What does it truly look like to reflect, reveal and resemble our precious Savior Jesus Christ? How do we tell a real Christian from one that claims to be a Christian?

By their fruit---you will know them----not by words, gifts, or popularity...

Very Good. Amen! We must also keep the two greatest commandments. It would be sufficient to say that we should at all times serve our Master Jesus Christ as He did. He didn't come to be served but to serve. Thus we truly shall be called Ambassadors for Christ. Our lives are to be a living epistle of the character of God whom we worship and serve. He is looking for those that will worship Him in spirit and in truth.

But as another said recently, they know many unbelievers who exhibit good fruit more than believers.

1. To know this we have to examine what the Bible reveals of Jesus life and character.

2. We can't. Nor are we called to judge others hearts or salvation. We are to love all people brother, sister or enemy.

Sadly this is true because there are many who do not have a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. As God's word says they have a form of godliness but lack the power thereof. If we were so in love with our Redeemer and Creator there would be no self involved. Christ was selfless where as we are carnal in nature unless we give our hearts completely to Him we can do nothing.

Amen Ariel. As the familiar hymn admonishes us to turn our eyes upon Jesus. The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. I appreciate your honesty.

Just a little about me. I believe in being real so that you can heal. Thus the lethargy and death of many churches because they sweep sin and overcoming sin under the rug. I had been in a life caught up in pornography and alcohol. I didn't really think I had a problem until my wife and I decided to get married. It was time to come clean and make some changes. Little did I realize God's Holy Spirit was working on my heart. He gave me a very vivid dream in which I was in a bar drinking with some friends. I was standing next to the booth. In walked this old man with long white hair and a long white beard. He didn't fit the bar scene. He approached me with his eyes fixed in me and said God is coming. That shook me out of my sleep and immediately I blew the dust off the Bible and read in three months from Genesis to Revelation. That has been since 2008 and I haven't looked back since. It is amazing when He opens your eyes to see what He is accomplishing in this sin fallen world. He has put a fire in my heart to encourage brothers and sisters to get in the boat and stay in the boat. As He said Now is not the time to cower. Now is the time to climb.

I have too many stories to share that testify of our God is a God of possibilities. Without Him I am nothing. I praise God for His forgiveness according to 1 John 1:9, His mercy in Psalm 85:10 and His justice. Vengeance is mine thus saith the Lord. Really love Psalm 97:10.

A real Christian, I believe, believes in the Lord's commandments.

John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
