I have a confession to make. I cannot actually understand the heart of someone who reads
Gods word and yet denies its core points. It is like staring at the judgement seat of God and
making rude signs at Him.

Each word, each concept is accounted for, and judgement fall on it. To not know Gods word
is one thing, but to read it and then reject it is another.

I did not realise years ago how I would be transformed from sinner to saint, how my failures
would be healed and how I could be made whole. But when love found a home within me,
and love worked its ways through all I am, then I have become something that God has
made, and I rejoice greatly in His love, Amen.

I have also learnt how people defile their interactions, and turn that which is pure into
that which is untrue and dishonest. Of this I want no part. Make your walk the walk of
Jesus and His ways and you will walk in the Kingdom, Amen

I have been reading peters old posts.. I forgot how many were a part of a group of people who went to war against grace and are no longer here.

it just sickens me how hard it is for some people to realize what real sin is, and understand the true meaning of grace.
I hear ya.....what blows my mind is how many are oblivious to what this thread is actually about....how one is saved......by faith alone......and not about what happens after salvation, the process of sanctification etc.....

thats the problem, to them they are the same thing.

they do not understand justification is final, Sanctification is ongoing, and justification is NOT dependent on how well we sanctify ourselves.

yup

ive made long posts about it

short posts

little reminders

it doesnt matter

some people just want to add to the gospel
other people are just in error thinking the sacrifice of Jesus isnt enough to save someone

"youre saying you can just be the same old person after being born again?"

such a typical strawman

no one has said once youre a new creature youre the same old man...

youre obviously not...

the point of this thread

is once you are born again

you are His child and saved

all glory to salvation goes to Jesus

_______

the walk AS a new creature who cannot lose his/her salvation is a completely different topic

the walk of a christian

____

pray constantly
examine yourself to see if you are the spirit

deny the flesh

encourage to DO good works (not to save yourself but out of love for Him who loved you first)

and to build our brothers and sisters up

help them if they stumble

and the fruits of walking in the spirit

im sure we all know

love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
meekness, temperance

we should also say charity

but none of these things save us
or keep us saved

this is God providing the transformation

no one should look at Gods grace or the GIFT of salvation to those who believe on the name of Jesus as a "now i can do all these sins i love" card

if you love these sins so much you dont even care what Jesus had to go through and it doesnt hurt your new heart that youre choosing flesh

id say examine yourself

because that sounds like the old heart to me
bump again

i believe 8 times now

how one is saved......by faith alone......
Wrong. No one is saved by a faith that is alone. The faith that is alone does not justify.
The faith that works through love, that is the faith that justifies.

"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love."-Galatians 5:6

If your faith is alone then you do not have the faith that justifies apart from works. That's not a works gospel. If you say it is then you are saying Paul taught a works gospel. Do you want to argue with Paul?

It pleased god by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe....

You can keep your lies, deception and working for false gospel

and your Galatians scripture has nothing to do with how salvation is given.....

Galatians 5
5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

some people just want to add to the gospe
"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love."-Galatians 5:6

Do you think Paul is adding works and teaching a works gospel here? Of course not. But what is clear is you are not going to be saved by faith that is alone. The faith that is alone has no power to justify. Only faith that loves is the faith that justifies apart from works. Faith that is alone can not save you. Works do matter.

I have no power to condemn anyone to hell. I can only do what the Bible says and be aware of people who call themselves saved but who don't act like it.

The context is justification.

The faith that is alone can not justify. Only the faith that works justifies. The works don't justify. The faith does. The point is, the faith that justifies is signified by the work that accompanies it.

"things that accompany salvation"-Hebrews 6:9

But the trend in the church today is you don't have to have works with your faith to be saved. Many do not know that the faith that justifies apart from works is the faith that works. And so they have a false sense of security in their dead faith. Works do matter to salvation. They don't justify. They show the faith that justifies.

Lying, falsely accusing and saying one pushes a live like they want gospel when they don't, twisting what people say, embellishing what people say<-----your modus operandi.......how does that prove your working for dogma?

False...Paul was inspired and you....no where near it...

Therefore we conclude a man is justified by faith without works

i think God needs to open ones eyes...
that taking a single verse out of context
then
adding a whole bunch of worldly understandings that are wayyy off base from what started as an error to begin with is getting old...

its what all the people who wish to add to or take from what Jesus did do...

kinda like what satan did to temp Jesus too actually

using scripture out of context

he can not speak truthful about you DC, he would have to admit he is wrong. so he is forced to lie about you and all those like you.
