The argument about sin is one sin shows one is a failure, but no actions prove one does
not have Christ within, though strangely some want to claim it means nothing.
Once again you show a shocking lack of comprehension. The issue is whether or not works save. Nobody argues against having good works once one is saved, except people like you who repeatedly misrepresent those above whom you love to elevate yourself.

Worship on Sunday does not break any of the commandments of God.

Why do you keep telling this lie?
Hello my purple friend,

Indeed we should worship God everyday of the week as I have already explained to you. After I have corrected you as to what it is I believe are you the one that is telling lies? This I leave with you and God.

The problem many face is that God's 4th Commandment says the SEVENTH DAY of the WEEK is a HOLY day.

NO WORK
is to be done on this day. If you WORK on this day and forget God's 4th Commandment and do not make it a HOLY DAY then you break the Commandment.

God wrote the 4th Commandment saying REMEMBER THE Sabbath day to keep it HOLY.

God already knew that people would FORGET it.

If you break ANY of God's commandments you commit SIN (1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7; James 2:8-12).

These are Gods Words written by God himself. It is the 4th Commandment in the 10 Commandments (Exodus 20:8-11).

Jesus and the apostles all followed God's commandments including the 4th Commandment because of their LOVE to God. (Exodus 20:8-11; Mark 2:27-28, Hebrews 4; Matthew 12:8; Matthew 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; Mark 2:28; Matthew 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matthew 16:24; 1 Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Revelations 1:10).

Jesus is our example and is why he has said to those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD. IF you LOVE me keep my commandments (John 14:15). The question is; Do we LOVE Jesus enough to FOLLOW him?

Wheather you think God is lying or not it is up to you. Eve thought God was lying in the garden of Eden when the devil said to her if you break God's Commandments you will not surely die.

Who should we believe the Word of God or the words of the devil?

You only continue your lies in order to follow your catholic tradition and teaching that break the commandments of GOD. All those who continue in KNOWN SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

It is God that says those who follow the traditions of MEN that break his Commandments are NOT following God.

We should BELIEVE and FOLLOW the WORD of God over the teachings and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church.

Matthew 15
3,
But he answered and said to them, WHY DO YOU TRANSGRESS THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD BY YOUR TRADITION?
4, For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death.
5, But you say, Whoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatever you might be profited by me;
6, And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have you made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
7, You hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8, This people draws near to me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9, BUT IS VAIN THEY DO WORSHIP ME, TEAHCING FOR DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN

Here is where your Caotholic tradition that breaks the Commandments of God comes from...

SIN is the transgression of God's LAW. Those who continue in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into God's KINGDOM.

...............

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

Jesus said the entire workings of the law are summed up in but one commandment to obey:

"Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?" Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” (John 6:28-29)

That's it, and that's all.
Actually Jesus does not say this. Jesus says;

Matthew 22
36,
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37, Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
38,
This is the FIRST and great commandment.
39, And the SECOND is like to it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
40, ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS

Matthew 19
16,
And, behold, one came and said to him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17, And he said to him, Why call you me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments.
18, He said to him, Which? Jesus said, You shall do no murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness,
19, Honor your father and your mother: and, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.

ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS (Jesus is quoting from Deut 6:5 and Lev 19:18)

Romans 13
8,
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law.
9, For this, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
10, Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

James 2
8,
If you fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, You shall love your neighbor as yourself, you do well:
9, But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10, For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11, For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if you commit no adultery, yet if you kill, you are become a transgressor of the law.

Seems Jesus, Paul and James all agree that it is only through LOVE that anyone can OBEY and FOLLOW God and is why Jesus says; IF you LOVE me keep my Commandments (John 14:15).

