Not sure of your point since you did not post any of your own words.

But anyway, the person who claims to be justified in Christ but who has no change of nature is a liar. Christ will reject every person who does not have the works that come from receiving God's free gift of justification in Christ. They show by their disobedient lives that they do not know Him. That doesn't mean they didn't do enough to earn salvation. It means they demonstrate by their disobedient, lawless lives that they do not have the free gift of the forgiveness of sin through Christ Jesus.

No amount of church going, giving, church program participation, witnessing, deacon ministry, praise for his Name, or work of service, etc. is going to make up for the person who has a sinful lifestyle of lawlessness because they're not even justified in Christ to begin with. Their slavery to sin being the evidence of that lack of justification. Rubbing shoulders with Jesus is not good enough to be saved. You have to be justified as evidenced by becoming a new creation that is growing up into His likeness. Works of service for the church is not that evidence. Works of obedience according to the Fruit of the Spirit is. The works of the changed nature are what must accompany salvation. You can't separate them.

Each of us is to see to it that we have not fallen short of the grace of God. We know if we have by how we live. The person who can't demonstrate that he has received the grace of God by how he lives has fallen short of the grace of God and will be rejected by Christ.
Galatians 5:4 Those of you who are trying to be justified by the Law have been cut off from the Messiah. You have fallen away from grace.

You should never rewrite the scriptures.

Works are out of the grace of God.....for it is God who works within us to will and to domif His good pleasure.

2Pe 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the full knowledge of the one who called us by his own glory and excellence.

2Pe 1:4 Through these he has given us his precious and wonderful promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, seeing that you have escaped the corruption that is in the world caused by evil desires.

2Pe 1:5 For this very reason, you must make every effort to supplement your faith with moral character, your moral character with knowledge,

2Pe 1:6 your knowledge with self-control, your self-control with endurance, your endurance with godliness,

2Pe 1:7 your godliness with brotherly kindness, and your brotherly kindness with love.

2Pe 1:8 For if you possess these qualities, and if they continue to increase among you, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in attaining a full knowledge of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah.

2Pe 1:9 For the person who lacks these qualities is blind and shortsighted, and has forgotten the cleansing that he has received from his past sins.

2Pe 1:10 So then, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your callingand election certain, for if you keep on doing this you will never fail.

The Lord does not fail in judging His Household if need be. Judgement leads to mercy, which leads to repentance, and grace reestablished. God is a restoration Father.

John 3, 20.21
For every one that does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [SUP]21 [/SUP]But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Romans 2, 4-6

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Or dost thou despise the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, ignoring that the goodness of God leads thee to repentance?
[SUP]5 [/SUP]But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasures up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
[SUP]6 [/SUP]who will render to everyone according to his deeds

And there's another million quote there are to be found in the Bible. The works/deeds that save are those made by faith, it's clearly intended that the works that don't save are those made by the fear of the law in our flesh. We're free children of God Father, not pawns, we must believe by faith and act by faith. Without working faith no one can be justified nor saved.

To practice these qualities in 2 Peter 1:5-7 gives evidence of and assurance of salvation, though they are never the basis for it. Peter says, those who practice these qualities will never fall.
Interesting fact about the bold above. The bold above has zero to do with salvation and keeping it, but everything to do with not sinning.

ptaiō:

to err, make a mistake, to sin

2 Peter 1:1-11 in context is not at all about salvation and keeping it. It is how a man becomes a saint[partaker of the divine nature] after his salvation and grows into perfection [spiritual maturity] and can and will overcome sin in this life. He will never be sinless or prefect and will still SIN, but it should become less of a hindrance to him

I agree with your post didachos, except that one word "must" is error. The correct would be "will". All things needed to walk by Holy Spirit are given to us when we are born from above. Even love and faith. So no boast of mans goodness will ever stand before Father. Only if the One who we live in and out of, and move, having our very being in Him. Our Lord Jesus Christ.

It has everything to do with maturity. Though I agree that sins become less of an issue in our life, as we grow up into Him.

Works are out of the grace of God.....for it is God who works within us to will and to domif His good pleasure.
And so the person who claims they have God's grace in salvation but who can't have works is ultimately showing that they don't have the grace of God in salvation. We ultimately know by if they repent when confronted about not having any works. God's people respond. Lost people do not because they can not.

2Cor 5, 14

For the charity of the Christ constrains us because we judge thus: that if one died for all, then all are dead.

It's a good "must".;)

p.s.

If we weren't loved by God, we wouldn't be capable of being free to act according to love or choose to don't love. The bond between us and the God Almighty Creator is not a sorrowful chain but it means our life.

Lawyers, Pharisees, Sinless perfectionists etc. cannot grasp that TRUTH....when one believes adherance to some law makes them RIGHTEOUS even though THE LAW ACTUALLY DOES THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE, because it CONDEMNS them...Why? -->because THEY NEVER KEEP IT though they claim to keep it

____________________________________________

CHRISTIANS OUGHT TO TEST THE SPIRIT WHETHER THEY ARE FROM GOD.(1john 4:1, john 7:17)

LET’S SPOT THE DIFFERENCE.

Romans 2:13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is THOSE WHO OBEY THE LAW WHO WILL BE DECLARED.RIGHTEOUS.

Romans 3:31 Do we, then, NULLIFY THE LAW by this faith? Not at all! Rather, WE UPHOLD THE LAW.

Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore LOVE IS THE FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW.

