Amen! You don't baptize lost unbelievers in order to make them saved disciples, but because they are saved disciples.
That is right, you do not baptize lost unbelievers, you baptize whosoever believes in Jesus, just like he said.
Remember Mark 16:16

Remember Mark 16:16

Mark 16 does not say be baptised, is says they were baptised,

i was. By god, into christ, his death and burial.

so i fulfilled mark 16 without touching water.

All I can say is what the bible says: Jesus said, whoever believes and is baptized shall be saved. You take it from there.

I think you are the person that said God would not condemn you for not forgiving everyone their sins against you. Well, be careful with God's word. You seem to be willing to bend here a little and bend there a little so that you can fit Paul's grace preaching with the Jesus's good works preaching.
i was baptised, by god, just as john the baptist fortold, as jesus said i would, paul said occured, and as peter witnessed.

Water baptism had nothing to do with it, that came a year later

I believe Jesus' simple words as well, along with the rest of the verse - "but he who does not believe will be condemned." It's the lack of belief that causes condemnation, not the lack of baptism. We must not build doctrine on one half of one verse or ignore the fact that Jesus left out baptism in John 3:15,16,18; 5:24; 6:29,40,47; 11:25,26.

John 3:18 - He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who (is not water baptized? - NO) does not believe is condemned already, because he has not (been water baptized? - NO) because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Those who do not believe in Jesus will not be baptized. This does not include, as you say, cult Christian churches who believe baptism is necessary, for even in those cult Christian churches the members were born of the spirit, in order to believe in Jesus, then they are baptized by water immersion, just like you did. So those who do not believe in Jesus are just that. They don't believe in Jesus. Why should they go out and be baptized?

Jesus did not need to address baptism for those that are damned for not believing.

If your dalvation was made possible because of it your boasting, you saved yourself by the work. Period
I am save by a combination of Jesus's grace, trust in Jesus's promise and gift, and faith in Jesus which is accompanied by good works. Good works does not save any man. But a lack of good works may damn him, because he is not doing what Jesus commanded him to do.

Straw man argument. Obedience to all of Christ's commands is what we are to strive for as Christians, yet none of us live a sinless, without fault or defect, flawless, absolute perfect life (exactly as Jesus lived) 100% of the time. Maybe you believe that you do?
I do not live a sinless life. But I do strive to live the commands of Jesus as best I can. If I fall, I repent and ask for forgiveness. If I am truly trying to do my best, Jesus will know that, then the grace of Jesus will make up the shortfall and will give me eternal life.

If I am thinking that Jesus did it all, and I will do no good works for some fear of boasting or taking my eye off the cross, then I think you will miss the mark, ignoring the full words of Jesus, which will be dangerous to you and your members.

Titus 1:15-16 To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. THEY CLAIM TO KNOW GOD, BUT BY THEIR ACTIONS THEY DENY HIM. THEY ARE DETESTABLE, DISOBEDIENT AND UNFIT FOR DOING ANYTHING GOOD.

Jude 1:14-19 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage. But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

Motivation for doing good works is love and gratitude (not pride and expectation) that Jesus will save us based on the merits of our best performance. Believers are created in Christ Jesus unto good works that we should walk in them. Genuine believers do not take their eyes off the cross or ignore the words of Jesus.

Hebrews 9:27-28 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ
was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time,
not to bear sin, but TO BRING SALVATION to those who are WAITING for him.

Romans 8:24-25 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all.
Who hopes for what he already has? But IF WE HOPE FOR WHAT WE DO NOT HAVE
YET we wait for it patiently.

2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For
WHAT IS SEEN IS TEMPORARY, but WHAT IS UNSEEN IS ETERNAL.
THERE ARE SOME ON THIS FORUM WHO CLAIM TO HAVE ALREADY POSSESSED
ETERNAL SALVATION. DO THEY NO LONGER WAIT FOR THE LORD TO BRING THEM
SALVATION SINCE THEY ALREADY POSSESS IT? ARE THEY NOT GOING TO FACE
JUDGMENT ANYMORE?

Philippians 3:12-16 NOT that I have already OBTAINED all this, or have ALREADY BEEN
MADE PERFECT, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting
what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward THE GOAL to win the
prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are MATURE
should take such a view of things. And if on some point YOU THINK DIFFERENTLY, that too
God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have ALREADY ATTAINED.

1 Peter 1:9 for you are receiving THE GOAL OF YOUR FAITH, the SALVATION of your
souls.

SALVATION IS THE GOAL OF THOSE WHO ARE WAITING FOR HIM, THE CHURCH
WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST OF WHICH HE IS THE SAVIOR.
OSAS IS A FALSE MANMADE DOCTRINE THAT NULLIFIES THE WORD OF GOD.

