I believe in following the expressed will of God.. God in times past ordered Jews under the Old testament to fight wars and kill.. And so as long as they where following the commands of God they had success and the will of God was done.But every time the Jews decided to initiate a war by their own decision sure enough disaster would soon follow.

The last orders of God that i have received comes from the New Testament teachings of the LORD Jesus Christ.. And so i will not engage in any carnal combat / warfare, So again if i follow the teachings of Jesus then i will be blessed by God and have success..

NO ONE will ever convince me that God's hand was not in this....It is biblical to defend the innocent as well as one's self against certain death by using lethal means........

I doubt that i will ever convince you either.. But in the end God will know who believed Jesus and who disbelieved Jesus and will judge accordingly..

It is very hard for men especially to believe Jesus on this issue..

I don't own a firearm. I do have nunchaku with red and white stripes and a blue area with white stars. If God wants me to defend myself, then they'll probably be in hand when the time comes.

I seem to recall someone took the jawbone of an ass and slew bunches of folks who were gonna harm his homies........

and

I seem to remember someone took a sling, and a stone and slew a giant who was gonna harm his homies...........

methinks protecting ones self, family, friends is a good thing........

Trouble comes when one decides to be the instigator......

Nice verse........Does not change what I would do if I saw a Muslim man raping a 5 year old girl...You can pray for them....I will light em up!

Yep....is it against what the authorities have said for a society to be raping a 5 year old girl?. Then they should have much to fear - fear used as in terror!

Romans 13:1-4 (NASB)

[SUP]2 [/SUP] Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

( - being persecuted for our faith is a different subject and we respond differently. )

I do not think God would think highly of a man or woman standing while someone brutalized thier child or spouse.

If he loses his life in the process. Amen.. if he kills the purp in the process as a last resort to protect the innocent. Amen..