100 Bible Facts Concerning the Sabbath Truth

 1. After working the first six days of the week in creating this earth, the great God rested on the Seventh day. (Genesis 2:1-3)
 2. This stamped that day as God’s rest day, or Sabbath day, as Sabbath day means rest day. To illustrate: When a person is born on a certain day, that day thus becomes his birthday. So when God rested upon the Seventh day, that day became His rest, or Sabbath, day.
 3. Therefore the Seventh day must always be God’s Sabbath day. Can you change your birthday from the day on which you were born to one on which you were not born? No. Neither can you change God’s rest day to a day on which He did not rest. Hence the Seventh day is still God’s Sabbath day.
 4. The Creator blessed the Seventh day. (Genesis 2:3) Note also that the word translated “rested” in our English Bibles in Genesis 2:3 is actually “shabath” in the Hebrew and means Sabbath.
 5. He sanctified the Seventh day. (Exodus 20:11) Have you stopped and thought why we have a seven day week?
 6. He made it the Sabbath day in the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 2:1-3)
 7. It was made before the fall; hence it is not a type; for types were not introduced till after the fall.
 8. Jesus says it was made for man (Mark 2:27), that is, for the race, as the word man is here unlimited; hence, for the Gentile as well as for the Jew.
 9. It is a memorial of creation. (Exodus 20:11; 31:17) Every time we rest upon the Seventh day, as God did at creation, we commemorate that grand event.
 10. It was given to Adam, the head of the human race. (Mark 2:27; Genesis 2:1-3)
 11. Saturday is called the Sabbath in over 100 languages just as it was named at creation. This dates back to Babel in Genesis 11, where Saturday was recognized as the Sabbath day and was incorporated into the very name of the day. In English we have the Pagan name Saturday.
 12. It is not a Jewish institution, for it was made 2,300 years before ever there was a Jew.
 13. The Bible never calls it the Jewish Sabbath, but always “the Sabbath of the Lord thy God.” Men should be cautious how they stigmatize God’s holy rest day.
 14. Evident reference is made to the Sabbath and the seven-day week all, through the patriarchal age.
 15. It was a part of God’s law before Sinai. God tested His children to see if they would keep His Commandments. How did God test them? By seeing if they would keep THE Seventh day. (Exodus 16:4-30)
 16. Then God placed it in the heart of His moral law. (Exodus 20:1-17) Why did He place it there if it was not like the other nine precepts, which all admit to be immutable?
 17. The Seventh-day Sabbath was commanded by the voice of the living God. (Deuteronomy 4:12-13)
 18. Then He wrote the Commandment with His own finger. (Exodus 31:18)
 19. He engraved it in the enduring stone, indicating its imperishable nature. (Deuteronomy 5:22)
 20. It was sacredly preserved in the ark in the holy of holies. (Deuteronomy 10:5)
 21. God forbade work upon the Sabbath, even in the most hurrying times. (Exodus 34:21)
 22. God destroyed the Israelites in the wilderness because they profaned the Sabbath. (Ezekiel 20:12-13)
 23. It is the sign of the true God, by which we are to know Him from false gods. (Ezekiel 20:20)
 24. He sent them into the Babylonish captivity for breaking it. (Nehemiah 13:18)
 25. He destroyed Jerusalem for its violation. (Jeremiah 17:27)
 26. The day was not changed by any direction from God but was changed by Constantine in favour of Sun worship, hence the pagan name Sunday.
 27. God has pronounced a special blessing on all the Gentiles who will keep it. (Isaiah 56:2, 6)
 28. This is in the prophecy, which refers wholly to the Christian dispensation. (See Isaiah 56)
 29. God has promised to bless all who keep the Sabbath. (Isaiah 56:2, 6)
 30. The Lord requires us to call it “honourable”. (Isaiah 58:13) Beware, ye who take delight in calling it the. “old Jewish Sabbath,” “a yoke of bondage,” etc.
 31. After the holy Sabbath has been trodden down “many generations,” it is to be restored in the last days. (Isaiah 58:12-13)
 32. All the holy prophets kept the Seventh day.
 33. When the Son of God came, He kept the Seventh day all His life. (Luke 4:16; John 15:10) Thus He followed His Father’s example at creation. Shall we not be safe in following the example of both the Father and the Son?
 34. The Seventh day is the Lord’s Day. (See Revelation 1:10; Mark 2:28; Isaiah 58:13; Exodus 20:10)
 35. Jesus was Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28), that is, to love and protect it, as the husband is the lord of the wife, to love and cherish her (1 Peter 3:6)
 36. He taught His disciples that they should do nothing upon the Sabbath day but what was “lawful” (Matthew 12:12)
 37. He instructed His apostles that the Sabbath would still be kept forty years after His resurrection. (Matthew 24:20) See also is Sabbath keeping found in the New Testament after the cross.
 38. The pious women who had been with Jesus carefully kept the Seventh day after His death. (Luke 23:55-56)
 39. Thirty years after Christ’s resurrection, the Holy Spirit’ expressly calls it “the Sabbath day,” (Acts 13:14)
 40. Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, called it the “Sabbath day” in A.D. 45. (Acts 13:27) Did not Paul know? Or shall we believe modern teachers, who affirm that it ceased to be the Sabbath at the resurrection of Christ?
 41. Luke, the inspired Christian historian, writing as late as A.D. 62, calls it the “Sabbath day.” (Acts 13:44)
 42. The Gentile converts called it the Sabbath. (Acts 13:42)
 43. In the great Christian council, A.D. 49. In the presence of the apostles and thousands of disciples, James calls it the “Sabbath day.” (Acts 15:21)
 44. It was customary to hold prayer meetings upon that day. (Acts 16:13)
 45. Paul read the Scriptures in public meetings on that day. (Acts 17:1-2)
 46. It was his custom to preach upon that day. (Acts 17:1-2)
 47. The Book of Acts alone gives a record of his holding eighty-four meetings upon that day. (See Acts 13:14, 42, 44; 16:13; 17:1-2; 18:4)
 48. There was never any dispute between the Christians and the Jews about the Sabbath day. This is proof that the Christians still observed the same day that the Jews did.
 49. In all their accusations against Paul, they never charged him with disregarding the Sabbath day. Why did they not, if he did not keep it?
 50. Paul himself expressly declared that he had kept the law. “Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended any thing at all … to the Jews have I done no wrong” Acts 25:8, 10. How could this be true if he had not kept the Sabbath? The Jews would have accused Paul of breaking the Sabbath if he had.
 51. The Sabbath is mentioned in the New Testament fifty-nine times, and always with respect, bearing the same title it had in the Old Testament, “the Sabbath day.”
 52. Not a word is said anywhere in the New Testament about the Sabbath being abolished, done away, changed, or anything of the kind.
 53. The Sabbath of the Lord is not to be confused with the temporary Jewish ceremonial sabbaths that pointed forward to the work of Jesus on the cross as these had feast days, monthly new moons and yearly ceremonial sabbaths that did end at the cross. Eg; Passover sabbath. Passages typically misunderstood are Romans 14:5, Galatians 4:9-10 and Colossians 2:14-16. See Colossians 2:16 and two laws compared and Romans 14:5 Commentary. See also the law and Galatians.
 54. God calls His Sabbath “My Sabbath” (Exodus 31:13, Ezekiel 20:20) where the ceremonial sabbaths which were for Israel only, God calls them “HER sabbaths.” (Hosea 2:11, Lamentations 1:7)
 55. God has never given permission to any man to work upon it. Reader, by what authority do you use - the Seventh day for common labour?
 56. No Christian of the New Testament, either before or after the resurrection, ever did ordinary work upon the Seventh day. Find one case of that kind, and we will yield the question. Why should modern Christians do differently from Bible Christians?
 57. There is no record that God has ever removed His blessing or sanctification from the Seventh day.
 58. As the Sabbath was kept in Eden before the fall, so it will be observed eternally in the new earth after the restitution. (Isaiah 66:22-23)
 59. The Seventh-day Sabbath was an important part of the law of God, as it came from His own mouth, and was written by His own finger upon stone at Sinai. (See Exodus 20) When Jesus began His work, He expressly declared that He had not come to destroy the law. “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets.” (Matthew 5:17-19) See the meaning of fulfilling the law.
 60. Jesus severely condemned the Pharisees as hypocrites for pretending to love God, while at the same tune they made void one of the Ten Commandments by their tradition. The keeping of Sunday is only a tradition of men. (Mark 7:6-9)
Forty Bible Facts Concerning the First Day of the Week

