I want to make known my understanding of the Gospel, for I believe I haven't explained the glory of it that I perceive as well as I should have. I beg of you, if you are going to comment, which is encouraged of you to do so, let us love one another in truth. Please no name calling. No sarcasm. This is a brand new discussion.

I love you all very much, and I am going to do my best to explain why I am able to say that I will never sin again. I pray that after you read this message, you will agree that it is not absurd for a son of God to say so. Bear with me as I break down Romans 6, for the key to overcoming a sin after receiving the Holy Spirit is found within it.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
So, should we continue as we once were; living for ourselves, and not for God?
[SUP]2 [/SUP]God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Absolutely not, God forbid we make the decision to do so. How can we continue to live in sin after dying to it?

[SUP]3 [/SUP]Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Don't you know? Those of us that were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His crucifixion?

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Therefore, we are gone and buried with Him by baptism into actual death itself: so just like Christ was raised up from the grave by the glory of the God our Father, even we Christians should be walking as if we are brand new people who are living a brand new life.

[SUP]5 [/SUP]For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Because if we have been planted together in the same ways of His death, we will also be in the likeness of his resurrection; a completely new creature who is majestic child of God with the Holy Spirit living boldly inside of you.

[SUP]6 [/SUP]Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
And now we know that the person we used to be is crucified with him, so that person might be utterly destroyed and GONE, and as a person who has been resurrected in the likeness of Jesus, we should not be sinners anymore.

[SUP]7 [/SUP]For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Because the person that is dead is free and untouched from sin.

[SUP]8 [/SUP]Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
So if we are dead with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him, even now:

[SUP]9 [/SUP]Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
For in that we died with him, we died to sin once and for all: and this we now live, we live it for God.

[SUP]11 [/SUP]Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Consider yourselves therefore to be dead to sin, everything that it is, it is nothing to you, and you are literally dead to it, and now you are alive for God through Jesus Christ who is the Lord of our life.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Considering this, do not let sin exist in your mortal body, you are dead to it and will not obey its lusts for it has no power over you.

[SUP]13 [/SUP]Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Instead of submitting our bodies to be instruments of unrighteousness for sin, you should submit your entire body to God and shall be instruments of nothing but righteousness. You are living for God now.

[SUP]14 [/SUP]For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Because sin will not have power over you, for you are not under the law that you once existed in having a fleshly body, you are under grace for you now live after the Spirit.

[SUP]15 [/SUP]What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
So, taking that into consideration, should we sin because we have this new freedom under grace? Absolutely not, God forbid us from making a decision like that

[SUP]16 [/SUP]Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Don't you know, that to which one you do with your body, you are owned by? Either you are owned by sin which will surely lead you to death, or you are owned by obedience which leads you to righteousness.

[SUP]17 [/SUP]But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
But THANK GOD, you used to be the servants of sin, always committing it, but now you have obeyed from the heart that certain for of teaching which was delivered to you.

[SUP]18 [/SUP]Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

[SUP]19 [/SUP]I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

[SUP]20 [/SUP]For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
Because when you were sinners, you had absolutely no righteousness.

[SUP]21 [/SUP]What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
What were the things you used to do that you are now ashamed of, because those things lead to death, and you know this.

[SUP]22 [/SUP]But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
But now that you are free from sin, not taking part in it, and have become servants to God, you have your fruit unto holiness and the end everlasting life.

[SUP]23 [/SUP]For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

My old man is dead, the life I now live is a life that is quite literally through our Lord Jesus Christ, even as I type. I love you all.

Cmon!! Didn't you read what the Mod said? Just because you added a few nice words doesn't change the fact that this is the exact same issue of the previous 2 threads!

All I did was give a verse by verse of Romans 6.. Why am I not allowed to exist here? Talk about hate. I haven't once brought up Roman 6 in a single post. Im giving my opinion about it. This is a thread to discuss Romans 6.

Your stated goal for discussing Romans 6 is to explain why you will never sin again.

This is the same sinless perfection doctrine that you have been posting about for the past 2 days.

