I want to ask a personal question to everyone here, how often do you just sit and think about the journey you and God have walked? the things you have learned the changes that were made in you and in those around you because of that change?
Something I notice in a lot of Christians is that they don't spend enough time with him, I mean personal and deep time with him getting away from all the chaos of the world and our lives go to that still quite place with him.

For me this time with him is absolutely necessary It's a time of deep communion that washes away all my worries and fears even when I feel horrible from being sick or not sleeping well inside my soul is singing. This also is a time of pondering a time of deep thinking it's in these times God speaks and teaches us in a way that can only be done in that still quire place with him.

I see all the debates and the arguing in cc and I ask myself how often do they spend personal quality time with God? because when one does this often anger and stress and futile debating cannot exist only peace love and this kind of joy that is unique only with him. To ponder the things of God is to be in that still quite place with him it's like listening to a peaceful gentle rain or the soothing sounds of the ocean waves gently making their way to the shore. Pondering the things of God is to think deeply in the spirit and can only truly happen in that state it doesn't even have to be you being alone in your room away from everything, maybe at first that is what it may but this still quite place eventually becomes a state of being even in the chaos of everyday life but one must first learn to be with him in that kind of state often however that may be for me it's going on my walks for others it could be writing or painting or swimming others still it's simply reading his word others it's going jogging.

the point is to remember the pondering

When I was a new christian I enjoyed praying and spending quiet time speaking with God and Jesus and just trying to feel His presence. I was all at once in love with and thankful that I had this connection to God and I asked Him to never let faith fade and to help me remember the scriptures and to guide me into my new, faith-filled future.... And all this was well and good and I even considered becoming a minister, but like the man who built his house on sand, my faith waned when calamity entered my life.

I'd rather not go into details, but it was by far the most difficult thing I ever had to go through. It was something I could not have even imagined 5 or 6 years ago. Now I am slowly rebuilding my faith and coming back to God. I know in my heart its the right thing to do, but its still not easy, although that little miracle that happened to me a few days ago pretty much catapulted my belief in God.. but yeah that's where I'm at.

It sounds like psychobabble or something involving secrets.

It's not. If it doesn't make sense to you then you might be a V.

Just saying...

I use to be far better at this than I am now.
Now any time when I'm not busy, is more likely to be snoozing time catching up on missing
sleep.

Yea and I try to keep it a routine but I havent been keeping it as much as I used to. I find that without taking time with God..life starts feeling so empty and lonely. I cant handle it for long until I run back to daddy hehe
Often just in thoughts I take time with God..And recently with having more and more contact with the..well ''worldly'' people without faith all in all..I start seeing hoe much God changed me..And it makes my jaw drop because they talk with me and stuff and ask me things and want to take me out to party and all that and I just dont feel any desire for it.
And my way of reactions.. Completely different.. its crazy how much God changed me..
Things like that keep coming to my mind. Sometimes I just sit back with my tea and start talking to God shaking my head. And all that what hes done in me, gives me faith that he will and can do it in others too
