I have found that people often allow whispers and lies to separate then from the flock. Wolves will lure a lone sheep away for the slaughter.
A common appeal is to their pride...to tell them they have secret wisdom that others don't and make them feel superior or distrusting or others.
It's sad to see.
All one can say is don't wander away with the shining stranger and then pray.

What is Mk 16:26-20?
1 Corinthians 12:7-10
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
Acts 1:5
5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
I can't see how salvation depends on us given the above verses.

I have already explained the ONE BAPTISM, and it is not Christian Water BAPTISM.
It is Spiritual BAPTISM, where the Holy Spirit IMMERSES you into the Spiritual Body of Christ.