 1. The very first thing recorded In the Bible is work done on Sunday, the first day of the week. (Genesis 1:1-5) The Creator Himself did this. If God made the earth on Sunday, can it be wicked for us to work on Sunday?
 2. God commands men to work upon the first day of the week. (Exodus 20:8-11) Is it wrong to obey God?
 3. None of the patriarchs ever kept it.
 4. None of the holy prophets ever kept it.
 5. By the express command of-God, His holy people used the first day of the week as a common working day for 4,000 years, at least.
 6. God Himself calls it a “working” day. (Ezekiel 46:1)
 7. God did not rest upon it.
 8. He never blessed it.
 9. Christ did not rest upon it.
 10. Jesus was a carpenter (Mark 6:3), and worked at His trade until He was thirty years old. He kept the Sabbath and worked six days in the week, as all admit. Hence He did many a hard day’s work on Sunday.
 11. The apostles worked upon it during the same time.
 12. The apostles never rested upon it.
 13. Christ never blessed it.
 14. It has never been blessed by any divine authority.
 15. It has never been sanctified.
 16. No law was ever given to enforce the keeping of it, hence it is no transgression to work upon it. “Where no law is, there is no transgression.” Romans 4:15 (See also 1 John 3:4)
 17. The New Testament nowhere forbids work to be done on it.
 18. No penalty is provided for its violation.
 19. No blessing is promised for its observance.
 20. No regulation is given as to how it ought to be observed. Would this be so if the Lord wished us to keep it?
 21. It is never called the Christian Sabbath.
 22. It is never called the Sabbath day at all.
 23. It is never called the Lord’s day.
 24. It is never called even a rest day.
 25. No sacred title whatever is applied to it. Then why should we call it holy?
 26. It is simply called “first day of the week.”
 27. Jesus never-mentioned it in any way, never took its name upon His lips, so far as the record shows.
 28. The word Sunday never occurs in the Bible at all.
 29. Neither God, Christ, nor inspired men ever said one word in favour of Sunday as a holy day.
 30. The first day of the week is mentioned only eight times in all the New Testament. (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:2, 9; Luke 24:1; John 20:1, 19; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2)
 31. Six of these texts refer to the same first day of the week.
 32. Paul directed the saints to look over their secular affairs on that day. (1 Corinthians 16:2)
 33. In all the New Testament we have a record of only one religious meeting held upon that day, and even this was a night meeting. (Acts 20:7)
 34. There is not intimation that they ever held a meeting upon it before or after that.
 35. It was not their custom to meet on that day.
 36. There was no requirement to break bread on that day.
 37. We have an account of only one instance in which it was done. (Acts 20:7)
 38. That was done in the night after midnight on a Saturday meeting that went past sunset and so became the first day of the week. (Acts 20:7) This was just an extended Sabbath meeting that went very late as Paul was departing the following day. Jesus broke bread (fellowship meal) on Thursday evening (Luke 22), and the disciples sometimes did it every day. (Acts 2:46)
 39. The Bible nowhere says that the first day of the week commemorates the resurrection of Christ. This is a tradition of men, which contradicts the law of God. (Mark 7:6-9) Baptism commemorates the burial and resurrection of Jesus. (Romans 6:3-5)
 40. Finally, the New Testament is totally silent with regard to any change of the Sabbath day or any sacredness for the first day.

