Good Morning decon, I'd say you have gone way more than the, "extra mile", with poster Shama. Just on yesterdays pages you asked him, "do you keep the law, yes or no", at least "10 times", with no answer, shameful.

let me guess- you agree with studydude that the Pharisees were satan worshipers, pushing the Babylonian mystery religions instead of the Torah.
I believe in the Word's of the Word which became Flesh.

John 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

You might not believe in this Messiah, that is a choice you must make. But is it wise to ridicule those who do?

Not all the pharisees were bad, but most of them lost their way, I believe Yahshua/Jesus made tis very very clear.

Matthew 23:27-33,27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are like whitewashed tombs which outwardly indeed look well, but inside are filled with dead men’s bones and all uncleanness."28 “So you too outwardly indeed appear righteous to men, but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness. 29 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous,"30 and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have taken part with them in the blood of the prophets.’"31 “Thus you bear witness against yourselves that you are sons of those who did murder the prophets –"32 and you fill up the measure of your fathers!"33 “Serpents, brood of adders! How would you escape the judgment of GĕHinnom?"

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Mark 7:1-9, ““Well did Yeshayahu prophesy concerning you hypocrites, as it has been written, ‘This people respect Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrine the commands of men.’ Forsaking the command of YHWH, you hold fast the tradition of men. And He said to them, “Well do you set aside the command of YHWH, in order to guard your tradition."[/FONT]

If we are speaking factually Judaisim is not based in the word, if you read it, it literally says "we do not listen to a voice in heaven" and "we have divine right to make Law since the Torah has already been given"

Most do not know this or ignore it, yet EVERY miracle Yahshua did He upheld YHWH's Laws and broke the Talmud laws. Are all Jews bad? No they are not, is the religion based upon the words of YHWH? In fact no, it is based on the takanot and ma'asim of the pharisee types.

Im not saying my exact wording needs to be applied, but to say this concept is not true is blatant falsehood, no matter if one believes in obedience to YHWH or not.

This is falsehhod, I did answer, and he has asked me this over and over week by week and I answer ever time, you are not being honest or you are making false witness by speaking on a mtter you have not looked into. I have said numerous times I have sinned and most likely will sin again. Sin is transgression of the Law. This does not make YHWH's Instructions invalid because I am not perfect. You might not believe in this Messiah, that is a choice you must make. But is it wise to ridicule those who do?
it is not wise to take one snip of one thing that Jesus said, and go off and build a whole doctrine around it. not wise at all.

you can believe this or not, I don't care, but.. I have looked at a lot of the stuff that you have about the Pharisee issues. I know the conspiracy theory, I just choose not to believe it, because it is not Biblical, and no scholar that I have ever read says it.

you can claim you get this strictly from the Bible, ( I wonder if you know the history of how the Bible came to be, if you do, you know what I am aiming at), but I beg to differ.

Was that church in Ohio by any chance?

It was in Auburn, CA., so you can understand when I say it was the most popular Church in town. No Liberalists wanted to set foot in our Church, even though they were invited. About 30 minutes of music, and prayer, with 55-60 minutes devoted to expositing the WORD. YES, they certainly believed in FEEDING THE SHEEP. And then almost nobody actually went home right after Church; most of us went out to the Courtyard for fellowship that included coffee, kool-aid, cookies, and rolls, served by our Youth Group.

Ok so I will ask again...does keeping the law help with your salvation? Yes or no
NO!

Titus 3:5-7 (NCV)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] he saved us because of his mercy. It was not because of good deeds we did to be right with him. He saved us through the washing that made us new people through the Holy Spirit.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] God poured out richly upon us that Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ our Savior.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Being made right with God by his grace, we could have the hope of receiving the life that never ends.

OH! You did not ask me.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Heb 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

1Pe 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
1Pe 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation(does not sin): for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him(all the saints for there will be no person in heaven that does not love Jesus).

1Co 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
1Co 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

adokimos
ad-ok'-ee-mos
From G1 (as a negative particle) and G1384; unapproved, that is, rejected; by implication worthless (literally or morally): - castaway, rejected, reprobate.

