..V 22But now being made FREE FROM SIN, and become SERVANTS TO GOD, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end EVERLASTING LIFE. 23For the wages of SIN IS DEATH; but the gift of God is ETERNAL; LIFE THROUGH JESUS Christ OUR LORD."
we should understand where pauls teaching comes from every aspect paul taught, Jesus taught first, everything peter, John, james taught...Jesus taught them first and commanded them to go teach us those same things to both jew and gentile because one of the wonderful things Jesus accomplished was to bring the gentiles into the acceptance of God, where the jew alone were Gods chosen through the mosaic covenant. There is only One gospel Paul recieved the same gospel by revelation, that the disciples learned from walking with Jesus simply because paul was a pharisee until his conversion and wasnt a disciple when the Lord was teaching the disciples. He didnt recieve anything different simply emphasized the gentile inclusion and our death and new life in Jesus apart from the mosaic Law. Paul writes differently but the same exact things Jesus taught, Paul taught.
being free from sin in these two examples here, involves learning Jesus teachings and applying them to Life, actually accepting them as principles to live by daily in honor of Jesus Christ who laid down His life for us. when you begin to apply the teachings of Jesus to life, then a person will Know the truth for themselves and understand...again and as ALWAYS just like Jesus said ...
john 7:16-17 ":Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself."
we can bee free of sin in this life, we all are sinners, but repentance and freedom from sins control over our lives, a truly changed Life is absolutely possible and our calling to be honest with you. we stumble, but we have been called according to a very important purpose, and repentance and acceptance is the beginning. We are sinners called to be righteous, were called to be disciples of Gods Son, thats why were called children of God, Our Faith is Jesus. Disciples...followers of the LORD. It is just plainly a false teaching that paul taught a lesser or differnt message than Jesus. there is One Lord, One faith, One Jesus.
Jesus understood salvation betterthan anyone id go to my grave holding on to that.....and what is more is because i know that i will also walk right out of my grave with the One in whom i trust. Know Jesus know truth.
