Dear friend. There is only one viewpoint to see. That's the Word..What you are saying does NOT line up with the Word so, no, ,my viewpoint will not change.
So then tell me,

Where are we in the prophetic time line?

The seals could only be opened AFTER the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 ad.

The angel said in Dan. 12:4-7, that the book could only be opened in the time of the end,

When was this?

When the power of the holy people is scattered, 70 ad., v 7.

lol.hmm,,,I see,,,

it must have you really puzzled then that is that from the books beginning to it's end it was never opened while the Holy people existed. It makes you wonder what the value of an book is that is not opened while the Holy people exist. Again if the holy peoples power is scattered before the book is opened(70ad you say) then it was written to them but of no value at all.

Some would go the other way with it and say that the Christians are the "Holy people" mentioned but then the Revelation is an Christian writing and not followed by the Jewish faith. So the Christians have a book that has the sealed things in the book opened at their beginning while they were receiving power (Acts 1;8) not when their power was "scattered".

Now though in the scripture you gave Daniel 12:7, it says it would be for "a time, times and an half" which is recognized as the "times of the gentiles" from the other scriptures but if you are correct in what you said then you have proven the guy who began this thread incorrect because he is working to establish that the times of the forth beast has not yet ended and is ongoing even to this day.

Maybe your right though the time, times and an half are finished and the power of the Holy people are scattered...

lol, here I’ll not leave you hanging

The clue is a "time, times and an half" this is how long, the entire time that the gentile powers would hold power over the Holy people. So they were scattered, while they were in Babylon, then under Persia, then Greece and then Rome. "and when this is accomplished"(when the captivity is over ) it would be unsealed.

So in Acts 1;6 ,,,the time, times and an half are they accomplished? if so why do the apostles feel the need to say to them to be subject to Rome Romans 13:1-7, 1 peter 2:13-14 as if Rome, the fourth beast had already accomplished the set times that they would keep the Holy people scattered?

It's that the Jews thought that they were done with being under the authority of Rome and revolted to cast it off(4th beast authority) but it didnt happen because the time, times and an half measured out for the gentiles was not yet full.

So what to do about the mark of the beast? If the 4th beast had already continued through it's course (Revelation 17:12) then it would have been at the end of the "scattering". But obviously if the ten horns had not yet had their kingdoms (Rev.17:12) then it was not at the end of the "time, times.and an half".

The apostles fully understanding this then gave the proper advice in saying to "be subject" to the powers over them(i.e. fourth beast) until it divided into the ten toes/horns and then the little one and the eight came into existence.

So they said to be subject to the powers and were not concerned with using Rome’s money (Romans 13:6) because since the ten had not yet come and the little horn then the two horned beast had not come nor the mark of the beast,if not they the apostles would have been telling them to "receive the mark of the beast" Romans 13;6/Revelation 13:17. But since the fourth beast(Rome) had not yet divided into the ten that wasn’t possible.

The Jews in ad70 who revolted(1st Jewish revolt) did not have the mark either for the same reason i.e. the forth beast had not yet divided to ten. Nor did they worship Caesar as God ,they refused to honer him and printed their own money instead of using Rome’s. So those in the siege in ad70 did not have the mark either.

When the book of Daniel was written Israel was already in captivity in Babylon and "were scattered" and were then under Persia’s rule, then Greece and then Rome's. So they were from then until(?) "scattered"and without power. this is the "time.times, and an half" that they were scattered and without power" and is what is being ask of Jesus in Acts 1:6.