Here are one hundred plain Bible facts about the real Sabbath truth showing conclusively that the Seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord in both the Old and New Testament. (more info; source)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

Works done to impress and with the intention of gaining some advantage have no meaning. Works that are born out of a renewed heart filled with the Spirit are done out of love not interest. Those do not save but they do count.

Once again you show a shocking lack of comprehension. The issue is whether or not works save. Nobody argues against having good works once one is saved, except people like you who repeatedly misrepresent those above whom you love to elevate yourself.
What amazes me is how people can claim to love Jesus, but are happy to be
compromised with evil.

I think the problem people have is with passions of the heart. People will always
have inappropriate thoughts, but this is not sin, this is the fruit of the tree of
knowledge of good and evil. Because we have this knowledge it does not make
us evil, what makes us evil is acting on these thoughts towards sin.

To the idealists, a pure person has no such thoughts, except this will never occur.
Jesus calls us to sow to the Spirit, and leave alone the passions of the flesh.

This is who Jesus is, and who we are in Him. Anyone who compromises this does
not know Him. God became man to walk the walk and not sin, to show us the way.
We are saved by faith to walk this walk. If one claims one has faith and fails to
follow, that person is deluded and lying.

Why the apostles warned us, was that people who compromised and live in sin,
will claim they are the truth speakers, and everyone is compromised and flawed
so the gospel of purity and holiness is just false lying hypocracy.

But sadly we know what these people are doing and will never compromise, because
we walk with Jesus, our resurrected Lord, Amen.

If I am arrogant to believe Christ and the apostles and what they wrote and lived,
then amen, this is the power of life and salvation.

Indeed LOVE is not the problem SIN is.
It is the construct of every theological trap when answers are provided that short circuit
repentance. Once people believe they are forgiven no matter how badly they sin, they
will never gain sight of God, or the way to truth, or real love and communion, because the
answer has been discarded even though they claim to know Jesus there is no sorrow in sin
or fear in changing Gods word, or in disobeying judgments that warn the lake of fire is the
end of this road.

And not surprisingly their biggest target is bible believing followers of Jesus, who listen
to His words. No more needs to be said, because they have locked themselves into their
rebellion and will never be free, simply because their blindness is caused by unresolved sin
in their hearts. No argument, no words of scripture, will change this reality, unless they
acknowledge and resolve the issues they feel condemned about. But the longer they
sear their consciences the less they will hear the voice of love and life, and the more
lost they will become.

Grace and peace to you, Amen.

Hence the "plenteous in number" grouping that does not make the cut...Lord, Lord have WE NOT DONE......you know why this is so false...because any work that will meet God's standard is the result of Jesus through us as a living sacrifice and why HE GETS ALL THE GLORY!
You miss the point of the scripture Decon. These lip service folks did all kinds of works in Jesus name, but they refused to follow the instructions God set before them. It wasn't what the self proclaimed "Christians" did, it's what they DIDN"T do that cost them their salvation.

"23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

Iniquity is sin, and sin is not following God's Instruction. We are free to do many things, but rejecting God's Holy Word's isn't one of them as Jesus is teaching here.

With all this discussion about the sabbath I started to wonder . If we are to keep it Holy should we not determine where the actual day begins. We should not think that the current international dateline is where it begins. That line was set by man for our convenience. It was placed in a remote area to lessen the impact to governments and commerce . When early sabbath observers realized a need to correctly observe the date when traveling the world they set a location 90 deg east word of the temple in Jerusalem for the line . That has its drawbacks. It splits much of Asia and Australia. One side is Saturday the other is Sunday. They later went with the rest of the world and set it out in the pacific. So where is God’s dateline? Let’s get it right . The current one is set for ease of the worlds governments and commerce ( making money ) .

Hi!!!
Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Hi Bill, great question,

You must always take when possible your questions to God's Word so I will point you only to God's Word. But you must always pray and ask God to be your teacher as he promises to be your guide and teacher if you ask him to.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.

John 16:13, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.

John 7:17, If any man willeth to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself.

HOW TO KEEP THE SABBATH?

Like all all of God's 10 Commandments none of us can obey them without Jesus because we are all SINNERS in need of a Saviour. God's LAW shows us all that we are all sinners in need of a Savior and leads is to the Cross in order to find Jesus. As we seek first for God's KINGDOM God will put the desire in you for REPENTANCE from SIN and lead you by FAITH to BELIEVE Gods' WORD. When yiou BELIEVE God's promises that Jesus has forgiven you. You are indeed forgiven and cleansed from your SINS

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This is only the beginning of our walk. SIN originates in the mind and here is where the battle starts and temptation occurs where we must fight the good fight.

ABIDING in him we sin not (known sin). We will sin when we do not ABIDE in him and are drawn away after our own lusts and give in to temptation to sin (in our thopughts and feelings).

