5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

This is a very sobering statement

Yes indeed it is, and speaks volumes to the eternal state and salvation of the spirit that is born of incorruptible seed.....rejected by all who teach the loss of salvation I might add!

Sobering it is! The Bible is a book with an attitude. Fanatical religious cults can be very dangerous. :eek:
