Hi TT,

I am going to be honest here and just so you know this is not getting at you or anyone else. And I may get slated here.
My thoughts are that in the main people are not twisting scripture to serve their own false Gospel.
People are using scripture because they believe in a false gospel, which is what they have heard and been taught.

So to them it's not a false gospel at all but the true gospel.
Just like our gospel is false and theirs is not.

In a sense I think when Paul, John and so on wrote to the churches concerning the false Gospel it was twofold.

Just my thoughts on the following.

Firstly to the believers, do not be deceived and also to those who had been deceived.
This is the truth, anything against that don't listen, those who have been deceived listen, this is the true gospel.

Walk in it, if not you fall foul of the grace of God.
Hi Bill

Do you think there may be roots of some kind of thinking that causes one to go foul of truth? I've been kicking this around a bit. Just wondering what you think.

Was listening to a song called I AM this morning before coming online. I AM....holding on to you. I AM....holding on to you. In the middle of the storm, I AM holding on to you.

Good thing huh? The wind can get really strong and blow us away if He isn't.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my
fortress, I will never be shaken.
Psalm 62:2

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield
and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalm 18:2

The LORD is my light and my salvation-- whom
shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my
life-- of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1

You've admitted that you still sin, Ralph. The only contention is the total

Lets assume you commit only 5 sins a day starting today (which is being extremely conservative).

5 sins times 7 days = 35; times a month = 140; times a year = 1680. Lets assume you live another 20 years - that comes out to 33,600 sins (Which doesn't take into account all of the sins you've committed since you became a Christian).

That looks like the very definition of one who "practices" a lifestyle of sin.

Also, the Bible says a believer will not, nor can, sin. (1 John 3:9). How do you explain that, Ralph?
And if he Breaks the SPEED LIMIT only once a DAY and a Policeman was there every time he did so, THAT WOULD be 7300 Speeding Tickets in those Twenty Years. You do the CRIME, you will PAY the FINE. Would that NOT be a HABITUAL Offender of the Speeding Laws.

That's a good one too,you really are quite clueless and humorous,I would ask you to "show evidence" of your "claim" but that would be "pointless",if you are really going to "Zero in on Noname" with "false accusations" then one can conclude that most what you say whether biblical or not is "false" way to go on reducing your "credibility".
In your signature I noticed the reference to filthy rags. I recently found out that is an incorrect translation used because of the nasty word used. The correct translation is sh*t. That takes it down much lower.

Right, like I care I believe "God's word" not "people" for "knowledge" many people today are "changing the Bible's words and meanings,so the chances of me believing such a statement is none" for I "search out scripture and word definitions to find out truth myself,if I believed every person that talked to me about the bible I wouldn't be "me" and I wouldn't be "Trusting God/Jesus" and I would "end up in a mess" people can be cruel like that telling someone a truth but not the truth or a total lie.

Galatians 3:19 Parsed: Law is in effect "UNTIL"

Galatians 3:19 (A) Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, (B) till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; (C) and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

PARSING:
A) NOTE: The law doesn't annul the Abrahamic covenant. The Law was given was 430 years later (Gal 3:17). The Law was ADDED, to expose, condemn & declare the penalty for transgressions/SIN.

B) NOTE: The law was in effect, (TIME SENSITIVE WORD >>>) ""Until""" the promised seed (Christ) should come. After that the law is to cease. (Rom 10:4)

C) NOTE: Moses was the mediator between God and the people. (Deut 5:5). The promised seed (Christ) is the meditor of a new BETTER Covenant:

Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a """better covenant""" which was established upon """better promises"""

Christ Mediates A BETTER Covenant, Established Upon BETTER Promises.

Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Better then angels, because they worship the Christ. BETTER then Moses, because He created Him. BETTER then the Aaronic priesthood, because Christ's sin sacrifice is once for all time. BETTER then the law, because Christ mediates a BETTER covenant.

Romans 5:6 While we were still weak,""at the right time""" "Christ died for the ungodly"
(NOTE: AT THE RIGHT TIME! "Christ died for the ungodly" Jew or Gentile!)

the penalty of sin is death, that would be 7300 death sentences.

I know what Calvinists believe.

They believe I was predestined, before the foundation of the world, to disbelieve in Calvinism.

They may be right.

Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin. James 4:17[/QUOTE

Okay, you just said it. You know not to SPEED, and accidental SPEEDING carries the SAME FINE as the deliberate SPEEDER.

Oh you SINNER.

ARE YOU READY TO CHIME IN WHICH PAUL, and ADMIT YOU ARE A SINNER?

[SUP]15 [/SUP] This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

Even if this were true it wouldn't stave me off from speaking on Scripture, because it's God's word, for instance the proper original name as stated in the king james version bible for a donkey is "ass" and though the world today uses it as otherwise I use it for when a donkey is talked of in the bible unashamed, because one must remember that what the world says is not what God says, and so thereby if a word is in the bible appropriately where as the world sees it as inappropriate,I'll use said word because I accept what God sees as appropriate.

Yeah, I would have no problem with God saying that... God can say whatever he wants.

It's just not what the scripture says.

Is it your sole purpose on this site to belittle others that you don't agree with?

Hi Stones,

I have often pondered this myself. What is the gospel to one person?
If they have the gospel then it's the truth.
If another disagrees then it's a false gospel.

If that's the case then one is deceived.

So to me one is believing a lie.

The root is deception and that only comes from the father of lies.

Generally, the amount of a speeding fine is based on the speed over the posted limit regardless if by accident or design.

Hi BillG, I wish Jesus was a soft as you are on false teacher's when He return's, but He will not be,
"I never knew you", False teachers need to be called out and made public for what the claim is the truth. It does not matter how or where the received their false teaching,"which is what they have heard and been taught." ." A false gospel will lead people straight to hell and you should know this. If what they are teaching is a false christ shout it from the pubic square so that people are aware.

The True Gospel is plain and simple so that even a child would understand. Frankly I am having trouble following your gospel message here. It sounds like your sympathy for false teacher's is misplaced and should be redirected to those who follow their damnable teaching. Yes everyone is entitle to their own opinion.

I have no idea what you are talking about here;

So to them it's not a false gospel at all but the true gospel.
Just like our gospel is false and theirs is not.

I am one of those people who, when telling a funny joke, often has an extremely difficult time getting to the punchline, because I am laughing so hard, I cannot even speak :D (Or breathe )
