Or would you put God on hold?
Do you believe God's promise of having a place prepared for His beloved children?
I am not advocating suicide or actively seeking death. I am asking, are you living your life today where you could look down from heaven without regret?
Are you putting off for tomorrow what can be done today?
Are you wasting time seeking money or fame instead of loving God and loving your family and friends?
Tomorrow isn't promised to any of us. Let us treasure the time we have today.
Also do you truly look forward to heaven or do you secretly wish you can enjoy this world more than you want to spend time with God?
Someone made the statement that most people don't look forward to heaven unless they aren't happy with this world. They don't really look forward to spending eternity with God. They just want to escape pain of this world.
That makes me sad.
I want people to enjoy this world but be ready to leave if God called us home because we trust and believe it when He says what He has for us in Heaven is better than anything in this world.
I wonder about the Bible verse that calls people double minded and adulterers who desire this world more than they desire being in the presence of God or doing His will.
