Who knows really, I mean such creatures are spoken of in lore of all kinds in stone tablets scrolls and ancient paintings on walls but I find it strange we haven't found a single fossil of these things yet. At this point all we can do is speculate I suppose until we find evidence strong enough to base on and do an in depth study.

We have animals, fish and eels that produce lethal electricity/amps
We have bugs that chemically produce light and or spray hot, chemically noxious sprays near the boiling point

LOL....I noticed he didn't use our "denominational approved" commentary to prove his heretical pet animal doctrine......that is a sure sign of a false teacher!...he's into that "animal cult".
Probably a universalists too where even all animals are saved too.
The only animals saved are the ones that do not enter my lethal range HAHAHAH DEER and TURKEY that is...well a few others as well.....but over all the first two for sure AHAH

There are no fossils Blain - because God translated them to heaven like Enoch...just ask dcontroversal...it's part of the pet doctrine of the "Universalists First Church of the Dragons and Unicorns" ....

Why Does The Bible Mention Unicorns?

Why Does The Bible Mention Unicorns? | Creation Today

Numbers 23:22 “God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.”

Numbers 24:8 “God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.”

Job 39:9 “Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?”

Job 39:10 “Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?”

Psalms 29:6 “He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.”

Psalms 92:10 “But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.”

Deuteronomy 33:17 “His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.”

Psalms 22:21 “Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.”

Isaiah 34:7 “And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.”
I see one of two possible answers for unicorns in the Bible:
    1. Like the word rabbit. As in it really was a word in the Bible, but the translators didn't live around there. They did live in England where rabbits are natural to the area, so they took from what they knew and guessed the word. Now we know there weren't rabbits in the Middle East, (back then. There are now), so we know it's not that.

    2. There were unicorns -- possibly in the deer family. Maybe the oxen family. Maybe equine, maybe something else. They aren't anymore. Just like there are no real American bisons, (the last were bred with cattle, so no purebred bison), no dodo birds, no passenger pigeons, and no Javan tigers.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Rom. 8:28

I just checked several versions of the Bible. Only the King James Version (and not the New King James Version) used the word "unicorn."

The KJV translates Strong's H7214 in the following manner: unicorn (9x).
    Outline of Biblical Usage [?]

probably the great aurochs or wild bulls which are now extinct. The exact meaning is not known.
Like the Bereans in Acts 17:11 (KJV) "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

With Jesus Christ as your savior, The Holy Spirit will teach you if you are willing to learn from Him. He will guide you in daily activities if you will listen to Him. He will protect and maintain your soul in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit if you will let Him.

Ah...that explains why I could have sworn that in ten years of reading my bible, I never came across the word!
I would bet money that it isn't NLT or NASB.