Mark 7:6-13 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it
is written: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They
worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’ You have let go of the
commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men.” And he said to them:
“YOU HAVE A FINE WAY OF SETTING ASIDE THE COMMANDS OF GOD in order to
observe your own traditions! For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and,
‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’ But you say that if a man
says to his father or mother: ‘Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me
is Corban’ (that is, a gift devoted to God), then YOU NO LONGER LET HIM DO ANYTHING for his father or mother. THUS YOU NULLIFY THE WORD OF GOD by your tradition that
you have handed down. AND YOU DO MANY THINGS LIKE THAT.”
JESUS SAID;
“If you love me, you will obey what I command.” john 14:15
…” If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.”matthew 19:17
“ Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me
will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” Then Judas (not
Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”
Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we
will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my
teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.” john
14:21-24
THIS FALSE MANMADE DOCTRINE TEACHES THAT OBEDIENCE TO GOD IS JUST A
WORK THAT MAN CAN DO BUT HAVE NO PART, NEITHER ESSENTIAL NOR NECESSARY
FOR SALVATION WHICH CONTRADICTS THE FF:
Hebrews 5:7-9 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with
loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of
his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered
and, once made perfect, he became the source of ETERNAL SALVATION FOR ALL WHO
OBEY HIM.
A QUOTE FROM ElAmor’s POST
2 John 1:4-11 It has given me great joy to find some of your children WALKING IN THE TRUTH,
just as the Father COMMANDED US. And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command
but one we have had FROM THE BEGINNING. I ask that we love one another. And this is love:
that we WALK IN OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS. As you have heard from the beginning,
his command is that you WALK IN LOVE. Many DECEIVERS, who do not acknowledge Jesus
Christ as COMING IN THE FLESH, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the
DECEIVER and the ANTICHRIST. Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for,
but that you may be rewarded fully. Anyone who RUNS AHEAD and DOES NOT CONTINUE in
the TEACHING OF CHRIST does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both
the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him. Anyone who welcomes him SHARES IN HIS WICKED
WORK.
Who are those RUNNING AHEAD and DOES NOT CONTINUE IN THE TEACHING OF
CHRIST?
They are those who CLAIM SALVATION is by Faith ALONE and ONCE SAVED they are
ALWAYS SAVED therefore rejecting God’s Laws and commands which are in fact God’s own
words. says that even obedience to God cannot save anyone because they are works and
Faith ALONE saves.
Who then is the deceiver and the ANTICHRIST?
They are those who do not continue in the teaching about WALKING IN LOVE which is
WALKING IN OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS. Who do not acknowledge Jesus as coming in
the flesh by the mere fact that they reject the LAW that prophesied about Jesus as coming in
the flesh.
1 John 2:1-6 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin,
we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is
the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. THE MAN WHO SAYS, “I
KNOW HIM,” BUT DOES NOT DO WHAT HE COMMANDS IS A LIAR, AND THE TRUTH IS
NOT IN HIM. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is
how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him MUST WALK AS JESUS DID.””””””””
WE ARE TO WORK OUT OUR OWN SALVATION NOT AS INDIVIDUALS WORKING FOR HIS
OWN SALVATION BUT AS ONE BODY IN CHRIST(eph 4:1-16) WORKING AS GOOD AND
FAITHFUL SERVANTS OF GOD(mat 25:14-30) WHO ARE LIVING ACCORDING TO THE
SPIRIT AND NOT ACCORDING TO THE SINFUL NATURE.(rom 8:1-17) WE HONOR AND
GLORIFY GOD BY THESE WORKS OF LOVE, FAITH AND OBEDIENCE THAT BEARS
GOOD FRUITS THAT WILL LAST..(john 15:6-17)
Luke 3:9 the ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good
fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”
1 Peter 1:3-7 Praise to God for a living hope Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a LIVING HOPE through the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil
or fade—kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the SALVATION THAT IS READY TO BE REVEALED IN THE LAST TIME. In this you
greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though
refined by fire—may be PROVED GENUINE and may result in praise, glory and honor when
Jesus Christ is revealed.
2 Peter 1:5-11 For this very reason, make every effort to ADD TO YOUR FAITH goodness; and
to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and
to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness,
love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being
INEFFECTIVE and UNPRODUCTIVE in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone
does not have them, he is nearsighted and BLIND, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed
from his PAST SINS. Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling
and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a
rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:1-3 To the Church in Sardis “To the angel of the church in Sardis write:
These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I
know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but YOU ARE DEAD. Wake up!
Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in
the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; OBEY IT
AND REPENT. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at
what time I will come to you.
Galatians 6:7-8 DO NOT BE DECEIVED, GOD CANNOT BE MOCKED. A man reaps what
he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap
destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
John 7:17-18 If anyone chooses to do God’s will, he will find out whether my teaching comes
from
God or whether I speak on my own. He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for
himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there
is nothing false about him.
Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?
James 4:17 Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.
“DEAD FAITH CANNOT SAVE” ))james 2:14-26)
“LET GOD BE TRUE AND EVERY MAN A LIAR” rom 3:4

