Romans 6 reveals majestic glory that I once heavily overlooked. We are blessed.

John was clear...If we say we have no sin...

1. NO TRUTH
2. Deceived

Post 205 states it all....No TRUTH and Deceived

If the righteous SCARCELY be saved..........!
STOP PULLING THAT VERSE OUT OF CONTEXT WITH THE MESSAGE!
[SUP]6 [/SUP]If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
[SUP]7 [/SUP]But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, AND TO CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

If we say we have not sinned and don't confess our sins to be cleansed of our unrighteousness, THEN we are to be called a liar FOR SURE, because all men have sinned. I NEVER claimed that, matter of fact, I claimed to have been a wretch, filthy in my sin. Jesus cleansed me!!!!!!!

AGAIN

Zechorias and Elesebeth blameless/perfect befor God keeping ALL the commandments...How do we suppose they did this and we cant?

Zacharias did in fact have a sin of ignorance in Luke 1, and he was chastised by God for it, but he NEVER engaged in the vile sins of the flesh that Paul said would disqualify one from the kingdom..

Note: the Prodigal son did not return to the pig pin of sin.

Blameless and sinless are not the same thing.
Only Jesus was sinless.

blameless is absent of the vile sins of the flesh that will disqualify one from the kingdom....Please state what sins you mean when using the term "sinless".................sincerely Willybob

Did Daniel, Job, Hana, Deborah, or Joseph have any vile sins of the flesh?

King David did engaged in the file sins of the flesh and would have lost his soul if not repented of during his 9 months of agony..A second repentance is a very rare thing in the text...I think I can find only 2, however there may be more I am not aware of......

look. you and I had a productive conversation yesterday. now your back to being brash. you said you used to be a bartender. think back a minute. if someone came in being loud, brash, getting up in people's face's , you would have had them thrown out.

well, that is going to happen here if you do not tone it down. you are claming that you do not sin. you are saying this, no one is forcing you. then do not get angry when you are questioned about it, BECAUSE YOU ARE GOING TO BE. this is my last appeal. you have a good testimony, but you are ruining it by this behavior.

If the righteous scarcely be saved. What does it mean?

He that endures to the end the same shall be saved..The overcomers that stay on the narrow path of righteousness. Paul said of himself that he could shipwreck his faith....Demas a fellow labourer with Paul fell away.

Jesus tells the story in the parable of the wondering spirit...(the coming back rising up of the old man of sin) who in the end is worse off than if he had never heard the gospel....sin hardens the heart however many professing sinners claim is humbles them. How can that be? Once again, Im speaking of the vile sins of the flesh and not sins of ignorance, human frailty, lack of all knowledge, stumbling's, moments of anger etc......Dig deep and lay your works on the Rock of Truth, lest the flood of lies sweep your house away............

My room mate that lived with me at the time was a bartender. I do understand what youre saying tho. Im not angry at all, I am boldy contending for the TRUE gospel that was given to the SAINTS 2,000 years ago that has been (in my serious opinion, of which we are all entitled one) twisted over time and men have believed the doctrine of devils, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof which us SAINTS are warned about in the Gospel. What is wrong with giving my opinion and backing it up with sound scripture? If it pulls at some heart strings and people feel convicted of their sin, like Paul said, Im sad about it but also IM GLAD ABOUT IT in the fact that sin has no place in the life of a child of God, as is so abundantly said throughout the entire gospel.

To be honest I look at my day and can't tell you if I have broken any of God's commandments.

However, when I pray God points out moments in my day when I could have paid closer attentions or He lays it on my heart to reach out to people.

It says for those who know to do good and don't do it, it's a sin.

I don't worry about breaking the Ten commandments or any outward law. I am in constant prayer that I don't waste the precious time God has given me each day and that in all I do I glorify Him.

I feel neither perfect in that I know I could do better and have room to grow. Nor condemned because I rest in God's grace that He loves me and even if I say at home and did nothing or spent the day walking in the woods with Him, He would still be pleased with me.

So I find freedom in God's love and don't worry about "keeping God's commandments". Instead I think of "how can I show the world how much God loves them?"

I find that when we are joyful and smile, those around us smile too.

I was blessed to watch three toddlers today (while their moms where in a moms group at Church) and their smiles always makes my soul rejoice.

Satan can't condemn me because I am clothed in Christ's righteousness and love. My salvation is not based on my obedience but His grace and His work upon the cross.

My obedience comes from wanting to share God's love and truth and freedom with others around me. Which is the Holy Spirit working through me.

I am excited because I planted my garden today. Praying it will grow and the buggies not eat them up.

We all need to step back and pray.

Sometimes I get so discouraged reading the threads and I wonder why I bother.

Youre kidding me, right? I told everybody I have ceased from sinning and will never sin again, because I have ceased from sinning. You are all angry and arguing with me trying to prove it false saying that believers still sin. Are you being serious? Wow.
I knew if I gave it enough time this guy would quit beating around the bush and boldly proclaim that he no longer sins at all.

Even the Apostle Paul did not claim to be sinless. SpiritLed forgot to read past Romans 6 because Paul proclaims his own ongoing struggle with sin in Romans 7