1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Jas 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
Jas 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
Jas 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

1Jn 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

What is there to not understand for the scriptures are clear.

Faith alone, and not saved by works, when we confess Christ, for that is all we can do,and when we receive the Spirit then we have to have works of the Spirit for faith to be effective in our life.

Mat 15:17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
Mat 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
Mat 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Mat 15:20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

1Co 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

We cannot abstain from sin,and sin does not affect our relationship with God,does not apply, for we can abstain from sin if we hate sin,and do not want to sin,and allow the Spirit to lead us,and there is no excuse.

However we think, and what we do,defines us,so if they think sin,or do sin, then that is what is in our heart,so how do they say they are clean inside and sin does not affect their relationship with God.

They say if we have the Spirit we will do works, then why the lack, and the holding unto sin among many that believe faith alone, and not saved by works.

2Ti 3:4 lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

All sin can be forgiven, but we see many people that claim faith alone, not saved by works, holding unto sin and thinking they are alright with God.

People need to keep their fleshy interpretations out of the Bible.

2Co 6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed.

At least abstain from sin for the sake of the people around you,and so they cannot say the Christians are hypocrites, and more people would consider Christianity.

What do I mean by a conservative evangelical style of Church?

It is a Church that believes that the TEACHING OF THE WORD OF GOD, should always dominate the Worship Service.

And they do not ordain women, because God has for bidden it, 1 Tim. 2:11-12.

Their are some minor issues that are also different from being conservative evangelical Church, and the liberal evangelical Church, that I will not mention here, because it has been my experience, it always leads to arguments.

Biggest joke I ever heard right there. YOU stating someone is unwilling to admit error ? Your continued slander is an error. And your misquoting of the Bible and pretending it to be an actual verse was another error. How many times have you deceived people on here by doing that ? This time you were caught. Exactly what's aroused your anger so much.
It is obvious that you don't understand!! He is right and the world is wrong!!

Not even the Jews to whom the Law was given could keep it.

"Not even those who are circumcised Keep the Law..." (Galatians 6:13)

It's like these people are reading a whole different Bible!
Amen brother.....that which condemns has never made one righteous nor will it....blows my mind how they cannot in honesty say that they do not keep the law...because that one truth destroys their false blend of faith and law...

I am sad to say too many denominations have become secular. This is true of the 7 sisters main line denominations. Maybe 1/4 of the denominations teach the gospel. Each of the 7 sisters has sub denominations that were created to teach the gospel. For example Presbyterian USA has Presbyterian PCA. Lutheran has Lutheran Missouri Synod. Gary North wrote a book called Crossed Fingers about the secular take over of Presbyterian USA by 1932. That is when the last believing minister controlling a pot of money was defrocked to get access to that money. It was mission money.

Too many don't know what the law is!! There are groups of laws that apply only to select people. For instance men, women, those living in Israel, etc. Look at the list they are defined there.

List of the 613 laws in the Torah
All 613 Commandments in the Old Testament Law of Moses

You have not answered a single question of mine yet you sit as grand inquisitior...

Yes I have broken YHWH Law. As I answer you every time.

This does not mean I then throw it in the trash.

1 John 1:8-10, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us."

1 John 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."

1 John 2:1-2, "My little children, I write these things to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father: Yahshua Messiah, the Righteous; and He is the sacrifice of atonement for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."

1 Yahanan /John 2:3-7, “And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Yah has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Psalm 119:11, “I have treasured up Your word in my heart, That I might not sin against You.”

Thanks be to YHWH, while I am yet still not perfect, I do not live a life controlled, havey laden and continually in sin;

It is obvious that you don't understand!! He is right and the world is wrong!!
Congrats you just sided with falsehood and stood against the truth...but we already know that is your modus operandi

The verse he is denying

Therefore, we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the works/deeds of the law.

The word Ergon is translated works or deeds and means both and it was biblical to put both in the verse.....

You called good evil and evil good....no wonder by your stance!

Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.”

Psalm 119:11, “I have treasured up Your word in my heart, That I might not sin against You.”

Thanks be to YHWH, while I am yet still not perfect, I do not live a life controlled, havey laden and continually in sin;