It is only by ABIDING IN him that any of us can bear fruit. Without Jesus we can do nothing at all except SIN. That is why we need a Saviour to save us from our SINS. God's LAW shows us our need of our Saviour so we can seek him for Salvation. The Good news is that we have a Saviour that can save us from the power of SIN to those who BELIEVE in his WORD. If the Son shall set you free you shall be free indeed.

Temptation begins in the mind and this is where the battle begins in those who have FAITH in God's promises. The Gospel of Christ is the POWER of God unto salvation from SIN is all those who BELIEVE.

Those living a life of KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN do not KNOW God's POWER to save a sinner and are still in their SINS.

WHY am I telling you this? We need to seek Jesus and grow in GRACE thorugh FAITH and LOVE. We cannot follow God unless we seek him personall through His WORD and prayer and BELIEVING his promises to save us.

We need to be BORN AGAIN to LOVE as he first LOVED US because LOVE is the fulfilling (doing) of the LAW in those who BELIEVE. This is the NEW COVENANT PROMISE (see Romans 13:8-10; Hebrews 8:10-12; James 3:8-12; Romans 8:1-4; 1 John 3:3-9)

How does all this relate to keeping God's 4th Commandment or anyo of God's Commandments?

ABIDING in Jesus means to BELIEVE his Word in your heart (mind thoughts and feelings) to resist temtations to SIN. LOVE comes through FAITH in God's WORD from the operation of GOD

We follow Jesus and keep his Commandments because we LOVE Jesus NOT because we are SAVED by them and is why Jesus says; If you LOVE me keep my commandments (John 14:15).

HOW TO KEEP GOD'S 4th COMMANDMENT THROUGH LOVE

Exodus 20

8, Remember the SABBATH DAY , to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day; He knew his professed people would forget it)
9, Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10, But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God : in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY : wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT

*So the Sabbath Commandments says to REMEMBER the SABBATH DAY TO KEEP IT A HOLY DAY IN REMEMBERANCE OF THE GOD OF CREATION.

When does the Sabbath start according to God's WORD?

Genesis 1:4-5 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

*According to God's time the SABBATH is the SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK and starts from the EVENING to SUNSET. The SEVENTH DAY of the WEEK according to the Hebrew calander is FRIDAY SUNSET to SATURDAY SUNSET. This is God's Sabbath time. So it does not matter where you are in the World.

Why was the Sabbath made?

* Mark 2: 27, And he said unto them, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN, and not man for the Sabbath.

God has set this time aside for you as a special time to spend with him and to REST IN him in celebration of CREATION and whoship. NO Work is to be done on this day. This includes no shopping (this is considered business and work), no household chores incuding cooking and other work that can be done on any other day of the week.

To do this we need to prepare for the Sabbath all things needed to keep the Sabbath HOLY is prepared before the Sabbath time starts. Many people use all week to prepare for the Sabbath but most consider FRIDAY (thursday evening to Friday evening) the preparation day where we do all things like shopping, housework chores, cooking so these do not need to be done on God's Sabbath (see Exodus 16:4-5; Mark 15:42; John 19:31)

What do we do on God's Sabbath?

God's Sabbath is a day of REST and set aside for GOD's worship and remembering the God of creation.

* Meeting with like minded believers to worship God (
Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21;Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2)

* Spend time in nature if you like remembering God's Creation (Matt 12:1)

*It is a day for also doing good to others (
Matt 10-12; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56),

* RESTING from work (Exodus 20:8-11) spending time together with GOD.

Practical examples;

Sabbath for us is a delight sometimes we go to Church and fellowship with like minded believers in the Morning till lunch time.

Sometimes we take REST, the day is dedicated to GOD for prayer bible study; praise and worship.

Othertimes we may choose to spend time taking the kids on a nature trip to see God's creation. Other times we may simply choose to stay home and rest and spend time with God at home in prayer and bible study.

There is so much to do (NOT WORK) or not to do dedicating the time with GOD is a blessing.

Well my friend hope this helps to point you in the right direction. God's will guide you are you seek him throught His WORD and prayer. Put him first in your LIFE and he will direct your paths.

God bless you as you continue in HIS Words

COL 2:16-17

COL. 2 [16] Let no man therefore judge you in MEAT, or in DRINK, or in respect of an HOLYDAY, or of the NEW MOON, or of the SABBATH DAY(S) <plural>

The above scripture is used by the “many” to distance themselves from Gods sabbath day. But what is Col.2{16} really talking about. Let scripture interpret scripture.

(1) CONTEXT of COL 2:16 is v14. is talking about the Mosaic laws for remission of sin that were shadows pointing to Jesus; not the ten commandments of God’s Law. Nowhere are the 10 commandments mentioned in Col chapter 2.

v11-13 Shadows of Mosaic laws of circumcision of the new heart in Christ

14, BLOTTING OUT < G1813 ἐξαλείφωexaleipho (ex-a-lei'-fō) v.means to rub out, i.e. obliterate, erase>the HANDWRITING < G5498 χειρόγραφονcheirographon (chei-ro'-gra-fon) n.means
something hand-written (“chirograph”), i.e. a manuscript specially, a legal document > of ORDINANCES < G1378 δόγμαdogma (d̮og'-ma) n. meansordinance;civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical laws>that was against us, WHICH WERE AGAINST US, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

v14 reads the handwriting of the ordinances that were against us; God’s LAW written on stone (10 Commandments) are not the handwriting of the ordinances written in the book that were against us. The ORDINANCES referred to here are those written in the Mosaic book of the law that were against us. Not all the book of the law was against us. Those laws that pertained to righteousness were not against us. God’s LAW (10 Commandments) let us know what SIN was if we disobeyed them.

