When a person is saved, that person is saved by Jesus Christ and believing Him.

Believing Him is faith which comes from hearing His Word, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This gift of faith leads to our living in grace, that is to say, when we err, we are
seen by the Father as innocent because of Jesus Christ, our Salvation, within us.

Many folks have exchanged our Savior for a cult of saved-by grace.

I adv ise all to reappraise their own stance on Jesus Christ, and to give glory
Only to Jesus Christ, for He is our Salvation and the reason we live in grace.

All glory to Jesus Christ, amen. There are probably many who when they say
grace actually intend to make reference to Jesus Christ, but grace-only without
giving glory to the One Whol lived and died (horribly) for each one of us is a perversion
of Salvation.

All glory to Jesus Christ for our salvation,, faith and grace follow......

Jesus is grace it's not a cult it's believing in he who died and shed his blood for us, if everything good comes from God then grace is from God and if there was a person who is grace it would be Jesus

It is written that faith leads to grace. Faith is a gift as is grace after salvation. Read it in the Word.

Salvation leads to these gifts, and they are eternal.

We must not change them to an isolated belief, that is a belief isolated from Jeus Christ and what He has done for me and for all.

I did qualify in the OP that many who say we are saved by grace do intend to say by Jesus Christ, but grae comes from faith and faith from believing Jesus Christ.............all glor to Jesus Christ our Salvation.

If "most" people have exchanged our Savior for a cult of saved by grace? Are you saying that all Christians are now a cult because we are in fact saved by grace through faith in Christ. Why do you attack the grace of God so much?

Brother - I can see why some have a problem with your posts.

Ephesians 2:5 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

Ephesians 2:8 (NASB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

We are told to be strong in the grace that is in Christ.

2 Timothy 2:1 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]
You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

We are to fix our hope completely on the grace that is being brought to us at the revelation of Christ.

1 Peter 1:13
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

We are told that it is the grace of God in Christ that will build us up and will give to us the inheritance that is ours in Christ.

Acts 20:32 (NASB)
[SUP]32 [/SUP] "And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Our Father will for all eternity be showing the "riches of His grace" in His kindness towards us.

Ephesians 2:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

There is no such thing as grace without the Lord Jesus Christ and there is no Lord Jesus Christ without grace. You are trying to separate the wet from the water.

It is only by the grace of God that we are saved. When we hear about Christ - faith comes from the grace supplied with the message of Christ Himself.

Even the Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of grace. He is also called the Spirit of Christ. The Spirit of truth. These all speak of Christ.

Who in the world gives "glory" to grace and not to the Lord Jesus Christ? Of course all glory and honor goes to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Those who are saved by grace are saved by Jesus.. You call it a ""cult"" and then go on to describe and affirm the central belief of those who believe they are saved by grace... You seem to be two minded and very much confused.. Call it a cult then affirm it's teachings as true and good?????? weird ...

Amen. People get saved because grace supplies the faith when they hear the message of the grace of God. The OP has it backwards. Faith doesn't come first - the grace of God does. Grace supplies the faith and it comes from hearing the message of Jesus Christ and all that He has done for us.

Personally I find this OP offensive to God and the work that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished for us in saying that grace-only is a cult.

In all tyruth, anyone making it a point to belong to any denomination is affected , at least in part, by cultism.

Jesus Christ teaches us the faith of Abraham, not a denomination..

And yes, according to the Word, when we believe Jesus christ we are given faith which then leads to grace.

Salvation is the first step, faith is a gift and it leads to living in the free gift of grace.

As for some, perhaps most being somewhat decevied, this comes from not knowing all of the Word, and this applies to every one of us.

Unless you know any indiviual who is master of the Word other than Jesus Christ, this aplies to you and to me.

Our Father does not take us for what we have or what we know. It is His work that is begun in each of us when we are saved, and none of us, not a a one, is perfect until His Day, the Day of the Lord.

So when I say it is a cult for many, grace-only, I mean it is for many, not all. Many are called but few are saved....

The Father will call His children out of the Great Whore, and out of her daughters too; perhaps He has been doing this for some time.

Blessed be Jesus Christ, Yeshua, amen.

Only people who say "grace" and don't mean the grace given to us by Jesus death on the cross are Muslims.

Hebrew roots could be labeled a cult.

When Christianity began it was labeled a Jewish cult.

What do you have against denominations and mainstream churches?

Grace and faith are both gifts from God. Faith leads to agape love.

Did you just call all Christian churches whores?

Any group having a name that does not apply to Jesus Christ may be called a cult and that includes Hebrew Roots . Jesus Christ, Yeshua, was not of Hebrew Roots any more than He was a Baptist, Methodist, Jw, Catholic...ad nauseaum..

This by no means says members of these denominations separated by their dogmas are not in Jesus Christ. Even I have that much sense, mercy, love and understanding, but do not say these denominations differ one from another by their own admission.

I hope you do not think Jesus was a Jew as pertaining to Judaism. He was a Jew by descent but He was not of any denomination. Actually, Judaism began because He ascended and so many other sects sprang up.

The most important for us all is to give all glory to Jesus christ. If a person is saved by Him, faith and grace always come with Salvation, but we all know we were not fully aware until it was given us by the Hoy Spirit.

PS.......anyone who is in Jesus Christ has Hebrew roots for we are all made children of Abraham, the original Hebrew and Father of us all.

Something interesting about the word, Hebrew. It means from across the river (Jordan.)

The children of Israel had to cross Jordan in order to enter the Promised Land.

All who believe will be entering into the Eternal Promised Land when we each have crossed Jordan.

The other day, DCon talked about the simplicity of Jesus and he's exactly right. Jesus shares His wonderful gifts and teachings with us and we've been screwing it up for 2000 years. I like your above post and you ask a very good question.

for the issue of us who believe in grace and are called cult All I have is this to say Isiah 5:20 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
I do not mean that I am saying woe to people who say this about grace believers I am only saying it was prophesied that in the last days good would be seen as bad and bad seen as good