Closer than you have ever been. NOW if you can just believe, YOU ARE SAVED BY GRACE {something you can NEVER earn and do not deserve}, the moment you genuinely BELIEVE, {the instant that the HOLY SPIRIT came into to your heart, and poured GOD's Love into your HEART}. It is that GODLY LOVE that WILL Always produce Love for GOD and the Brethren, and LOVE for GOD is defined as a Willing Hearts that WANTS to OBEY the LORD. AND when we fail, we willing want to confess is as sin. Thus obedience is PART OF OUR LOVE, including Receiving HIM as LORD of our life.

Philippians 1:6 (NCV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] God began doing a good work {born again} in you, and I am sure HE will continue it until it is finished when Jesus Christ comes again.

1 John 2:19 (HCSB)
[SUP]19 [/SUP] They went out from us, but they did not belong to us {because they never were born again}; for if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. However, they went out so that it might be made clear that none of them belongs to us.

John 14:15 (HCSB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] “If you love Me, you will keep {Because of the NEW NATURE in the born again human spirit, which the Holy Spirit birthed into our HEARTS along with GOD's LOVE.} My commands.

If you can Believe all of that, YOU HAVE ARRIVED AT THE TRUTH.

Jesus had both non-born again, and those who were born again following HIM. What happened to the NON-BORN AGAIN FOLLOWERS.

Matthew 4:25 (HCSB)
[SUP]25 [/SUP] Large crowds followed Him from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

John 6:66-67 (NCV)
[SUP]66 [/SUP] After Jesus said this, many of his followers left him and stopped following him.
[SUP]67 [/SUP] Jesus asked the twelve followers, “Do you want to leave, too?“

I believe that Receiving HIM as LORD and MASTER, is the entrance to the NARROW GATE.

Matthew 7:13-14 (NCV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] “Enter through the narrow gate. The gate is wide and the road is wide that leads to hell, and many people enter through that gate.
[SUP]14 [/SUP] But the gate is small and the road is narrow that leads to true life. Only a few people find that road.

Titus 3:5 He saved us not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to His
mercy, by the washing of regeneration, and by the renewing of the Holy Ghost,

THE RIHTEOUSNEßS OF THE JEWS WAS THROUGH THE LAW.

Deuteronomy 6:24-25 The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord
our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today. And if we are
careful to obey all this law before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, THAT WILL BE
OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRISTIANS (NEW CREATION/MAN) IS THROUGH FAITH.

Romans 9:30-32 What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness,
have obtained it, A RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT IS BY FAITH; but ISRAEL, who pursued a law of
righteousness, has not attained it. Why not? Because they pursued it NOT BY FAITH but as if it
were by works. THEY stumbled over the “stumbling stone.”
“NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH WE HAD DONE" REFERS TO THE
RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE JEWS WHICH WAS THROUGH THE LAW. (titus 3:5, eph 2:8-9)

Romans 9:4-5 the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.

Ephesians 2:11-22 One in Christ Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (that done in the body by the hands of men)— remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

PAUL’S QUESTION IS:

Romans 3:31 Do we, then, NULLIFY the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the
law.

HE ALSO SAID,

Romans 3:3-4 What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith NULLIFY God’s
faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that you may
be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.”
GOD PUTS AND WRITES THE LAW IN OUR HEARTS AND MINDS.

Hebrews 8:10 This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares
the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and
they will be my people.

Hebrews 10:16 “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will
put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”

...NOT JUST TO THE JEWS WHO WERE CIRCUMCISED IN THE FLESH BUT ALSO TO
THOSE WHO WERE CIRCUMCISED IN THE HEART.

Romans 2:28-29 A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely
outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is
CIRCUMCISION OF THE HEART, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise
is not from men, but from God.
AND CHRISTIANS ARE ABLE TO FULFILL AND UPHOLD THE LAW IN THEIR HEARTS AND
MINDS BECAUSE OF THE LOVE THAT WAS POURED INTO THEIR HEARTS.

Romans 5:5 And hope does not disappoint us, because GOD HAS POURED OUT HIS LOVE
INTO OUR HEARTS by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
AND THEREFORE, “LOVE IS THE FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW.”(romans 13:10)

1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we
ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

1 John 5:2-3 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying
out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not
burdensome,

2 John 1:6 AND THIS IS LOVE; THAT WE WALK IN OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS. As
you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you WALK IN LOVE.

Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your HEART that you
BELIEVE and are JUSTIFIED, and it is with your MOUTH that you CONFESS and are
SAVED.

1 John 3:18 Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but WITH ACTIONS AND IN
TRUTH.

Romans 8:4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be FULLY MET IN
US, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

Matthew 10:38 and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

John 14:15 “IF YOU LOVE ME, YOU WILL OBEY WHAT I COMMAND.”

Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

I believe and as a result, was baptized (by god), and as a result was saved at that very moment,

i obeyed god and was baptised in water a year later when i was able.

god did not withhold my salvation untl he pastor decided to have a baptismal where i could be baptised,
Amen EG...My son who is in prison has a desire in his heart to be baptized , a year after he is saved by God`s grace , but due to the prison system , he is holding out until he comes home in a few years because the prison system send in each week different people from the religious service eg Catholic priest etc , none Christian , so my pastor has said if the prison allows it , he will go in and baptize my son , if not then when he gets out , he will baptize him in our local river :)...If my son died tonight , he is still saved by God`s grace , not being baptized will not keep him out from the Kingdom of God , God knows my sons yearning to do the will of God , it will be in God`s timing , not my sons...xox...

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus.
Keeping it simple the Bible states faith without works is dead.
There is no faith without works.
Works doesn't save but no works means no faith.

Does that sound similar to this: [FONT=&quot]The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

Not quite, but similar.[/FONT]
Not even comparable....my boast is in Christ and the assurance of eternal life by grace through faith......not in how Good I am compared to others....you should learn the difference before you put your foot in your mouth again!

That is because you ignore James 2. I posted it before and you rant it doesn't mean what it states. Here it is again in NIV and AMPC my 2 favorite translations. NIV is modern English and AMPC gives more detail by giving multiple meanings of the original language word when needed. AMPC makes for more cumbersome reading but gives better understanding. Verse 26 sums it up

James 2 NIV

Faith and Deeds
14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? 21 Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. 24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.
25 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

James 2 AMPC

14 What is the use (profit), my brethren, for anyone to profess to have faith if he has no [good] works [to show for it]? Can [such] faith save [his soul]?
15 If a brother or sister is poorly clad and lacks food for each day,
16 And one of you says to him, Good-bye! Keep [yourself] warm and well fed, without giving him the necessities for the body, what good does that do?
17 So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead).
18 But someone will say [to you then], You [say you] have faith, and I have [good] works. Now you show me your [alleged] faith apart from any [good] works [if you can], and I by [good] works [of obedience] will show you my faith.
19 You believe that God is one; you do well. So do the demons believe and shudder [in terror and horror such as make a man’s hair stand on end and contract the surface of his skin]!
20 Are you willing to be shown [proof], you foolish (unproductive, spiritually deficient) fellow, that faith apart from [good] works is inactive and ineffective and worthless?
21 Was not our forefather Abraham [shown to be] justified (made acceptable to God) by [his] works when he brought to the altar as an offering his [own] son Isaac?
22 You see that [his] faith was cooperating with his works, and [his] faith was completed and reached its supreme expression [when he implemented it] by [good] works.
23 And [so] the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed in (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on) God, and this was accounted to him as righteousness (as conformity to God’s will in thought and deed), and he was called God’s friend.
24 You see that a man is justified (pronounced righteous before God) through what he does and not alone through faith [through works of obedience as well as by what he believes].
25 So also with Rahab the harlot—was she not shown to be justified (pronounced righteous before God) by [good] deeds when she took in the scouts (spies) and sent them away by a different route?
26 For as the human body apart from the spirit is lifeless, so faith apart from [its] works of obedience is also dead.
You really should quit lying about me and the book of James......it is called context.....and the context does not support your "must have works or is lost drivel"......seriously......the more you lie about my stance on James the more you fit Proverbs 6.....does the "Catholic Creed" you follow allow for deception as a religious tactic?

Your insanity is amazing. I want context from your single verses and now you want context with chapters. Go fly a kite!!

Are you serious. Me or Paul? Try Peter or Paul.
yes i am serious,

either your interpitation of acts is in error, or paul is in error, peter did not make a mistake, if you interpret him correctly he does not contradict paul at sll.

Amen EG...My son who is in prison has a desire in his heart to be baptized , a year after he is saved by God`s grace , but due to the prison system , he is holding out until he comes home in a few years because the prison system send in each week different people from the religious service eg Catholic priest etc , none Christian , so my pastor has said if the prison allows it , he will go in and baptize my son , if not then when he gets out , he will baptize him in our local river :)...If my son died tonight , he is still saved by God`s grace , not being baptized will not keep him out from the Kingdom of God , God knows my sons yearning to do the will of God , it will be in God`s timing , not my sons...xox...
yes he is saved, do not listen to those wh want to steel your and your sons hope,