The Ten Commandments are not against us only the statutes and judgement in the Book of the Law in relation to when we sin were (the judgements and penalty for sin the curses for sin).

DEUT 31 [26] Take this Book of the Law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there FOR A WITNESS AGAINST THEE.

DEUT 30 [19] For GOD has said, I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, BLESSINGS AND CURSES: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: [20] That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest OBEY his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD swore unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

CONTEXT of the 2:16-17 is the CIVIL, CEREMONIAL AND ECCLESIASTIC laws contained in ORDINANCES that were against us. This is referring to the penalty for SIN as well as the fulfillment of the Mosaic laws for remission of sin that all pointed to Jesus (shadow laws). Together these were fulfilled in Christ and nailed to the cross.

MATT 27 [50], Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. [51], And, behold, the VEIL OF THE TEMPLE WAS RENT IN TWO FROM TOP TO BOTTOM; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

ISAIAH 1 [10] Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.[11] To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I AM FULL OF THE BURNT OFFERINGS of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.[12] When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?[13] BRING NO MORE VAIN OBLATIONS; incense is an abomination unto me; THE NEW MOONS AND SABBATHS, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.[14] Your new moons and your APPOINTED FEASTS my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

HEBREWS 10 [7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. [8] Above when he said, SACRIFICE AND OFFERING AND BURNT OFFERINGS AND OFFERING FOR SIN THOU WOULDEST NOT, NEITHER HADST PLEASURE THEREIN; WHICH ARE OFFERED BY THE LAW; [9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. HE TAKETH AWAY THE FIRST, THAT HE MAY ESTABLISH THE SECOND. [10] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. [11] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: [12] But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Hebrews 10 explains exactly what Isaiah 1 was speaking about. He takes away the 1st covenant {the meat and drink offerings} and established the 2nd covenant {the body of Christ}

LUKE 22 [19] And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. [20] Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, THIS CUP IS THE NEW TESTAMENT IN MY BLOOD, which is shed for you.

New testament...blood

HEBREWS 9 [1] Then verily THE FIRST COVENANT HAD ALSO ORDINANCES of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. [9] Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;[10] WHICH STOOD ONLY IN MEATS AND DRINKS, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.[12] NEITHER BY THE BLOOD OF GOATS AND CALVES, BUT BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

old covenant...blood of goats.....The meat and drink offerings

HEBREWS 10 [4] FOR IT IS NOT POSSIBLE THAT THE BLOOD OF BULLS AND OF GOATS SHOULD TAKE AWAY SINS.[5] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:[6] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.[7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.[8] Above when he said, sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;[9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. HE TAKETH AWAY THE FIRST, THAT HE MAY ESTABLISH THE SECOND.

EPHESIANS 2 [15] HAVING ABOLISHED in his flesh the enmity, even the LAW OF COMMANDMENTS CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;[16] And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

HEBREWS 13 [9] Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be ESTABLISHED WITH GRACE; NOT WITH MEATS, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. [10] We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. [11] For THE BODIES OF THOSE BEASTS, WHOSE BLOOD is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. [12] WHEREFORE JESUS ALSO, THAT HE MIGHT SANCTIFY THE PEOPLE WITH HIS OWN BLOOD, suffered without the gate.

HEBREWS 8
[2] A MINISTER OF THE SANCTUARY, AND OF THE TRUE TABERNACLE, WHICH THE LORD PITCHED AND NOT MAN. [3] For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. [4] For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: [5] WHO SERVES AS AN EXAMPLE AND SHADOW OF THE HEAVENLY THINGS, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. [6] But now hath HE HAS OBTAINED A MORE EXCELLENT MINISTRY, by how much also he is the mediator of a BETTER COVENANT, WHICH WAS ESTABLISHED ON BETTER PROMISES. [7] For if that FIRST COVENANT HAD BEEN FAULTLESS, THEN NO PLACE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOUGHT FOR A SECOND. [8] For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITHE THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH: [9] Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. [10] For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MINDS, AND WRITE THEM IN THEIR HEARTS and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: [11] And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. [12] For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. [13] In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decays and waxes old is ready to vanish away.

COL. 2 [16]

(2) SUBJECT MATTERofCOL. 2 [16] Let no man therefore judge you in MEAT, or in DRINK, or in respect of an HOLYDAY, or of the NEW MOON, or of the SABBATH DAY(S) <plural>

Compare Col 2:16 with the annual Jewish festivals from the Mosaic laws for remission of sin...

EZEKIEL 45 [17] And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and MEAT offerings, and DRINK offerings, in the FEASTS, and in the NEW MOONS, and in the SABBATHS, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.

