What do you think about Donald Trump? This is not a thread for those who are against him to bash him. If you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything. Use bible scriptures to back up your beliefs about Trump, and how he God's people can be blessed under Trumps term. I believe he could be like the present day Nebuchadnezzar, President of new Babylon. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing because the King had a good relationship with Daniel, he gave him rule over his own province of Babylon which he had Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in charge of.

Daniel 1:7
Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

The King feared Daniel's God, I believe Trump is a God fearing man. Yes the Kings men were out to get Daniel and his followers but in these days of Revelation we have liberal laws and are able to worship as we please here in America. We are called to spread the gospel, and as the redeemed we can live our day to day lives while doing this. We don't go around thumping people over the heads with the bible either. We don't fight flesh and blood, we send the wicked spirits fleeing 10,000 at a time by two witnesses in agreement.

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

I agree with what God's word says in Isaiah 9:6,7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

I agree we should pray for and lift up Donald Trump our new acting President. However, he is subject to like passions as we are. I have read the back of the book and I know what role our United States of America plays in prophecy. Read Daniel 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them into pieces. Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings, shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

I am waiting for that kingdom. Folks we are in the toe nails of that statue Nebuchadnezzar envisioned all those years ago. The Revelator John says this in Revelations 21:1-4. 1.And I John saw a new heaven and new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away(Amen!); and there was no more sea. 2. And I John saw the Holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven (we don't need to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem), prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3. And I heard a great voice out of hheaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death (Amen!), neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Hebrews 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for He hath prepared for them a city. John 14:1-3 1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Christ is soon to return. Let us turn our eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace. He will complete the work He has begun in you. Are you prepared for our Universal KING'S return. He is LORD of lords and KING of kings. God bless and God speed.

Hopefully he will "Make America Great Again!" As somebody stated in another thread about a coming revival. The revival is here all we have to do is just believe it and be apart of this love virus as it spreads throughout the country and people can be united under One GOD, indivisible with liberty and justice for all!

Love can heal nations, but it takes more than one nation to heal a world... or does it? This could be the beginning of a beautiful new era.

Happy new year indeed. If we study out where we as a nation fit into prophecy, we realize that even thought there may appear years of peace and prosperity, there are demonic forces working behind the scenes. I personally want to reveal, reflect and resemble Jesus Christ so that I as commissioned in Matthew 28:19,20 am casting the Gospel net to bring many fishes to Jesus so we can get off this decaying earth and go to our eternal home. If we are not out laboring for God than how will His second coming and the eternal kingdom come in our life time. I am sure God is waiting for a genuine revival to true practical godliness before He sends His Son. I desire that better country and I by the grace of God pray to be a witness that will lead others to desire to travel the narrow path of self denial and overcoming sin through His redeeming love.

What you say could be true 88. I am just waiting to see what happens. It is no coincidence that he got elected and that the popular vote didn't even count against him. I believe divine intervention may have lead to his triumph and I can only hope that he is a good leader who can bring this nation back under God and make America great again.

Nah! You did tie Trump into the title, so I got that. I just wasn't expecting it to be about Trump. I'm dusty/rusty on Nebuchadnezzar anymore, so I was just hoping to relearn what I forgot. It's fine.

It would do is all well to look into the story of Nebuchadnezzar. Perhaps a good Bible study on the first few chapters of Daniel are needed. It is important we study this book Daniel and Revelation together. They unlock much of the time and symbolic language to open our understanding of prophecy. It gives us a more in depth picture of how close Christ's second coming is.
