittle people to make a point? It just goes to show how a lot of people see Christians as very proud puffed up people. It hurts our reputation and Gods. I know I can be guilty of it at times also.. I just wish we would be able to help each other out so we do not do this stuff..
I look at what he says vs what the Bible says so I asked that question. I understand distinctives in different denominations but his posts go way beyond that. Therefore I asked that question to understand why he posts his comments.

It is either ignorance or deliberate. I would like to know which.

As Paul pointed out we also have a sin nature in us combating with His Spirit. Unfortunately as he stated too often that sin nature wins.
