Yes but Paul actually says the unbelieving part are Not Israel.

So I understand your point, but we can also say it my way?

except in romans 11 he says they are Isreal.. Just blinded.. and although they are our enemy when it comes to the gospel. They are beloved because of the election. Because what God promised, and his gifts, will never end or be taken away.

THATS WHY God left a remnant, so that a nation will NEVER be destroyed, and Gods promise NEVER be made null

Because they are chosen by God. So theyre hated for Gods sake. Just like we are hated for Christ

Sorry I didn't mean to say this thread was against Israel I was kind of thinking out loud scratching my head why Israel is so often attacked

They are attacking people like me. (dispensationalsim). Not so much Israel. But yes, Israel is the center of it.

because they are at the center of the disagreement

Hm, yes, it becomes complicated a little, because one word "Israel" can be used in several ways. But I see what you mean.

There is also a catch "is the Church part of the Israel" or "is the believing part of the Israel part of the Church" etc.

lol I know the feeling, people often say I show wisdom and maturity in Christ well beyond my years as well. However they make the mistake of thinking it's me they are seeing

1) Old Covenant 12 Tribes
2) Judah
3) Believing 12 tribes
4) Believers generally

Any other ways?

5) Biological Jews
6) The state of Israel
7) The land.

And maybe even more. Thats why many discussions about Israel got lost in misunderstandings of various kind.

ok,

5 = 2

6 is not scriptural though?
It does not have to be. I am only listing how the word can be used today...

But you can say "kingdom of Israel" which is biblical. But not actual.

Ah Ok, because even within scripture, there is polyvalent usage

Having seen this thread and its counterpart, I would offer these two thoughts: I can see the point of studying the issue and seeing what the Scripture says. Also, I would ask why people get dogmatic about it? It doesn't appear to be a primary issue. :)

I think it is very important.

I used to be unable to witness to Jews, as I was told that they were super humans who us mortals were not to bother,
and likewise was unable to witness to Moslems, as i had been led to believe that they were "an irritant to the Divine Plan", (well that is about as polite as I can put it).

Now I feel much better, when i have things in proper perspective.

All I need to know as to if to witness to the Jews Muslims or even satanists is that Jesus witnessed even to the Pharisees themselves

But it goes much deeper than that. If you learn to identify with a lunatic terrorist state like Israel as an expression of God's personality, you are screwed basically.