All CONTEXT and points 1-4 match perfectly.
Here is a scripture, same exact order as Col.2 [16], MEAT offerings, and DRINK offerings, FEASTS, NEW MOON, and in the SABBATHS.
No doubt what so ever these 2 scriptures are speaking of the same thing. See how that on those days there was a sin offering made. The blood of Christ is now that offering. Col.2 and Zeke 45 are simply speaking of the meat and drink offerings which were written in the law contained within the ORDINANCES which were to take place on Gods holy days, new moons and His sabbath days.

But now we are no longer under the law of Moses concerning the meat and drink offerings of Gods holy days, new moons and the sabbaths. Jesus fulfilled the law. We are now under grace.

JOHN 6 [53] Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. [54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. [55] For MY FLESH IS MEAT INDEED, and MY BLOOD IS DRINK INDEED.

When we let scripture interpret scripture its very clear what Col.2 is speaking about. The meat and drink offerings of those days are no longer to be kept.

NUMBERS 28 [9] And on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour for a MEAT OFFERING, mingled with oil, and the DRINK OFFERING thereof: [10] This is the burnt offering of EVERY SABBATH, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

Theres the meat and drink offerings for the sabbath days that Col.2 [16] was speaking of.

EZEKIEL 46 [6] And in the day of the NEW MOON it shall be a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish. [7] And he shall prepare a MEAT OFFERING, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs according as his hand shall attain unto, and an hin of oil to an ephah.

The meat offering for the new moon that was spoken of in Col.2 [16].

LEVITICUS 23 [4] These are THE FEASTS OF THE LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. [5] In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is THE LORD'S PASSOVER. [6] And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread…… [13] And the MEAT OFFERING thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the Lord for a sweet savour: and the DRINK OFFERING thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.

In all the feast days (holy days) meat and drink offerings were written into the laws of commandments contained in the ordinances. The above scripture points out the holy day of passover when Jesus was crucified.

HEBREWS 9
[1] Then verily THE FIRST COVENANT HAD ALSO ORDINANCES of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary....

The first covenant had ORDINANCES which stood ONLY in meat and drink offerings which were a figure. A shadow

EPH.2 [15] HAVING ABOLISHED in his flesh the enmity, even the LAW OF COMMANDMENTS CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; [16] And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

EZEKIEL 46 [14] And thou shalt prepare a meat offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a MEAT OFFERING continually by a perpetual ORDINANCE unto the LORD.

HEBREWS 10 [1] For THE LAW HAVING A SHADOW of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with THOSE SACRIFICES WHICH THEY OFFERED YEAR BY YEAR continually make the comers thereunto perfect.[2] For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. [3] But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.[4] For IT IS NOT POSSIBLE THAT THE BLOOD OF BULLS AND OF GOATS SHOULD TAKE AWAY SINS.

Hebrews 10 says it all. The shadow of the law was the offerings (the meat and drink offerings).

NUMBERS 19 [2] This is the ORDINANCE OF THE LAW which the Lord hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:

JOHN 6 [55] For my flesh is MEAT indeed, and my blood is DRINK indeed.

NUMBERS 18 [8] And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, BY AN ORDINANCE for ever.[9] This shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: EVERY OBLATION of theirs, EVERY MEAT OFFERING of theirs, and EVERY SIN OFFERING of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons.

Above scripture confirms that the offerings are also called oblations

Bring no more vain oblations in the new moons and the sabbath and feast days. WHY? Because Jesus nailed these offerings (oblations) to the cross.

HEBREWS 10
[7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. [8] Above when he said, SACRIFICE AND OFFERING AND BURNT OFFERINGS AND OFFERING FOR SIN THOU WOULDEST NOT, NEITHER HADST PLEASURE THEREIN; WHICH ARE OFFERED BY THE LAW; [9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. HE TAKETH AWAY THE FIRST, THAT HE MAY ESTABLISH THE SECOND. [10] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. [11] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: [12] But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Hebrews 10 explains exactly what Isaiah 1 was speaking about. He takes away the 1st covenant {the meat and drink offerings} and established the 2nd covenant {the body of Christ}

The new covenant is all about the blood of Christ. Not changing the law....but fulfilling the law

ZECHARIAH 9 [9] Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, THY KING COMETH UNTO THEE: HE IS JUST, AND HAVING SALVATION; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.[10] And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from river even to the ends of the earth.[11] As for thee also, BY THE BLOOD OF THY COVENANT I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water

Verse 9 definitely prophecies of the coming Jesus. Verse 11, Jesus is called the blood of thy covenant

HEBREWS 12 [23] To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,[24] And to Jesus THE MEDIATOR OF THE NEW COVENANT, AND TO THE BLOOD of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

New covenant...blood

LUKE 22 [19] And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. [20] Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, THIS CUP IS THE NEW TESTAMENT IN MY BLOOD, which is shed for you.

