man will not be justified or saved by works or the law

Galatians 2:16
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

_____________

Romans 3:20-23
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

it is not YOUR righteousness you will be judged by regarding salvation IF HIS SEED IS IN YOU (you are born again... He has taken root)

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

john 6

37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Romans 10
10 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

. . .You cannot show me one single version of the Bible that is printed "exactly" as shown above. Not one. There is no BIBLE written as "works/deeds", not one single version is presented exactly as that. . . .

Romans 3:20 (KJV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:28 (KJV)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Romans 3:20 (HCSB)

[SUP]20 [/SUP] For no one will be justified in His sight by the works of the law, because the knowledge of sin ⌊comes⌋ through the law.
Romans 3:28 (HCSB)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] For we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Romans 3:20 (NKJV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:28 (NKJV)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

Romans 3:20 (NASB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:28 (NASB)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.

Romans 3:20 (NCV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] because no one can be made right with God by following the law. The law only shows us our sin.
Romans 3:28 (NCV)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] A person is made right with God through faith, not through obeying the law.

Romans 3:20 (NIV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
Romans 3:28 (NIV)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law.

Romans 3:20 (NJB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] So then, no human being can be found upright at the tribunal of God by keeping the Law; all that the Law does is to tell us what is sinful.
Romans 3:28 (NJB)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] since, as we see it, a person is justified by faith and not by doing what the Law tells him to do.

Romans 3:20 (YLT)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] wherefore by works of law shall no flesh be declared righteous before Him, for through law is a knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:28 (YLT)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] therefore do we reckon a man to be declared righteous by faith, apart from works of law.

Romans 3:20 (MontgomeryNT)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] For no man will be justified in God’s sight by works of the Law; for through the Law comes the consciousness of sin.
Romans 3:28 (MontgomeryNT)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] For I conclude that a man is justified by faith, altogether apart from the deeds of the Law.

It is no surprise to see the truth tellers being attacked on this thread. It has happened on nearly every thread I've see here so far. Truth tellers are being attacked all over this world. I don't know why I expected it to be any different on this site. I guess it was just wishful thinking in the beginning, but I have been here long enough now to see exactly how it is. Not a problem. People are constantly calling others names, acting like children, then claiming it is Christ leading their minds. Well, it is not Christ leading their minds to do those things at all. Those people are seriously fooling themselves to believe that it is. We will now see how truth reveals itself on this thread in the coming pages.

3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

dc's words.
Therefore we conclude a man is justified by faith without the works/deeds of the law.

No one has presented any scripture from any Bible worded exactly as above. Therefore, it is NOT scripture, but it is a man's words and summation of scripture.

Would it matter if I was 73, 83 or 123 ? Makes no difference concerning who is properly presenting the Bible here now does it ?
it does make a difference if youre lying while trying to push some wicked doctrine that attempts to steal glory from God and give it to self

(not that you have any power to change those who are rooted in Christ)

i am not sure what you believe

but you seem to have the same boastful puffed up snarky attitude the pharisee would have

(or any other trying to establish their own righteousness)

maybe youre just not used to fellowship

anyways

based on your answer

it seems you lied when you posted your age

and you are not 93

You are completely missing the point here my friend. I know what the Bible means, that is not the question here. The point is that when scripture is not printed "exactly" as written, then it is no longer scripture. You are not paying close enough attention to what dc said ( works/deeds ). There is no scripture printed in that exact manner, therefore it is man's words and not scripture. He changed the scripture, making it no longer scripture.

I’m ignoring you because every thread I’ve seen so far is an accusation. And I know who’s works are to accuse the brethren.
