dc - The problem with this comment it fails to match your behaviour.
You have condemned me to hell and said I am leading others to hell.
That is specific and personal, not even linked to a theological point.

Now if you had said I think this idea is heresy, do you agree or disagree, you jump on the
idea of slander and abuse without blinking.

Now if you knew the Lord your heart would question this and say, wait, am I right?
You know dc I have tried to get to your more open caring side, but you have closed the door.
But even as your enemy, you are commanded to love me, and be open to my heart and my
needs. But I think you are actually not so good at the loving game, just the confrontation,
macho game. Jesus is not like you, and does not play or act like this.

Why are you still packing heat after so many years out of the army? Is it so dangerous around
you or you have made so many enemies this makes sense?

I would have 2nd thoughts meeting someone like you, ex-marine with a gun fixation and the
need to be ready to take a life at all times. ptsd or some anxiety trauma under the surface.

I used to live in fear, until I put everything in the Lords hands. Now I know His love and His blessing,
and whatever comes I am safe in His hands. Until you lay down all your defences you do not know
truly if you still have something in reserve that even you did not know about. God bless you, for
Jesus is stunning and I desire we all might know His love more deeply in all our lives.
perhaps he does have traumas which we should try to help with he has allready said as much... I guess tho at the end of the day it gets dark and tomorrow is a new day...

I think he does need to apolagize to you tho for condeming you to hell and he does need to stop telling every new member your the only one he has ever banned or put on his ignor list...

Funny thing tho he isnt ignoring you i have members who are permantly on ignor coz i reallt do not wish to get caught up in continuous slander..

Wealth

One member on hear said they were poor and part of a small congregation.
Now poverty for some is relative. From some perspectives we live below the poverty
line, except we own our own home, so costs are basic food and heating.

I enjoy what I do, and fame and fortune mean nothing to me, or pomp in business,
which often is just frustration for no end.

You then find some own businesses, travel the world, live a life of luxury and leisure.
Others are very poor, barely surviving, severly disabled in difficult circumstances but trusting
God will see them through.

Now it is the wealthy who tend to flatter themselves with the Lords blessing and their wealth
proves it, while those who are truly blessed in the Lord have a much better perspective of love,
sin and sacrifice. The love of money corrupts completely, and so many call themselves believers
but serve money and not the Lord. Odd that how money compromises on sin and sorrow, but
preaches peace and security and total acceptance with no day of reconning.

I can handle rebuke.. but you weren't rebuking, you were being rude, and making false assumptions and name-calling. If YOU can't handle taking it back, you shouldn't dish it out. ;)

I think only a giving heart will find happiness... coz the lord blesses and rewards those who do and does not bless one that doesnt handle rebuke..

All that s bolder goes together,

what is is the opposite,

john Said, in chapter 2 I believe, whoever sins has never seen god or known him, whoever is born of god can not sin....

he finishes he's by assuring those who believe they have eternal life, and tells them this is the means to cntinw to believe
what believers ,john was jewish ,jesus was still on earth, pentecoste happened after,
if there is two different ministries. why you still look at sin.
(for he who worked through Peter for his apostolic ministry to the circumcised worked also through me for mine to the Gentiles)Galatians 2

"You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, acts 10

thats the problem with context

then around 10-15 years they met for acts 15.

I give rather often, with a cheerful heart..but I don't accuse others of being free loaders for not doing their share in giving of their time or talents or money...

I think only a giving heart will find happiness... coz the lord blesses and rewards those who do and does not bless one that doesnt handle rebuke..

Peter...no offence, but you have comprehension problems....how many people have told you that you fail to understand what is said in any given conversation....there is no problem with my statement....I have judged your doctrine along side the word of GOD and it comes up lacking and insufficient to save anyone....so...by default if your dogma by the word cannot save you....it for sure cannot save someone else....many have pointed this out to you and you still fail to understand the simple verbiage being spoken in a language you are supposed to be fluent in.......now for the xxx time....I do not condemn you per se, but rather your dogma to be false......is that too difficult to understand?
dc - I am patient. "your dogma to be false" - can you tell me which dogma is false.

My response to you is only a mirror wondering why you believe you can be so judgementalwithout content or even justification. You have emotional conviction, that is certain, but facts?
What is wrong with my dogma? To give you a clue, I list my doctrinal theology in the blog

http://christianchat.com/blogs/peterjens/10060-what-do-i-believe.html

If you could tell me where I am wrong before the Lord, I will be happy to correct my beliefs.

But I suspect like other members you have an emotional conviction and then look for ammunition
which is something very different, and I would suggest not a way a follower of Christ should
behave.

By the way, you intent to cause offence, so saying no offence is meaningless.
And saying people have pointed something out, which they have not done on innumerable times.
It gets so lame, to repeat something that is just a putdown based on nothing, how can believers
claim to know Jesus and lie so easily. Something else is at work, a conviction of superiority, arrogance.

One member wrote a sentence wrong, and continued to lie about what was written even when before
them. That is delusion, nothing to do with truth or the desire to love or care, pure psychological delusion.
I suppose when you live among weak and feeble people who fold at the level of bullying and oppression
put upon them, it becomes a shock when someone just stands strong in the Lord, and nothing moves.

Did the Pharisees brag and or boast of all that they gave.......? Just think Jimmy....the widow woman gave the least of them all....yet she gave the most because she gave ALL that she had and she gave for the right reason.......!
And she did not brag or boast about it,As the workers love to do. It was Christ who boasted of her faith.

bible says nothing can take u out of my hand and all who Father gives me i will lose none, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, nothing can separate us from the love of God and even if we deny Him He will remain faithful cause He cant deny Himself, just believe and be saved john 20:21

^so u cant lose your salvation.

but the bible also says if we wilfully sin no sacrifice remains for sins and its impossible to renew those into repentance who have left and that some people's names were in the book of life but then were wiped away and unbelief causes branches to be cut off be careful, believing is not enough even demons believe.

^so u can lose your salvation.

this is a huge problem and that is why we have 900 pages of debate on the most important issue that is salvation and nobody can even know the basic thing???????? everyone is just quoting their side of the verses lol
The Bible says that those that name the name of Christ has to depart from iniquity, which if a person hates sin,and does not want sin,by the Spirit they can abstain from sin.

If we sin it can be forgiven, and if we hold unto sin for a year it can be forgiven.Sin can be forgiven at all times.

If we sin wilfully there is no more sacrifice for sins, which means if we hold unto sin the blood of Jesus cannot take it away, for we will not let it go,but if we let it go,and do not want it,and mean it,the blood of Jesus will take it away.

We can be forgiven of sin,and even if we hold unto sin,and let it go,it can be forgiven, but holding unto sin is a risk factor, for we might get caught up in the flesh, and not overcome, and perish from off this earth with that sin.

God knows the heart, and whether a person gives up sin,or not,and Jesus preached repent, and that repent is from them on,that we turn away from sin,so holding unto sin,and not giving it up,the blood of Christ cannot wash it away, and it is on their record.

HAHA your hilarious Jimmy.....salvation is a free gift.....does that make all who receive it a free loader....

For in the grace you are, having been saved out of faith and that not of yourselves, it is the GIFT of GOD not of works lest any man should boast.....

Think of all the kids who get presents every year based solely on the fact their parents love them.

I guess they are freeloaders? These people make me laugh ..

Jim, people are what they are, a victim of the sin in which they dwell.

Only if you are freely walking in the Spirit can apology and freedom come to pass.
I cannot expect the impossible, only the Lord can provide this for anyone.

So I wait for the work of His hand in mine and their life, Amen and God bless.

yes I know.
yes have they are in the Bible....
What is so special about your Sabbath keeping that you can't do it every day?
Will you be like a Pharisee and condemn folks for doing God's work I and valuing each day as the Sabbath?
Hi Ariel,

I gather that you cannot answer the questions below or maybe you are too busy as you have not replied to my last post written in 18781. It is ok I thought I would help answer them for you.

1. Do you know what a High Sabbath is? (John 19:31)

2. What is an annual Sabbaths that is connected to feast days that do not even fall on the 7th Day of the week (Lev 23)?

3. Did you know all of the above are not referring to God's 4th commandment (Ex 20:8-11) but are connected to annual feast days?

4. Did you know that these annual Sabbaths are also connected with New Moons, meat and drink offering and holy days? Funny how they all seem to fit so well with Col 2 in the New Testament is talking about don't you think?

Answers 1- 4

“Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. (John 19:31)

What is the "high-day Sabbath" mentioned in this verse? Is it the same as a weekly Sabbath? The answer is no. A high day is technically an annual holy day, or annual Sabbath, as commanded in Leviticus 23. Certainly, the weekly Sabbath is a day to keep holy, but these annual holy days take precedence if they occur on the seventh-day Sabbath.

There are 7 annual Sabbaths (High days): connected to feasts in the laws of Moses. The first and seventh days of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah in Hebrew), Atonement (Yom Kippur), the first day of Tabernacles (Succoth), and the Last Great Day. The first three occur in the spring, and the last four in the fall. Thus, the high day of which John 19:31 was speaking was one of the three spring holy days, and since Jesus crucifixion took place on the day of Passover (Nisan 14 on the Hebrew calendar), the high day of which he speaks was the first day of Unleavened Bread, which falls the day after the Passover (Nisan 15).

These are ceremonial Sabbaths connected to Feast Days. These annual feast day Sabbaths are described in Leviticus 23 and also in other parts of Deuteronomy and are not the normal weekly 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath as they can occur on any day of the week. They are different from the weekly 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath as they begin on the New Moon and can start on any day of the week. These annual or “High” Sabbath days in many of these festival feast or Holy days start at the first sign of the full moon at certain times of the year. The beginning and the end of these festivals are the “High days” or annual Sabbaths in the laws of Moses. No work was to be conducted but in some cases lessor amounts of work were to be done as described in Lev 23. Also, point of interest these “High days” or annual ceremonial Sabbaths connected to these feasts or Holy days can start at any day of the week the New Moon falls on. These Feast days or Holy days included Meat (food), Drink and burnt offering which started on New Moons at certain times of the year (Lev 23:36-37; 39;24).

These “High days” or Full Moon festival Sabbaths are no longer kept today as they are parts of the ceremonial laws of Moses that were pointing to Jesus and nailed to the cross Col 2:14. These annual Sabbaths (high days) connected to feast days from the laws of Moses were shadows of things to come Col 2:14-16 (more information read Lev 23 also wiki).

5. Where in the bible does it say that Jesus is our Sabbath?

There is NO scripture in the bible that says Jesus is our Sabbath. The only reference to Sabbath is a DAY.

6. Where does it say in the Bible we no longer need to keep God's 7th Day Sabbath a holy day?

There is NO scripture in the bible that says we no longer need to keep God’s 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath a holy. Sunday Worship is a man-made teaching and tradition put in place over the commandment of God. Jesus says it is vain or not worshiping God if you’re putting the teaching of men in place of the Word of God.

Hope this helps.

God bless