Ummmm, the Gospel is ALL about Jesus and what He has done to save sinners. Yours is a gospel of "you", not the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

If you are saying that the inner man that is a new creation in Christ will never sin again - then I agree with you. The new creation has been created in righteousness and holiness and it is impossible for the one born of the Spirit to sin because that is where Christ by the Holy Spirit dwells as one spirit with us. 1 John 3:9 & 1 John 5:18 - Jesus Himself keeps us.

1 John 5:18 (NASB)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.

But to say that one will never again do a work of the flesh again is what is called "sinless perfection in the flesh". James says we all stumble in many ways and whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

We are learning to live from the life of another Who is in us now. We are having our minds renewed to the truths of what Christ has done for us and as we walk in this life - His blood continually cleanses us from all sin ( present tense ). Why would we need the blood of Jesus to be cleansing us constantly if there was no sin in our actions to begin with? 1 John 1:7

Teach about Christ and the new creation in Christ and as we behold the glory/goodness of the Lord - the Holy Spirit transforms us outwardly in our behavior ( through the renewing of the mind - Rom. 12:2 ) to reflect who we truly are in our inner man of the heart in Christ. 2 Cor. 3;17-18

You lost me and many readers at

I am going to do my best to explain why I am able to say that I will never sin again.
I love discussing scriptures, but I take a pass on discussing how you are sinless.

Does God never chastens you?

How do you grow in Christ without the conviction of the Holy Spirit?

(rhetorical questions, since i have given up hoping that you will answer them since you are sinless)

Yes we died to self and Christ rises us up to new life. However we are not zombies or puppets. We must learn self control and perservance.

Christ lives in us but we are not made perfect yet. We can become mature in Christ, but even then we see but part of the picture and view the world dimly through these fleshy eyes. Thus we will fall short of the mark of God and need a mediator for when we fall to lift us up and gain God's forgiveness. To fall short of the glory of God is the biblical definition of sin. It may not be the sin of unbelief which is onto death, but is still a sin. This is why we not only need a savior on the cross but also in Heaven as our Mediator and comforter on Earth.

Its truly mystifying being consciously aware that Jesus Christ is walking with in you with every foot step you take in Him, amen!! The Spirit quickens my body in such a way that all I want to do is flow with Him as my day goes on, remaining in His love and goodness throughout the entirety of it.
I'm always reminded to remain in His goodness, to continually abide in Him. Thank God for His Spirit enabling me to do so! His word helps me as well, for I will never let go of the sound doctrine, yes, with the Spirit of Him living in me I will always do the will of God.

"Forasmuch then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: that he should no longer live the rest of His time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he spare not you.
Behold therefore the goodness and SEVERITY of God: on them which fell severity; but towards you, goodness, IF YOU CONTINUE IN HIS GOODNESS: otherwise YOU ALSO SHALL BE CUT OFF.

Amen, amen, and amen.

What you have posted about Romans 11 - it is talking about the Gentiles thinking that they are something without the natural branch. This is not talking about the individual person in Romans 11.

It is vitally important to read scripture in context or that text will con you.

Paul is simply saying that if the Gentiles and Jews continue in unbelief ( unbelief in receiving Christ's work on the cross and resurrection ) they too will be cut off. This is not talking about saved believers that are in Christ.

Romans 11:17-23 (NASB)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree,

[SUP]18 [/SUP] do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you.

[SUP]19 [/SUP] You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in."

[SUP]20 [/SUP] Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear;

[SUP]21 [/SUP] for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either.

[SUP]22 [/SUP] Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God's kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

[SUP]23 [/SUP] And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

No, what you wrote that you believe is what is wrong. And Christians are already one with Him.

The Spirit born of God (incorruptible seed) <--does not sin, never will sin, seeks to do right at all times
The Fallen Flesh housing said Spirit <--Sins daily, is dead because of sin, cannot do right, seeks to do contrary

The best we can do is suppress the sinful nature still found in the flesh and Romans as well as all others places (mostly) speak to our MANNER OF LIFE.

