Can anyone post a Scripture or passage of Scripture in context that proves that the Anti-Christ makes a seven year treaty with Israel that allows Israel to rebuild the Temple and institute the OT worship system?

1 verse, probably not. Probably not even a few verses

Look at the OT prophesy concerning end times or end of the age, Daniels prophesies, And even Jesus meantioned it in matt 24. Then see revelation.

I would also like to see the passage of scripture you asked for. I find only four verses of scripture that contain the word “antichrist”. Three of them are in 1[SUP]st[/SUP] John and one of them is in 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] John and none of them say anything about a person called the antichrist who is to appear on earth. I eagerly await to see the scripture you’ve asked for.

Thanks for your honesty. I would expect nothing less from you brother.:cool:

I have studied all those Scriptures you listed.

Correct me if I am wrong.
We may come to a conclusion or assume it is true but it can not be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be true by Scripture?

I would say we can be reasonably assured it something will happen (a new temple. An abomination which causes desolation. A 7 year time period of some sort., a world leader etc etc.)

I would say how, when or specific details. We will not know until it occurs.. We can just guess or make assumptions, or points of discussions which may or may not be true.

which is why I love the discussion, But hate when people get all judgmental if you do not believe exactly as they do.

I can not.

It always has to be some kind of a construction, at least.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for...

[h=3]Daniel 9:24-27 -“Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place. Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed. And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”[/h]
So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel - let the reader understand (Matthew 24:15)

When you see 'the abomination that causes desolation' standing where it does not belong - let the reader understand (Mark 13:14)

I do not see the term messiah used. In fact, there is no way to determine from this passage alone who this is.

Thats why I said be careful It is easy for us looking back, No one in the OT had any way to determine this.

Thats why I said, We may not know until it happens,, We can just guess.

53 Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

[SUP]7 [/SUP]He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And they[SUP][a][/SUP] made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]He shall see the labor of His soul,[SUP][b][/SUP] and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.

Thank you. How can I be sure that it’s the “antichrist” that I’m reading about when I see the words “beast” and “man of sin”? I just re-read Daniel chapter 7 and Revelation chapter 13 both of which use the word beast many times. The phrase “man of sin” comes from 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Thessalonians 2:3, but how do I know that this “man of sin or “son of perdition” or "beast" is the, so-called, “Antichrist” which I here so much chatter about from Christians who like to talk about the end-times?

Judas was a son of perdition if that helps any.

Thank you. Are you referring to John 17:12? Is Christ saying that Judas is the “antichrist” in this passage of scripture?

In Revelation a Beast is described that comes out of the sea. It is a combination of the various empires described in Daniels visions. The sea represents the nations of the earth. The beast has a mouth and blasphemes God. The Beast is interpreted as being an end time Empire headed by a man that the world worships. In Daniel chapter 9 seventy weeks of years are prophesied. In the seventieth week a person is described as making a covenant with Israel and stopping temple worship and sacrifice midway through the seventieth week. The popular name of the person heading the last Empire is the Antichrist but he is not called that in Daniel or revelation. The name comes from Johns epistles. There is more than one interpretation of these events.but the common belief is that there will be a last world empire headed by a man known by various names in the Bible.

There are none.......My view is...

a) Daniel 12 tells us exactly that there is 1335 days left to deal with Israel
b) The first 1185 days of the 7 years period was accomplished in the personal ministry of Jesus unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel
c) They rejected Christ and will have to endure the last 1335 days which includes 1260 days of the GREAT TRIBULATION such as was not seen from the foundation of the earth even unto that time.

Yes, John 1:12, but I don't think this verses or the "man of sin" verse has anything to do with "The Antichrist". I don't think there is such a thing as "The Antichrist", only the spirit of antichrist which is primarly propogated by the Jews whom to do this day still deny Christ came in the flesh.

John 17:12 KJV
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

I think the man of sin is called the son of perdition so that we can look at Judas to figure out who the man of sin is. Judas was a fake Christian and so is the man of sin I would say... not a beast nor The Antichrists, just a fake believer who exalts himself above all that is called God (the bible) and sits on God's throne.... This is my thoughts on it.

The title means Son of Destruction. Judas was a type of the Antichrist in that both will be destroyed by their actions against God.
