How would you answer that question posed by the author of the devotional?

YOU ASK HOW CAN WE BE RIGHTEOUS WHEN WE HAVE DONE WRONG. ? ASK THEN HOW CAN JESUS BECOME SIN WHEN HE WAS RIGHTEOUS AND NEVER DID WRONG?
Actually I was asking how you personally would answer that question, but maybe I should have phrased the question differently since the doing something which is not considered as wrong is not indicative of it being righteous.

I understand how a person who has not been quickened by the LORD could ask how their righteousness could be restored having done wrong. However, if a person would consider that they could be righteous when they were doing something they know is wrong then Jesus became sin when righteousness became doing nothing instead of doing the right thing.

hi zmouth, i would answer the same way. what we do matters of cors. except it does not change our position as sons nor does it cause God to love us less or more.

sin effects our walking in the truth however., bringing in all kinds of distorted thinking. distrtd thking is not what any believer wants since it gives the eneny free inroads into our lives in all sorts of ways and we cut ourselves off from knowing Gods love and provision. He is always with us but our faith 2 know that is all but turned off when we allow sin and distortion in.

we are sons of God now and we are now righteous because of Jesus gifting it to us. placed into righteousness. THIS IS A GREAT GIFT how we act does not change being born-again. plus holding onto that fact will keep us from falling into and staying in distorted thinking. when the enemy says 'you r hopeless, you r worthless' you r a sinner' when u know the truth of what Jesus did making u a righteous son based on HIM and not u., u can walk in that truth since Jesus made it paid it true in ur life.

its the walk of faith. believing what the truth is not what we see or feel or think. heb.11:1

salvation sozo zoe-we (spelling) is a great priceless gift bible calls unspeakable gift of Jesus. more to salvation than what we first heard. growing in the knowledge of Jesus maturing/learning about how HS teaches etc...