IF we say we have NO SIN WE ARE DECEIVED and the TRUTH IS NOT IN US.

End of story........

"The Spirit born of God (incorruptible seed) <--doess not sin, never will sin, seeks to do right at all times
The Fallen Flesh housing said Spirit <--Sins daily, is dead because of sin, cannot do right, seeks to do contrary

The best we can do is suppress the sinful nature still found in the flesh and Romans as well as all others places (mostly) speak to our MANNER OF LIFE....Why havent you mortified it yet? That flesh shoukd be dead and buried like Romans 6 states.

IF we say we have NO SIN WE ARE DECEIVED and the TRUTH IS NOT IN US . If we confess them he clebses us, which I did.

End of story........

This is so terribly sad. Jesus lives in me. I live in Him. His righteousness is seen through me. His love is seen through me. His sinlessness is seen through me. My old man is god, Jesus has redeemed and sanctified my mind, soul, and body. That's the whole point. And now you're gonna throw me away like garbage.

I wasnt sinless, then I died. I was literally buried in baptism with Him, I was then raised up like He was and now walk in newness of life. Romans 6- the message behind this thread. Those who are yet still asleep cannot wake others up.

Was Peter saved when he denied the Lord which was sin x 3
Was David saved when he took Bathsheba and Killed Uriah which was sin x 2 <-Uriah carried his own death sentence
Was Noah saved when he got drunk as a skunk after the flood
Was Abraham saved when he helped GOD (Ishmael) which was sin<-not of faith is sin
Was John saved when he said If we say we have NO sin we are deceived and the truth is not in us.

I am not going to play your folly and foolish game any longer.....good luck with your sinless perfectionism and hope you fare well on the OTHER chat sites.......

1Co 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

A person should not say,I will never sin again,as in being too self assured, although it is possible to not sin again by the Holy Spirit, but we can never be sinless while in the flesh, for as long as there is a struggle between good and evil in us,then we cannot be sinless until that struggle is gone, which is when we are with Jesus and we are out of the flesh, and only doing good, although we can abstain from sin if led by the Spirit.

A person that says,I can never sin again, but engages in sin with the attitude that it does not affect them, because they confess Christ,is wrong.

Sin is more wider than a lot of people realize, for a lot of people do not pick up on all those little sins they do thinking they do not sin, which every time someone posts in opposition of someone in a wrong manner is sin,and every time we spend money on things that are not according to our needs, and not help the poor is sin,and every time we spend our time on something that does not pertain to the kingdom of God is sin,for love not the world,or the things in the world.

Sin is more wider than a lot of people realize.

Gal 2:11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
Gal 2:12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
Gal 2:13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
Gal 2:14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

After Peter was converted, receiving the Spirit,he had a problem for like 14 years, and was not walking according to the truth of the Gospel, and Paul got in his face and told him to stop it.

We can abstain from sin if led by the Holy Spirit, for a Spirit led life will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, but we cannot be sinless as long as we are in the flesh, and we have a struggle between good and evil, and to say,I will never sin again should be done by saying,if led of the Spirit, but I would not say I will not sin again as too self assured, for there is still time ahead of me,and who knows what the future holds, and sin is more wider than people realize, for a lot of people do not pick up on all those little sins they do,for all our time, money, attitude, lifestyle,is only supposed to pertain to the kingdom of God,and I have not seen one person that did it perfect,or did not flaw once in a while, but of course we can always be forgiven.

To truly be sinless is to abstain from sin at all times, which some people do not understand that, but act as if they confess Christ,so they are sinless despite their sins, but being sinless is to abstain from all sins, that is why the Bible say to abstain from sins of the flesh, and if a person holds unto sin, they have erred from the truth, and their soul is in danger of death, and why Jesus said, not all who say Lord,Lord, shall dwell with Me,for they were workers of iniquity, and all who name the name of Christ has to depart from iniquity, which there is no excuse for a Spirit led life can abstain from sin.