New testament...blood

HEBREWS 9[1] Then verily THE FIRST COVENANT HAD ALSO ORDINANCES of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

HEBREWS [4] FOR IT IS NOT POSSIBLE THAT THE BLOOD OF BULLS AND OF GOATS SHOULD TAKE AWAY SINS.[5] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:[6] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.[7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.[8] Above when he said, sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;[9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. HE TAKETH AWAY THE FIRST, THAT HE MAY ESTABLISH THE SECOND.

He taketh away the first {covenant}, that he may establish the second.

JOHN 6[53] [54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. [55] For MY FLESH IS MEAT INDEED, and MY BLOOD IS DRINK INDEED.

And there is the 2nd

MATTHEW 5 [17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. [18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Jesus did not come to change or destroy the law. The sabbath is still to be kept. He came to fulfil what was written of Him in the books of the law and to END the Mosaic law for remission of SIN and the penalty of SIN in those who BELIEVE. NO MORE Ceremonial/Levitical/Sacrificial laws and animal sacrifices.

Hi Lovegodforever,

The Sabbath seems to be a really big hang up for you, it's all you can talk about (legalists usually do have a pet law!).. Of course, when you believe as you do that those who do not observe the OT Sabbath are not in the Kingdom then I suppose it would be... Legalism is a killer my friend.

Not at all Phil,

SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM. Just trying to help all to be ready for when Jesus returns. Jesus says though Many are called but few are chosen because many love darkenss rather then light because their deeds are evil.

Legalism is beliving you are saved by what you do. This is not the Gospel or what is being shared here.

We are ONLY SAVED by GRACE through FAITH and NOT of ourselves it is a GIFT of GOD and NOT of WORKS lest any man should boast (Eph 2:8). We are all sinners in need of a Savior.

We are NOT saved by keeping God's LAW. Jesus is our Savior FROM SIN not IN SIN. We are all SINNERS who need a Savior to save us. The true GOSPEL is the one that teaches God has POWER to save a SINNER from the power of SIN. It does not teach that God saves the SINNER to continue IN SIN.

Those that teach Salvation is IN SIN are teaching another Gospel which was the fist LIE told in the Garden of Eden by the devil (If you break God's Commandment you will NOT surely die but be as God knowing good and evil)

LOVE is the FULFILLING of God's LAW in those who BELIEVE. If you LOVE Jesus you will keep his COMMANDMENTS (John 14:15).

If you do not you will continue in SIN. This is why unless you are born again you will NOT see the KINGDOM of heaven. SIN will keep all who KNOWINGLY practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM.

However if your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE then you are still in your SINS because you have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son (Hebrews 10:26-27; Hebrews 6:4-8; Romans 6:23)

IF your tree has NO FRUIT then it is cast down and thrown into the FIRE (Matt 7:12-23)

Many teach the false gospel that God will save you if you continue in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN. This is not the power of God unto salvation from SIN. Many do not KNOW what GRACE and FAITH are for...

WHAT IS GRACE FOR?

Romans 1
5,
By whom we have received GRACE and apostleship, FOR OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name.

Romans 6
1, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that GRACE may abound? GOD FORBID. 2, How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

DOES FAITH ABOLISH GOD'S LAW?

Romans 3
31
, Do we then ABOLISH THE LAW THROUGH FAITH? GOD FORBID: YES, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW.

SIN is breaking God's 10 Commandments (1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7). Those who CONTINUE IN KNOWN SIN do not KNOW GOD and will not ENTER the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

...................

OT Sabbath should be moved to a different thread. The topic being discussed here is; Saved by Grace, "Not By Works"

Hi Lovegodforever,

Your just dealing in double talk (doublespeak). Again, your are not fooling anyone with your double speak. We all know what you mean by the 'SIN' that will keep you out of heaven.. And of course that 'SIn' that will keep you out of heaven is not observing the OT Sabbath...

You have an unhealthy obsession with the OT Sabbath.. which should be a strong warning sign to anyone reading your posts. Mind you I don't think there are many taking any notice of your posts..which is good :)

SIN is the transgression of God's LAW. Those who continue in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into God's KINGDOM.

All this means is to turn from their unbelief, into believing in God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, being changed by knowing that they can have a relationship with God, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

See the Lord Jesus Christ has already paid for the transgressed law, that us humans could never uphold, but He, Jesus Christ, held the law perfectly, and died for the price of sin, that had been failing to be paid for through out the years of sacrificing animals, God decided to send His us his only Word, His only Son our Lord and Saviour the Messiah, to pay the price of sin for everyone, and He did that once and for all of the world (everyone in the world).

Jesus Christ was the perfect sacrifice and with Him dying on the cross, and being rose again by God on the third day signifies, that after we all die in this life, all people will be resurrected.

When Jesus Christ paid for sin, God was pleased, because Jesus Christ paid for the price of sin to be paid for,
that we may be able to believe on His name, and be able to have an open relationship with Him, and His Father in heaven, who is now our Father in heaven because we place our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ .

The more we grow in knowledge about God, and the Lord Jesus Christ the more we remember by the holy spirit that indwells us every day, we can remember things we are taught in the bible.

The Greatest commandment is that of Love.

1 John 3:23 and this is His command, that we may believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and may love one another, even as He did give command to us,