Romans 5:5 And hope does not disappoint us, because GOD HAS POURED OUT HIS LOVE INTO OUR HEARTS by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

Hebrews 8:10 This is the covenant I will make WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Mark 7:6-13 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you HYPOCRITES; as it is written: “‘THESE PEOPLE HONOR ME WITH THEIR LIPS, but their hearts are far from me. THEY WORSHIP ME IN VAIN; their teachings are but RULES TAUGHT BY MEN.’ You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men.” And he said to them: “YOU HAVE A FINE WAY OF SETTING ASIDE THE COMMANDS OF GOD in order to observe your own traditions! For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’ But you say that if a man says to his father or mother: ‘Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is Corban’ (that is, a gift devoted to God), then YOU NO LONGER LET HIM DO ANYTHING for his father or mother. Thus YOU NULLIFY THE WORD OF GOD by your tradition that you have handed down. And YOU DO MANY THINGS LIKE THAT.”
Paul, who was inspired and you are not, also wrote...

Therefore we Conclude that a man is JUSTIFIED BY FAITH without works (The law is indicated by the whole chapter)

The righteousness of Christ WITHOUT THE LAW is imputed by FAITH.

Therefore by the DEEDS OF THE LAW THERE SHALL BE NO FLESH JUSTIFIED IN HIS SIGHT FOR BY THE LAW IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN...

Have you yet noticed that most ignore your bound under the law drivel.......as a matter of fact the only people who listen are lawyers and Pharisees such as yourself.....

Good luck with the law which came by Moses and proves your guilt...I will take the grace and truth in Christ anyday over your lack of understanding.....

Faith alone is what saves a man....no man can do one work or bear one piece of fruit unless in the vine....there is only one work that saves...BELIEVE on him who was sent......

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Not by WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS which we HAVE DONE, but according to his mercy has he saved us.

Therefore we Conclude that a man is JUSTIFIED BY FAITH without works (The law is indicated by the whole chapter)
There are two laws which Paul speaks about. Grace and the Law. The Law is the mere adhereing to the codes of the Law like doing alimony etc. The Grace is the law/rule which make you act for the love of God and of your brothers, makes you pray God and offer him everything because it's just and commanded by the apostles and their successors.

If you take out the deeds from faith, there's no faith, there's just pretense.

James 2, 14-26

[SUP]14 [/SUP]¶ My brethren, What shall it profit though someone says that they have faith and do not have works? Shall this type of faith be able to save them?

[SUP]15 [/SUP]If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,
[SUP]16 [/SUP]and one of you says unto them, Depart in peace; be ye warmed and filled; but ye do not give them those things which are needful for the body; what shall it profit them?

[SUP]17 [/SUP]Even so faith, if it does not have works, is dead in and of itself.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]But someone may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works; show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.

[SUP]19 [/SUP]Thou believest that God is one; thou doest well; the demons also believe and tremble.

[SUP]20 [/SUP]But, O vain man, dost thou desire to know that faith without works is dead?

[SUP]21 [/SUP]Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered his son Isaac upon the altar?

[SUP]22 [/SUP]Dost thou not see how the faith worked together with his works, and the faith was complete by the works?

[SUP]23 [/SUP]And that the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness, and he was called the Friend of God.

[SUP]24 [/SUP]Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not only by faith.

[SUP]25 [/SUP]Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

[SUP]26 [/SUP]For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

For the workera for.....HOW MANY WORKS must one have to prove salvation....1, 3, 67, 999 ?.......One who has believed has already done the work of the Heavenly Father.....let us put it a different way....HOW MANY PIECES OF FRUIT DOES A TREE NEED TO PROVE WHAT TYPE OF TREE IT IS?

An apple tree is an apple tree from the very micro second it sprouts.....and it takes from 2 to 4 years to produce from 1 TO A FEW APPLES.....when was it not an apple tree.....or let us just say the first 5 years it can produce sees a hard freeze at thw wrong time and it takes 8 years to produce....when is it not an apple tree? Or suppose it produces 15 years straight and then sees a drought followed by 5 years of hard freezes at the wrong time and does not produce...when is it not an apple tree?

You fruit inspectors and workers for need to get your game straight.......faith is what saves eternally....some produce an abundance...some not so much...some produce gold, silver and precious stones and some wood, hay and stubble.....yet they have ALL DONE THE WORK OF THE HEAVENLY FATHER BY BELIEVING.....

Therefore we CONCLUDE A MAN IS JUSTIFIED (BEFORE GOD) BY FAITH WITHOUT WORKS <--Paul who was inspired!!

I suppose that depends on one's interpretation of Hebrews 10:26.

Are we talking about sins of the flesh and ones attitude? A believer can struggle to overcome such sins, if so is it wilfull, even seeing God for help and deliverance?

Or are we taking about those who have heard the word, the gospel and totally reject it. The sin of unbelief.

John 16:8-9
8 And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me;

The total rejection of Christ and forgiveness of sins on account of his name.

There is only one sin that cannot be forgiven. Total rejection Jesus and salvation given by faith in him.

To me there is a difference between someone who claims to have faith and sins.

One who struggles with sin (like addiction yet hates it) and one who does not give two hoots.

Whatsoever God does it is evetlasting, nothing added nor taken away Ecclesiastes 3:14.....Jesus said eternal and everlasting life.....not temporal!

If everything God does is everlasting, what ever happened to Noah's flood waters? Are they still covering the whole earth?

Interesting response! It seems to me, that Hebrews 10:26 is all about free will decisions. God will not interfere with peoples' free will. Please note any words in the subject scripture that have to do with free will such as "deliberate" or "intentional" or "on purpose!"

Hyper-grace proponents tend to completely IGNORE the fact that you ALWAYS have free will. But if it had not been for free will, Lucifer could (or would) have never rebelled, along with about 1/3 of all the angels! THAT is the primary reason that the doctrine of OSAS (once saved, always saved) is an extremely dangerous deception! It's like walking a tightrope without a safety net. One little slip, and splat ... your'e a goner!
