This week (June 18) in 1812, President James Madison signed a war declaration against America’s former colonial ruler, Great Britain, after Congress — for the first time in American History — voted to declare war against another nation. It became known as the War of 1812, although its many detractors, mostly members of the opposition Federalist Party, preferred calling it “Mr. Madison’s War,” especially when, in 1814, the war was going so badly for America that the British faced little resistance when they invaded Washington, D.C., and burned down several government buildings, including — famously — the White House.

Too bad the both of you can't come to Philly for that pub. Every year, on the anniversary of the birth of the Marines, there is a bar a couple of miles from where I live that Marines come to to celebrate. Nothing that brings both a sense of fear and respect as that many Marines semper fi-ing up and down the streets. I avoid the area in a car, and I'm not sure why. Fear of killing a drunk Marine? Or fear of almost killing one and then facing that many drunk Marines? And I absolutely know some Christian Marines who make it a pilgrimage but only have a beer or two when they get there, so they're not all drunk. They're all MARINES!

Mr. Tyrel Jackson was taken to the hospital with 4 broken ribs, a busted jaw, missing teeth, a broken arm, broken hand and multiple contusions and abrasions sustained when he FELL OFF THE CURB..........
The Moral of the story...do not ever stab a Marine when 4 more are standing there......I laughed and laughed and laughed over that one........been maybe 10 years or so since I seen that.....HAHAHHAHHAHA
